| The South Pole. Why? Why? Leto hated the cold; hated most things that Herr Major schemed, for that matter. It was one exciting escapade after another, and what the gothic boy wouldn't do for some good, old-fashioned boredom... He sat alone in the dank cafeteria, treating himself to one of the last blood packs left in the freezer. Everyone else had wandered to the War Room, somehow, leaving Leto alone with his thoughts - and his shivering bones. I'm a vampire, he thought increduously. I shouldn't even be able to feel the cold. And yet he did. It chilled him to the bone, and further still to their marrow. The thin glass windows didn't help much; they just allowed what little heat there was to seep out.

| ‚What are you doing here boy?‘ A tall, slender woman appeared in the cafeteria door right behind him, backing against doorframe. ‘Aren’t you interested in what our mighty Fuhrer is telling at the War Room…?’ Without looking away from Leto the woman walked towards the counter, heading for the kitchen.

| Leto raised his head in curiosity and weariness, staring at the newcomer and taking in all there was to see. Mh? Oh - that's why they're all going there? He shrugged lightly, making it clear that no speech the Major made would make any difference to him, whatsoever. Well, why aren't you there?~ He attempted, vainly, to put on his inherant charm, figuring that such a thing would be worthwhile around such a seductive girl. Then again, the way she looked at him... It didn't seem that too many friendly thoughts were passing through her head. And so, standing, Leto approached the kitchen's counter, leaning over it and watching the woman's progress. And who might you be? |

| She smiled cheekily but somehow perfidiously, taking two sharp, long knifes from the bar. ‘Who I am?’ Her smile transformed merely to a subtle grin.
‘My name is Carmina Hancock, Leutnant and chef of the große Letztes Bataillon! And actually…’ She backed against the counter, seductively staring at Leto’s glance but seemed nevertheless a bit like a predator inspecting its future prey.
While her red, ripe lips seemed almost to taste every word she spoke, the way she held the two knifes gave her speech an entirely different, creepy meaning, much similar to an understated threat.
‘…I’m looking for tonight’s dinner meat~’
The young woman laughed lowly but still wickedly guttural. Then she suddenly put the blades away, back into the drawer where they belonged to. ‘Well, but I guess I have to hang up that for now. So…I am the one who takes you, little fangy-boy, away from your poor, sweet, pathetic loneliness to the war room.’
She added all at once very serious: ‘The Major wants EVERYONE, every single member of the battalion to be there, so come on. We’re already late.’

| He listened to her little spech with growing anxiousness, eyeing the knives more than the girl by the time she had finished, and uttering a quiet sigh of relief when they disappeared into the drawer. Leto nodded to her, rolling his eyes before putting on once more his charming guise.
It's very nice to meet you, Carmina~ And who am I to refuse a girl who carries knives like some kind of cannibal?~ The gothic boy spoke with an edge to his voice; he had heard all about thw one the others called 'The Cannibal Chef' - this couldn't be her, could it..? He sincerely hoped not, but nontheless believed that she was.
And so, trying immensely hard not to show any flicker of bad emotion, Leto offered the girl his hand, smiling rather sensually. Shall we go?~ |

| The fear she saw in Leto’s eyes when she spoke was one of the most adorable sensations Carmina knew. She just enjoyed playing with her victims in quite sadistic manners – but as well she loved it to play with some colleagues in a much similar way, even if she didn’t kill them since she wasn’t allowed to. Sometimes, Mina really regretted that.
‘Like some kind of cannibal?’ she repeated with a coquettish grin. The boy maybe didn’t even knew how close he was to the truth. 'Now if you mention that...I still have to buy some new bottles of Chianti for the 'special dinners'...'
Nodding smirking and still looking at the vampire’s eyes she accepted his hand for a short shake, dissembling the slightest reaction to the undead’s attempt to be charming. ‘Indeed we should. Let’s go. I suppose Montana has already started this little gathering…’
