With a little elbow grease, your humble staff members are back and we have a lot of wonderful ideas which we are working on so please keep an eye out for new changes to the way things are handled. These are the most recent things to get approved.
COMBINED STAFF ACTIVITY
All staff will now log into the site on Wednesdays and Saturdays as often as possible to assist in forum moderation and new member assistance.
HERMES LOTTERY
This is a new idea that we have come up with to promote activity and encourage death on the forum. It is also the first time that dice are now going to be used on this forum so let's keep our fingers crossed. Here's what the idea does:
Summary
Lotto Reward system which uses dice to target specific members for extra SP rewards if they are killed.
Detailed Description
At the beginning of every month (or when each lotto has been claimed), three members are selected randomly using the dice system on the site. These members will have a Slaughter Point bounty placed on their head of 3 Slaughter Points which can be redeemed upon their death. A screen shot will be added to the post and a notification sent out to let you know that you have been selected. If the name that is drawn doesn't have a character, it gets rerolled. If a person is inactive without notification in Arrivals & Departures during the time their name is drawn, their character dies immediately and the username gets deleted.
PACK MENTALITY
Summary
Members get an active SP bonus whenever they participate in a battle with three or more members or their same organization or race.
Detailed Description
Users can now create an informal group called a pack. The benefit of doing this is that any time that you participate in a battle with three or more members of your organization or pack, upon a successful kill, each living member of that thread gets points for that kill.
