SUPER HAPPY FUNLAND! [Mission for Ben and Maia]

OOC: A hustling and bustling little amusement park half a mile in diameter, the normally happy location had drawn the attention of two newly formed vampires.  Jerry (Category D) and Trixie (Category F) are a couple of hard partying, rude adolescents that want nothing more than to cause chaos wherever they go.  As such, they thought it would be a totally hip and super cool idea to crash a pick up truck full of ghouls into the park and start eating everyone.  During the initial chaos, the twosome ran into the park to find an isolated, hidden location to have sex while their ghouls devour the park.  Your mission, should you choose to accept it, is to eliminate the vampires and save as many civilians as possible.

Starting Civilian number: 2000

The Ghoul count will double during each DM post until no civilians remain, at which point all of them will automatically swarm the Hellsing agents.

What a day. They got to rest for a few hours, and then the next mission....things were really harsh lately, there was a vampire attack nearly everyday.
Parking their BMW M3 near the main entrance to the amusement park, Ben got out of the car and cracked his neck- while the new Dragonskin armor should protect him much better than ususal, things might get a bit awkward when so many ghouls are involved.
His new weapon, the Mattock, was slung around his shoulder while his Sterling was at his waist, waiting for use.
"So how do we approach this one Maia? We know there`s a vampire couple, and we know there´s a bunch of ghouls... There´s a ton of ground to cover too, i`m not sure how to tackle this."
Saying that he knew they were pressed hard on the time, every minute they wasted would cost people their lives.
So, grabbing his rifle with both hands, he loaded through, made sure it was chambered and loaded, and made his way to the entrance, vaulting over the locked revolvering enter-thingy.
"To think i could still be in the gym, and maybe share a glass of wine with her..." He muttered to himself, spotting and shooting a ghoul that stood next to a wall. No civilian casulties there, he pointed and shot him, no doubt telling the rest of the civilian crowd something was up.

“No waiting around now Ben, we need to get in there and find the Vampires as quickly as we can. Come on!” She started to run through to try and kill the Vamps as quickly as possible; she grimaced as she checked her SAIGA was ready. This was going to be tough to say the least, she heard him mutter about the wine so giving a small smile she turned to throw him a bone as she slipped her goggles on “if we succeed here then I’ll get another bottle out to savour, in a more comfortable place then the gym…” Her voice drifted off at the end as she turned back to scanning the area, her keen eyes puncturing through the night’s veil.

This was going to be interesting.

“We need to sweep through this place quickly Mein Herr, if we go around this place circularly then we should be able to search everywhere the Vamps may have ran off to. We can’t let them escape here alive, so let’s check the haunted house first…” Maia’s feet beat against the pavement, her teeth bared in anger. So within a minute they came towards the house, the doors beckoned and look like they’d been used a lot but otherwise it was normal. The female vampire opened the door quietly, rushing in with intent to scan the room for their enemies.

As the two Hellsing vampires rushed into the empty Haunted House like a couple of spastic golden retrievers, the ghouls began to spread throughout the park. Having been thrown out of the truck at various points around the amusement park, they quickly began nomming on every available civilian to increase their numbers and establish a perimeter. The truck that had brought them into the park in the first place sat abandoned, crashed up against the fountain next to the churro stand on the edge of the food court that sat in the shadow of the ferris wheel and water slide.

Instead of taking one of the slow moving carts that the ride was designed for, Ben simply kicked in the door and went inside, his eyes adjusting to the dark quickly as he went through the funhouse.
A skeleton dropping from the cieling was almost shot by surprise, but on the other hand, he nearly missed the groaning, drooling brainless idiot standing inside the scenary- he recieved a bullet from his Mattock, just to be sure.

Scanning the area didn´t even take five minutes, but he didn`t see any vampires- a bit frustrated, he met up with Maia back outside, before sniping down a ghoul that was climbing up the ferris wheel for some reason.

The ghoul climbing the ferris wheel fell to the pavement with a wet thwack. The Hellsing agents had yet to locate their primary targets but the sudden deaths of the few ghouls they had killed and the sound of gunshots had alerted the still hidden vampires. Not concerned with dealing with the problem directly, they simply sent mental orders to their slaves to start eating faster.

OOC: Ghouls will now multiple by a factor of 3 during each DM post.

(Indeed. Waited until two days after he got active again following his vacation. He passed the 48 hour mark so he got skipped this round. You didn't think I was just going to hand over the Slaughter Point did you?)

Twisting and turning to try and figure out where to go next Maia gave a little grimace, closest to them for her to search was a storage tent. it seemed decayed and slightly small, but it would serve to hide in... not wanting to drag feet she called out to her partner "Ben, come on, we have no time to dawdle at the rate this mission's going damn it!" she shouted at him as she started to run towards the entrance, her weapon was cocked and ready in her hands with a full magazine of silver rounds.
She eyed the entrance...
This was a possible turning point that she wasn't going to let slide by, she gritted her teeth and brought her gun to her shoulder as she crossed the threshold. The smell of blood hit her, and as she eyed the dark she waited to get any sign of movement she could...They were relatively close to the edge of the park, they could still escape if it proved too much. But that would be another failure, she couldn't fail twice in a row could she?

There was nothing in that tent, not even a ghoul. It was pretty damn quiet compared to the rest of the park... and despite the smell of blood, Ben didn`t feel or hear any unsusual activity in there.
Instead, as he turned around to stab a ghoul that creeped up behind him with his knife in the head, his glance directed back towards the rotating ferris wheel. The vampires were a couple... could it be that... they wanted to watch the slaughter from above, from a romantic spot..?

"Maia, i´ve got a hunch. Lets head to the ferris wheel, that ghoul was climbing it for a reason. At worst, we`ve got a good sniping position there... if we stop it first."

Not taking no for an answer, he took off quickly and hopped over some of the smaller buildings, taking shortcuts... while going there, he shot a total of five rounds at five ghouls attacking humans, but he couldn´t stop and check if he hit them. Instead, he made a beeline for the ferris wheel, kicking in the door of the control room to figure out how to stop it, right this instant.
Finding out that the rotation system was far, far more complicated than he thought, he simply smashed the whole thing with a few smacks of his rifle butt and pulled out the high voltage power cord he found leading into the earth.

In the vampire's desperate, messy rush towards the Ferris Wheel, he'd managed to destroy two more of the violent ghouls filling the park. As the Hellsing agents reached the control box for the ride, the various clumps of ghouls spread throughout the park began to gradually filter towards the massive wheel. The main targets remained safely enclosed in a covered cab at the top of the wheel, happily engaged in a passionate kiss as their slaves continued to multiply.

Maia reached the bottom of the Ferris wheel with a sigh, this was going to be awkward, so she switched her magazine for a fresh full one “Time to go up then…” she sighed once more “heights are awkward to say the least, let’s just go and get this over with” her voice was determined and as she said the last sentence she was already going straight up the wheel with intent, her eyes wide open as she neared the top of the wheel. “Ben hold me steady, I can shoot into the cab while they’re distracted that way…” waiting for him to get there to hold her in place she readied herself, she readied her third eye to make sure that even at this close range nothing was wasted. This was going to be quick, she would pop her head up while held in place and begin shooting at the Vampires inside.

Ben, standing next to her on one of the lower cabins, nodded and... with some reluctance, placed his hands on her hips, then moved them further up, eventually embracing her from behind while holding her rifle along with her. His right hand was placed on hers that was holding the front end, while the left clutched the magazine, pressing the gun against her shoulder.
"Breath steady. Take aim. Exhale, adjust, press it hard and pull the trigger." He whispered in her ear, red on his whole face, but he knew what was at stake here. The lives of those people.. if they could make this shot, if they could take out even one of them, hundreds of people could live.
He held the gun and Maia tight and placed his faith in her.

Within the top car of the Ferris wheel, the two vampires continued their kiss, blissfully unaware of the Hellsing agents climbing up after them. Eventually the gentle taps of the Hellsing agents boots did reach the ears of the vampires and they broke off their kiss, the male glancing towards the location of the sounds. "The hell is-" was all he had time to say before Hellsing's agent popped up and promptly put a bullet through Trixie's head. Abruptly freaking out and throwing the limp form of his now ex-girlfriend at the scary gun woman, Jerry leaped out of the cab in the opposite direction and began a nosedive towards the ground below. Upon landing in a low crouch, the vampire would call out to his undead slaves to get their undead asses to his position as soon as possible to help him.

((The original 15 ghouls were made by the male vampire so the horde is connected to him, not his very dead girlfriend.))

(Maaaaaiaaa. Post. I don´t wanna be skipped again.)

“Ben, engage the bastard and I’ll try and shoot him into a corner” her voice was filled with anxiety, she hated the fact that she had been ineffective in hand to hand as of late but had to swallow the fact that Ben would have a better chance than her with her having the better weapon. She put it onto single shot and prepared to fire, she let out all her breath and fired with her third eye. Targeting the running vampire’s heart and with his back turned he wouldn’t know which way to dodge, that made it easier.

Her eyes turned red, her grip on the trigger stiffened, and after around two seconds of getting her shot ready she let out three quick shots at her running opponent to try and take him out or at the very least slow him down with the blessed silver rounds. Her teeth bared against the small recoil, the fight was tense enough to put her on edge. But hopefully it wouldn’t get any tougher, without the other vampire it would be a tad easier to say the least.

Ben nodded and hopped off of the Ferris wheel, his Mattock back in his hands, and landed on the ground near where the vampire landed.. of course, the vampire was already on the run, letting his ghouls cover his escape, but Ben was done playing games. He flicked the switch to full auto and fired a ten round burst into the ghouls that started to move towards him, starting to run and jump over the rest of them- one or two rounds found their way out of his gun and towards Terry, but after just four, his last bullet was loaded and he had to swap magazines- an easy task thanks to the mag clamp.

In a romantic movie, his mind would now be at the scene up on the ferris wheel, when he touched Maia`s body in the way he did- but this was the real life. People died here. People were murdered because those two had kinky interests.
Ben gritted his teeth, aimed his ironsight at the back of Terry`s body and squeezed out a five round blast.

OOC: "Abruptly freaking out and throwing the limp form of his now ex-girlfriend at the scary gun woman, Jerry leaped out of the cab in the opposite direction and began a nosedive towards the ground below." <= No mention in Maia's post about reacting to the gradually disintegrating body that was chucked at her. Due to that I'll be calling a hit to knock her off the top of the Ferris wheel and void those shots.

Jerry's undead forces grouped up on him quickly enough to form a nice meat shield around him. Unfortunately, he wouldn't have much time to waste. Those freaks up there had guns that could actually hurt him. He had to get out of the park. With this in mind, he bolted away from the Ferris wheel using a slight serpentine pattern to navigate the thickening crowd of ghouls. The few shots that came his way were avoided through the combination of ghouls lopping into their trajectory and dumb luck. While the Hellsing agent reloading his weapon, the full ghoul horde moved towards him. His little acrobatics earlier had gotten him past a few of the undead but now the servants were in a prime position to surround him and rip the boy limb from limb. As they lunged in to sink their teeth into the vampire another 5 rounds from that damn gun were fired at Jerry. Only managing a partial evasion with his serpentine path, the round ripped into his upper left arm, severing the limb entirely and sending Jerry crashing to the ground screaming in pain as he clutched his stump of a left arm tight.

Maia grabbed a hold of the Ferris wheel as she started to fall, with a growl the Vampire jumped up once more onto her firing platform in the cart then she started to fire. She wasn’t concentrating on the vampire she simply used her third eye to fire single shots at the ghouls around Ben, dropping them as they moved in for the kill in an attempt to surround him. Her kill instinct was at its strongest; she emptied around eighteen rounds before her gun clicked empty. With speed and precision she reloaded and started firing again, it was like shooting fish in a barrel “just kill him now Ben” she muttered under her breath.

Ben didn´t hear Maia anymore.
Ben didn´t hear the screaming civilians, or the groaning of the ghouls.
He felt them, that was for sure, but his ears were full of a shrieking sound as his eyelids twitched, his eyeballs burning with a fire he never experienced before- burning fuel shot down his veins rather than blood, and he found himself clubbing down ghouls with the weapon he wielded to gain some space....
His finger pulled the trigger, again, again and again, uncaring what he had in sight, there was nothing but ghouls in front of him anyway.... eventually, the ammo in his magazine ran dry and he pushed forward, smacking ghouls left and right...

There. The smell of blood led Ben to him.
There he was, cowering on the ground with his destroyed limb.
Ben´s left hand shot to his holster and whipped out the Sterling, pointed, aimed with his third eye that seemed to have become his first set of eyes and fired, the entire magazine, again and again from point blank, seven, eight, nine rounds, uncaring that the ghouls were clawing at him.
This was the guy that had to die. He would die. He would make sure that this guy would die.

Shit shit shit shit shit. Jerry's mind raced as he tried to drag himself away from the two maniacs with military weapons. They actually hurt. They weren't supposed to hurt! His ghouls were being shot to pieces by that bitch up top and the others simply beaten out of the way by the kid. Jerry was forced to keep throwing more and more minions at them to try and keep him away long enough to get away but it wasn't going to be enough. Even with some of his ghouls increasing their numbers in the other parts of the park he just didn't have the numbers for this. His only hope was the ghouls that latched onto Ben as the boy drew his side arm. Undead jaws clamped down on flesh and worked to rip off slabs of meat until the Hellsing operative was nothing but a skeleton. However, the ghouls attacks weren't stopping him. What was this guy!? "No no no n-!" were Jerry's last words as Ben unloaded bullet after bullet into him, blasting his earthly form into ground beef. As the vampire expired, his viscous ghouls began to grow limp before dropping to the pavement all across the park, just as dead as their defeated master.
