A song of Ice and Fire Roleplay is set in an alternate universe during the timeline of the first book in the ‘A Song of Ice and Fire’ series by George R. R. Martin. Due to the nature of an Alternate Universe the characters you know and love (And hate) from the series will not be present within the RP.
Set nearly three centuries after the Valyrians and House Targaryen land in Westeros, A song of Ice and Fire Roleplay takes place during the reign of King Baelor II Targaryen, great- grandson to King Aegon V. King Baelor II inherited the throne after his older brother was thrown from his horse into a stream they were crossing where he was swept away. Despite never finding the body, King Baelor II was proclaimed the King of the Iron Throne after only a week of searching. Due to King Baelor II being so young when he assumed the mantle of King of the Iron Throne, tensions began to rise between the various Kingdoms that make up the Iron Throne. Soon after King Baelor II assumed the throne Balon Greyjoy rebelled but was quickly brought to heed with the combined forces of the Lannisters and Targaryens. After leading the combined force of Lannisters and Targaryen to take Pyke, King Baelor II’s right as King of the Iron Throne is now firmly cemented into the minds of the rest of Westeros.
