| The smoke was clearing up, soon the light of day would reclaim this land. London had seen better days, but Yureka had never seen a day at all, so it was best to hurry back to the Mothership and retreat for now... Nazi doctrine might claim it was cowardly, but cowards live longer than you´d think. "Los jetzt! Die Flanken sichern und vorwärts! Major wartet nicht auf uns!" Yureka commanded her troops, who prompty followed her order and moved back towards the Deus Ex Machina while looking out for the flanks- any time now a Hellsing operative or a rouge vampire could spring out from the side alleys. In that case, they`d be hosed down by gunfire. Looking to the sky, though, a small reflection caught her eye, and her teeth clamped shut. "Scharfschütze! Ausschwärmen, sofort!" She ordered to scatter, while leaping to the side behind a parked car- it might not have the best protection, but it obscured the view on the target- her. | |

| Alisa kept quiet even as she noticed her targets scrambling to get to cover she couldn't make her shot just yet she needed to be patient plus the fact that her enemy knew position served to make things a bit more difficult. Waiting until all her enemies were stationary she scanned over her targets. Most of them seemed like just regular grunts the same blood crazed look in their eye the same tightening grip on their weapons as if waiting to spill blood at any moment. Just looking at them made her sick in the last few hours of fighting she'd witnessed more murder than she could stand she'd seen these monsters rip children to pieces so that they could drink the blood pouring from the limbs. Her finger twitched on the trigger but she closed her eyes calming herself once more. She continued to scan over her targets until finally she noticed one that was different from the others from her elevated position.
This one seemed to wear a different uniform she wasn't bristling with weaponry like her compatriots nor did she have the blood lust in her eyes. Her eyes seemed to hold an air of calmness which meant she was one of two things either an Officer or Support Staff such as a Medic or Engineer. Either way that made her priority #1 On her list. As she focused her cross hair over her target she frowned noticing that her shot was being blocked the woman had chosen her cover well in comparison to her allies. Luckily Alisa had a solution to this issue she slowly grabbed the box magazine for her DSR-50 and ejected it. The round in the chamber was soon to follow as she reached into her knapsack and pulled out a fresh magazine however instead of normal silver full metal jackets it was loaded with a special experiment round developed by Norway and Finland called a Raufoss round.
The Raufoss was designed to penetrate light armor and do damage to whatever was on the other side. She wasn't sure how exactly the round worked due to it's just recent arrival but the concept was basic to understand. The round would penetrate the first surface before coming apart and basically acting as a shotgun blast to the other side with incendiary properties. She loaded the magazine into her rifle and chambered a round scanning her scope across the car until she found her intended target. A smirk spread across her face as she centered her cross hair over the gas cap of the parked car her target hid behind. After adjusting her aim to compensate for the wind and distance she took a deep breath holding it for a moment as she placed her finger over the trigger. And breathed out squeezing the trigger as she breathed out.
Her rifle kicked back hard against her shoulder as her round went flying down range. As the round flew she quickly rolled into cover grabbing her pack and shoving her extra equipment inside. She'd need to relocate fast taking the time to make that shot alone was a risk that she was heavily hesitant on making. She quickly rushed up to the roof of the building luckily for her she was in a residential district meaning most of the roof tops were packed close together. As she reached it she quickly ensured she was out of sight before rushing towards the edge and jumping to another lower roof top. As she hit the surface she tucked her body into a roll before rushing to the roof access of the small flat and climbing down. Every moment wasted was another moment her targets had to move and she didn't want to waste time having to reacquire her target. |

| Yureka`s body twitched the moment the muzzle flash illuminated the scene, a big hole rammed into the side of the vehicle she was hiding behind- right next to her neck. The armor piercing bullet sprayed her with sharp silver sprinkles as the bullet`s head disintegrated the sheet steel it had smashed against, with such a high velocity that the sparks were actually glowing. To her dismay, it also set the interior of the car on fire, no doubt lighting up gas fumes soon. Time to relocate her position. As the shot was sound a hundredth of a second later, her soldiers jumped out of cover and fired their Karabiner 98k rifles at the location the sniper had been, but it was useless- she was already gone, and so was their chance. But she wouldn´t go far. "Ausschwärmen! Findet und vernichtet das Ziel!" She ordered, then came up out of her cover as well, grabbing the MP-41 she had slung around her back. As her soldiers ran and jumped onto buildings to seek her enemy out, Yureka herself calmly walked towards the building Alisa had hidden in, trying to find a clue like a shell caseing or traces of her ammunition. I don´t have time to waste, but there`s no telling where that sniper might hide next. We might just lead him to our flagship if we don´t kill him first. No sooner had she gained some distance, the car gave off a loud poofing sound as vapors from the gas tank blew up- breaking all windows and firing shrapnel everywhere. | |

| Alisa stayed still for a moment as she moved down the staircase leading down to the 4th floor hallway of the multilevel flat she was moving through. The building had been struck badly by a V2 Rocket during Millennium's initial assault but due to it's construction and Britain's preparation after Germany's constant air raids during World War II the building was still for the moment stable. As she moved through the ruined hallway she entered a destroyed bedroom the wall facing the street was completely blow away by the rocket but part of the roof still hung over it supported by the rebar framing of the building. The area had good shadows lessening her chances of being spotted due to scope glare and the shadows were dark enough to conceal her from most normal enemies. Sadly she wasn't fighting normal enemies. She'd realized really quickly how intelligent these monsters could be when they wanted to be. And she also realized how physically superior they were to her they were stronger, faster and had heightened senses something that put her at quite a disadvantage. Which left her only one option to outsmart her enemy before they could get that opportunity to get the drop on her.
As she entered the bedroom she grabbed a blanket covered with ash and draped it over her shoulders and head ensuring that some of the ash got onto her uniform to help make it blend more. She then took a bit of ash and rubbed it onto her face before setting up her rifle in a ruined window sill lowering the bi-pod and ejecting the shell casing from the chamber of her rifle. As the shell casing ejected she grabbed it before it hit the ground and slipped it into a pouch on her belt. Leaving traces wasn't an option for her she needed to be careful. Peeking over the edge of the window sill she glanced down into the street her eyes falling upon a enemy foot soldier investigating a abandoned store. She quickly ducked back down calculating the distance in her mind and taking a moment to feel the wind against her face. After almost a minute she'd figured out a firing solution and set her rifle up in the window chambering a new round into the rifle she looked through her scope. The poor sap she'd chosen as her victim was still looking about the store. She took a deep breath waiting for her moment to fire before she stopped seeing another man enter the scene. A grin spread across her face as she saw the patch upon the man's arm a clear signal. The patch was a Red Cross which universally meant Medic a prime target of opportunity for Alisa. Officially it was illegal to fire on medics during war but luckily she wasn't a soldier she was a mercenary thus making the poor bastard wearing the red cross her new target. She readjusted her aim a bit and took a breath holding it for a moment as she tensed her finger over the trigger.
As she pulled the trigger she heard the sound of a flight of what sounded like jets approaching. She turned her head a bit and her eyes widened as she spotted a flight of British Military Harriers heading her way. Quickly refocusing her attention on her scope she saw the two soldier below looking up into the air the two immediately began firing their weapons at the incoming jets ignoring the obvious uselessness those actions held. Alisa took a deep breath and pulled the trigger as she exhaled. The rifle kicked against her shoulder as the round left the barrel before spiraling into her target. She watched the enemy medic fly back smashing through the glass of the store front. Thinking his comrade had been shot by the plane the soldier below continued firing. Alisa quickly readjusted her sights onto the other man and cycled the bolt of her rifle and taking her second shot. The next shot flew down but a change of wind sent the round into the man's arm instead. She watched as the bullet ripped the man's arm off from the shoulder down and hissed as she watched him begin screaming in German. It was obvious the man was in pain likely from the Silver tips of the rounds. She debated for a moment to take another shot but quickly decided against it before picking up the shell casings from the rounds she'd fired and slipped them into her pouch. She bit her lip as the still hot shell casings burned her fingers a bit but quickly pushed the pain out of her mind as she moved to relocate once more. Post-Millennium Attack London was a Sniper paradise so many positions to conceal oneself and Alisa intended to make the most of it. Keeping the blanket wrapped about her shoulders and over her head like a cloak she slowly moved out of sight and into the darkness of the building once more. |
