OOC: I'm considering running as a temp for Enrico and Heinkel, giving up whichever role draws the attention of another member first. It's either that or just giving up Heinkel entirely. I'll make my final decision based on the other Staff's opinions.

Physical appearance:
Standing at five feet, eight inches and weighing one hundred and seventy-five pounds, Enrico presents a rather slender appearance. While he is not small to the point of being gangly, it is quite obvious that he is a diplomat, not an athlete. His hair is a silvery grey and held in a long ponytail which reaches midway down his back. His skin is a slightly pale Caucasian complexion implying a slight lack of sunlight. His features are quite pointed, including his chin, cheek bones, and nose which is rather long. His teeth are perfectly white and straight. His eyes are a vibrant violet color and he seems to face a slight facial twitch in his left eye during times of great excitement or stress.

Clothing of choice:
Maxwell possesses two major forms of dress, his day to day activities ensemble and more formal attire. His day to day clothes are rather simple, black dress shoes, white socks, black dress pants held up with a simple black belt of Italian leather, a long sleeved white clerical shirt complete with a priest’s collar, white opera gloves with synched cuffs and golden crosses stitched onto their backs. Over the dress shirt is a dark purple vest with a golden trim. Always present, regardless of the occasion is his ornate cross worn around his neck, and his glasses. Though they are only worn occasionally, they are always on his person.
When attending to his duties as the head of the Catholic Church, Enrico adds a bit of pomp to his clothing. To do this he merely dons a formal black cassock which is kept buttoned to the top. The metal buttons are painted black as is the interior and lining of the cassock giving it the appearance of an ebony robe. Along with this is the black tassel of the pope worn draped over his shoulders. The tassel is crimson and covered with stylized patterns colored gold.

Weaponry of choice:
Maxwell is not a combatant in any sense of the word. Instead he chooses to delegate all threats to his many bodyguards and underlings. However, this does not mean he is entirely defenseless. Just as a precaution, Maxwell carries small Beretta M1934 loaded with blessed rounds. This weapon is small enough to easily conceal within his vestments.

Abilities:
Where he lacks in physical abilities, Enrico more than makes up for in intelligence. A natural born scholar, Maxwell is an expert theologian and historian in general, capable of instantly reciting any Gospel quote at the drop of a hat. Also he is an excellent diplomat, skilled in the fields of coercion and rhetoric few can best Maxwell in a verbal duel. In addition to this he is a capable leader, while emotionally unstable at times, he is indeed a talented strategist and can instill moral in his followers with great ease.

Personality:
The best way to describe Enrico would have to be driven, obsessive even. His life goal is nothing less than to be great and respected. To this end he is ruthless, conniving, and malicious to gain any advantage possible. Proud and haughty, he looks down on non-Catholics as less than human and even takes pleasure in their deaths from time to time. He is quite excitable, as seen in his interactions with Integra Hellsing where he quickly becomes agitated almost to the point of violence. All in all it would suffice to say that Maxwell has an inferiority complex.

Biography:
Born the illegitimate son of a mistress, Enrico Maxwell was looked down upon from day one. Unable to ever claim his birthright as the son of a wealthy Italian businessman with distant ties to the royalty of ages past, young Maxwell’s inner rage festered with each passing day. Eventually, Enrico was brought to the humble orphanage of Ferdinand Luke’s, his father unable to bear the shame of his existence any longer. It was there that Maxwell’s break from humanity became intensified as he turned his back on all precepts of friendship and began seeing people as nothing more than objects. There were rare exceptions to this rule, namely his caretaker Father Alexander Anderson, and two fellow orphans Yumiko Takagi and Heinkel Wolfe who quickly became the closest thing to friends he had.
As the years passed, Maxwell buried himself in his studies and classes, intent upon reaching greatness so it was little surprise when he entered the illustrious ranks of the Iscariot Organization. However, his lust was unsatisfied and he quickly rose to the Director of the 13th Section. He commanded his forces with discipline and decisiveness throughout the Millennium massacre of 1999 and was eventually forced to call a retreat upon the release of Nosferatu Alucard’s final seal. Maxwell bided his time and gathered his forces for the next strike. When Millennium reared its head once more he was ready and his men sent them screaming into the night like the vermin they were but at a heavy cost. The pope lay dead and due to the confusion, no suitable replacement could be found. Seizing the opportunity, Maxwell claimed the chair of St. Peter as his own and rules from the lofty position to this day.

Enrico Maxwell, Director of Iscariot, Head of the Catholic Church, stood atop the marble steps leading to the main gates of the Iscariot castle. The scent of burning wood and bodies assaulted his nostrils but he did not grimace. He knew very well that it was not Christian flesh burning, but that of monsters. His white gloved hands were crossed behind his back as he stared smugly at the small flock of vampires before him. Their olive and black uniforms were frayed and bloody as were the weapons they carried. Evidently they had fought long and hard through Vatican City to come this far, but it was all for not. The leader yelled some incoherent threat in german but it fell on deaf ears. Maxwell's smooth, aristocratic features contorted and twisted into a malevolant sneer, his cross glowing in the fading moonlight.
"You sad little wretches..." he quipped almost like a parent chastizing a misbehaving toddler. "You dare to invade MY city, assault MY people, and go so far as to threaten God's first adn foremost representative! Do you really believe that the Almighty would allow one such as myself to fall into your filthy hands?" The young pope took a moment to smooth out his silvery hair. "I grow tired of this prattle, allow me to educate in the law of the old Testament, might against might, and an eye for an eye."
With that, Enrcio snapped his fingers, an echoing signal to his most trusted of all protectors. A man who's very name struck the undead stiff with fear. Less than a second after his signal was sent, a whirlwind of golden Bible pages rained down from above, condensing into a great shining tornado of peity. When the Gospel finally settled to the earth, it's heavenly illumination faded, Maxwell's trump card sttod tall. The Paladin Monster Slayer, Father Alexander Anderson, had arrived to defend his Pope. Maxwell licked his lips as utter carnage and bedlum played out before him. Truly the Lord was with him this day.
