The calm before the storm. Becoming a team. Becoming one with the Force.

A wide open area, a space in the national park that was cut off by a cliff leading to the ocean- this was their training ground, right there, Yureka decided. Should be enough to hide the abnormal proportions of STRENGTH from anyone else...
Standing there without her coat, watching the waves in the distance before sighing, finishing her pre-combat meditation.

She turned around to face her partner in crime, the tiny cyborg with the big hands.
"So.. I asked you out here today because i wanted to get to know you, and wanted to give you a chance to get to know me. Our enemy is a team as well, a well oiled machine with its only purpose being the death of us- so both of us should be prepared and able to act as one, together."

She looked into the eyes of the girl, crossing the arms above her chest- she didn`t wear her coat out here today, for the practical purpose of better mobility and access to her weapons. She hoped she wouldn`t need them, but who knew.

"Do you understand? We`re in this together, and i won`t leave you behind. But we´ll fight better if we know what the other`s going to do."

This was a strange situation to be in. Though she couldn't remember ever meeting her before, it was like they'd known each other for some time now, almost like some outside force had created their relationship. Even with all of this, they still had no training together or battle experience as a team. Whatever had happened, it was an odd and fickle event.

These weren't things to worry about at the moment, though. There was the other teams to consider, and how they were most likely going through training of their own. They would have to get in as much practice as they could before the battle began, assuming no one died. Rubber bullets were loaded -a first for the girl- so as not to inflict lethal damage. This person was supposed to be able to heal from damage, so a beating wouldn't mean any permanent injury as long as she held back a bit.

She was listening to what the partner had to say, but did nothing besides move a rock with her foot. After she finished speaking, STR nodded to show she understood. Would they attack now? Or were they waiting for some kind of signal? Unsure of how to proceed, she opened and closed her hands several times and swayed back and forth a bit.

Shrugging, Yureka pulled out her Luger and held it by her side. It seemed like the little girl had understood, even though she didn`t say a word.
That was fine. They wouldn`t need words. What they needed to look for were gestures, facial expressions, the twitch of a muscle.
Such as Yureka`s arm, which suddenly jerked forward and aimed for Yuu`s chest, firing a rubber bullet at her through the seven inch barrel of her Luger.

It seemed like their fight was beginning. The woman's arm moved up, the obvious precursor to firing from the gun she'd produced moments before. Moving her right arm in front of her body, STRENGTH blocked the single bullet, responding with a smack from the gargantuan appendage. The motion would block any further offensive coming from the direct front, as well as knock the woman away. The only perceived problem (outside of the fight, not in it) would be pushing her partner off the cliff. Even with regeneration, a fall like that would hurt.
