Shussei Bukki (pronounced shoo booki japanese for birth weapon)

Just an anime style story I thought of, this is just a prototype for however far I end up getting

Series 1 The white knight, prologue

In this world, people are born with a sword by their side that comes to being 5 minutes before the birth. The sword has an inscription on it, the name of the weapon it will become. On the owners 10th birthday, the sword changes shape to the weapon the inscription described, this weapon can be anything, a bow, a sword, a gun ect. Each weapon has a unique shape and powers. These are the non-unique abilities every weapon shares.
1 every weapon is weightless to it's owner 2 every weapon is too heavy to carry for anyone but the owner.
3 every weapon will be destroyed if it's owner is killed 4 every owner will be killed if their weapon is destroyed.
Every weapon has a unique ability unless it is part of a set/guild. The most common type is elemental, fire, earth, air, and water. Even if two people had swords with fire powers the exact nature of these fire powers would differ, for instance 1 might shoot flames while another may coat itself in fire. The next is uncommon, near elemental or mixed elemental abilities, usually stronger than basic elemental abilities. For instance lava or lightning would fit into this category. Next is rare abilities. These are completely unique abilities such as gravity or it could be a very powerful version of an elemental ability, such as a gun that shoots 100 fire bullets at a time. And finally Legendary weapons which are so powerful that nothing else can match them.

Notes: this is set in a more ancient like time where the only way to get a gun would be to be born with one.

VERY IMPORTANT. I have not made many characters, no protagonist or antagonist and I want as many character ideas as possible. They can be just weapon ideas or just character ideas and can be pretty brief. Send me a private message and I will try to fit your character in. I will pm you back and tell you if I accept a character and I will make another topic for accepted characters (not all accepted characters will be put into the story, it just means I like your idea and want to put them in my story if possible) I am mostly looking for a protagonist and an antagonist. Please send your ideas

sounds pretty freaking cool =) although it sounds like bleach, those looked like katana half the time. it'd be interesting having a weapon with infinite possibilities of what it is, like the gun or bow concept (not saying that it changes forms, of course). im gonna like the imagination this is gonna see

thanks, I don't have all the characters yet and I'd love to see other peoples character ideas, I'll of course be making my own aswell but I would love to see other peoples ideas that could totally change the story, if I get loads of dark characters it'll be a dark story, if I get loads of funny characters it'll be funny so please anyone send in character ideas and I'll make a page for accepted characters
