Hangover 4- Live Free or Hang Over

The sunlight shining down on her face meant it was time to get up... but the way her head was pounding, Marylin wanted anything but. It felt like someone had shot her straight between the eyes, even though she was still alive to feel it.

Just alcohol, though. Damnit. I could eat sawdust without having a stomach ache, but a few glasses of wine cause -this- to happen?

She groaned loudly, shifting around in the bed... her eyes clentched shut, she refused to accept it was beyond her bedtime period. Steeler would have to accept it too, if he would want to keep his legs. And anything inbetween.

Might be tasty though.

One of her eyes opened up in a slit as she felt a foreign sensation, a rythmic gust of wind- someone`s breath.
Then she closed it again.

Its that guy that looks like Jesus of Nazareth as a wrestler. God damnit, and i`m butt naked under this bedsheet. Of course.

The girl named Advocate rolled over and tried to ignore him for as long ss she possibly could. Maybe she`d fall asleep again....

Ouch. Pretty much the only thought running through Roy's head at the moment. Well that and two question. Where am I? What am I doing here? His head refused to stop throbbing even after he had allowed himself a moment to try and gather his thoughts. So he decided to open his eyes anyway.

Although they were not working their best he still saw much to his surprise someone in his bed! Or perhaps he was in her bed. Ah well. Roy smiled and laughed a little. Then stopped smiling as that hurt his head. There were worse ways to wake.

Roy thought to himself.

The awkward part was that she wasn't awake yet. And if he tried to leave before any of them got embarrassed he would look like a class A dick and philanthropist. But if he woke her up when they could have avoided this entirely then that might be the best choice. Maybe nothing even happened maybe they just crashed on this bed, and....Well then again. He was completely naked so...

Ah well. Better just to let them both wake up a little and approach this maybe when they weren't in so much pain. Roy decided.

But still the question remained. What the frik had he done last night?

Movement from the other side. The breathing became unsteady.
Advocate`s eyes opened again, and she focused her attention on the.... intruder? Owner of this house? Where in the hell was she, anyway? ...that was probably the least important question right now. The other question was, where were her clothes- she didn´t see any on her side of the bed.
No choice then- she turned around to face him- and her red eyes locked at his found out that yes, he was awake.
"Morning." She said, dull and almost disinterested. "Seems like you still have all your balls and parts of your body where they belong. Suppose that means whatever happened yesterday was good for me, too."

Or maybe i passed out before i could eat his liver. Maybe thats it- maybe i just vomited over my clothes and he was being a gentleman and washed them for me.

Not fucking likely, as she noticed he didn`t seem to wear anything neck down.

"Morning." "Seems like you still have all your balls and parts of your body where they belong. Suppose that means whatever happened yesterday was good for me, too."

Ouch Frik. Roy cringed at the sound of that voice. It wasn't a bad voice but nothing sounded pleasant to him right now.

"Indeed." Roy responded. "Let's hope so." He finshed checking over his hands making sure they weren't covered in blood or anything. Nope no blood there. Things could have gone worse then. Or maybe they couldn't have. Well so far....He had no clue.

"Umm excuse me Advocate. Please don't find this insulting but I can't really seem to remember anything that happened last night. Do you know where we are?

Roy was so confused right now. This had never actually happened to him before and he had no idea how to conduct himself or what to say. He could only hope he was being polite and she didn't try to kill him or kick him out or something. He couldn't really guess what she would do. He hadn't known her very long.

Damn it. So he didn´t know either.

"I was hopeing you`d tell me that." Advocate groaned, then sat up, the bedsheet covering most of her body at that point- looking around the room, she found nothing to be familiar. It was kind of spartanic, but in a pleasent way- just a small TV, a door leading to presumably a bathroom, two closets and a small drawer with a mirror on top....

"We`re in a hotel room." She concluded, not looking at him. "How we got here is a mystery, though. And i suppose i took your virginity last night, seeing how our clothes are scattered across the room."

One of her large clawed hands pointed at a pair of underpants, presumably from Roy, which was hanging on a lamp.

"Hmm, So it appears so. But to tell you the truth it might be unwise to assume anything just yet." Roy said. He knew stranger things than this had happened before but not to him. So as such he decided to approach this with extreme caution.

Roy said to her. "As it appears we both have lost our memory that is a little strange. I wonder if we were attacked last night perhaps, I mean I've had hang overs before but nothing like this. Think we should call Steeler?"

Roy responded as he lay there in the bed pondering.

Advocate gave him a look, her red eyes a little piercing.

"Call Steeler and tell him what- that you slept with an undead cyborg after drinking too much? He`d fire you without a second thought."

She licked her lips.

"And that would make you no longer my teammate."

Regardless of the threat she just imposed, Advocate looked around agan and soon found what she was looking for- pants. Taking them between two of her clawed fingers, they disappeared under the bedsheet and soon enough, through unknown magic, she had put them on without ripping them anywhere.
With these prized artifacts on her hips, Advocate pushed the bedsheet away and jumped out of the bed, still anything but decent.

"Hell knows i can`t use a cellphone with my hands, so i wouldn´t know how to call him, anyway."

With that being said, she went to explore the rest of their room.

"Hmmm, Good point." Roy responded. Both to get fired, and then eaten. Although truth be told he thought he might be able to jump out that window before she got him. But would he survive? As it was just sitting there was killing him.

Then Roy Frowning for a second in thought raised on of his eyebrows when he was done. "Waite...Your undead?" Huh. Weird. He looked over the side of the bed he was on and saw to his relief his pants. "There you are." He slid off the bed and proceeded to dress himself.

"Then we can't call Steeler. Or rather won't. Maybe....we should retrace our steps or something?"

Advocate groaned a little as he mentioned the undead thing, leaning against a wall as she discovered there wasn´t much to this room, other than what she saw right now.
"Not undead as in vampire, or ghoul- undead as in resurrected with machines. So keep your guns were i can see them." That last bit sounded like an order, the dominance driven aspect of her coming to the surface.

She started to think hard. What happened yesterday?

"...I remember... a mission. We were on an assignment, with five others.... They found a werewolf, i think, or some other rare breed of supernatural fucks. Can`t recall that exactly.. some fast thing with claws and teeth, and a bad breath. Then there was blood. Lots of it. "

Marylin clentched her teeth as a spike of pain roared through her head.

"Thats all i´ve got for the moment. And tell me if you find my bra."

"Wonder what the frik we were trying to celebrate then." Roy responded. It didn't sound like it had been a good day.

So she was a cyborg. Interesting. That would explain the horns, and the skin, and the eyes. Roy looking to his left shouted "heads up!" Throwing her her desired item. Getting up he stretched himself a little to relieve some of his stiffness.

He flinched as he did this and sat down again. Not a good idea he decided holding his head.

"Well, I'm cool with whatever you want to do so lead the way." Roy told her. He meant it to. He had no idea what to do and anything she might suggest would be just as good as his. Besides she seemed like the type to try and take control anyway.

"As to the guns, If you see them give me a shout."

"Probably a mission well done. We`re still alive so maybe it wasn´t our blood."
Catching the bra in midair, Marylin stared at the wall for a few seconds.... then decided it was time to head to the bathroom and get washed up.
Some nice, cold water into her face would work wonders... hopefully.

After a couple of liters, though, it got old, so she headed back to the main room and got working on her bra... it wasn`t easy to close it with two huge skeleton claws for hands, which is why she rarely took it off.
"Once we found all our stuff we`ll head back to base and never tell a word about this to anyone." She ordered Roy, looking at him in the corner of her eye. "Maybe someone there can tell us what we were doing... what happened after that isn`t important right now. I`m physically incapable of pregnancy and you can still stand on both of your legs, so lets say it was a nice night and be over with it."

The thin material slipped through her fingers, and the bra landed on the ground again, causing her to curse out.

It finally struck Roy that this must be the single most embarrassing moment of his life. The funny part was is that he had absolutely know idea what he had or hadn't done.

"Ya...sure, Sounds like a good plan." He especially liked the never speak about this again part. Quickly dressing himself he also found some of his possessions. Including one of his Glocks. Sweet.

He wasn't entirely sure about it being a good night either but so far so good. "Although I just feel like this isn't going to be that simple to get over with." Roy said almost with a dark sense of foreboding. "But ah well that's probably just me."

In a small kitchen adjacent to the small bedroom currently inhabited by two members of America's VWAT, a man stirred. He lie there, his suit coat and vest long forgotten along with his tie and his dress shirt sleeves rolled up past his elbows. Various stains marred the white dress shirt and his blond hair was even more of a mess than usual. The unofficial head of the Russo family looked to be on the wrong side of his own hangover and yet he shouldered it well. The mobster just laid there, calmly eating french fries while sprawled out on the kitchen floor. Where had the fries come from? Who knew, they had been a salty, yet cold, blessing to Ladd as he awoke there. Briefly wondering what had happened to the rest of his suit and team following the post mission celebration, Ladd was distracted by the sound of movement in the next room over. It didn't matter who it was, Steeler obviously didn't need them back just yet so as far as he was concerned all that mattered was sitting back to enjoy his left over snack until the dull ache in his skull subsided.

"Ugggggh, God damnit. Roy, give me a hand here." Advocate commanded, turning his back at him with both of her hands holding one end of the bra strap. "Either its broken, or i´m just too dumb to close this thing anymore. You know how to do that stuff, right? ....nevermind, just staple it on or something."

Interestingly, she heard some noise in the room next to them, a small kitchen barely big enough for any decent meal, as she had discovered.. what she didn´t see until now was that a man was lying there, in a white suit that seemed to be stained by... something. Blood, possbily, or maybe curry sauce.... or both.
"Russo, that you?" She called out, kicking her empty gun holster, which was still lying uselessly on the ground, at him. "The fuck are you doing here? Was this a threesome or something?"

"Uhhhh, can't say I ever have but I'll give it a shot." Said Roy awkwardly. Man this situation keeps getting weirder and weirder. Then she mentioned Russo. Oh frik, a threesome? Seriously? He didn't even think he could get that drunk. He was supposed to be catholic! Then he calmed himself. There wasn't actually any evidence to prove without a doubt he had slept with anyone much less two people.

He wondered over to advocate and was surprisingly successful in in helping only taking about ten seconds. After that he started to back away as he called out.

"So Russo. Do you remember what happened last night?"

Although seeing as how a loud noise wasn't good for anybody. Before he spoke he went over to the kitchen and leaning in the doorway he looked where he found a pair of sunglasses he had never seen before.

As he spoke he took the glasses and stuffed them in his chest pocket.

Still chewing on his french fries, the mobster grumbled as the two in the other room noticed his presence. It was the demon chick and the hippie soldier. Too bad that old bandage face had bitten it back in Chicago. Guy was ugly as all hell but at least he was fun to talk to. Ignoring the gun holster kicked in his direction, Russo reached across the floor and grabbed a fallen frying pan containing very cold bacon and promptly tossed it at the twosome, not really bothering to steady his aim. "Let's see...got into town...killed that thing...went out to get drinks...then..." Ladd sat up and massaged his scalp, trying to remember the rest of the night. "Ah hell, beats me. Something about a casino I think." Rising to his feet, he gripped the counter top to steady himself and brushed off the salt from his early morning snack. "And pope down with that threeway crap ya paranoid bastards. I don't care how much I had last night I'm not about to crawl into bed with a couple of nut jobs like you two."

Advocate lazily dodged the bacon, then got hit in the face with the frying pan, her nose bleeding for a second or two. She didn´t seem to notice, her nose felt rather pleasent now.

"Hey, who`s a nutjob, you psychopath? You shot your girlfriend with a deerslug on your first date! And watch where you throw that bacon, someone might get hurt!"

Waving her enormous fist at him, Advocate finally picked up her jacket and put it on, the fabric expanding a bit in the process to let her hands through. Something was missing on her attire, but she couldn´t quite place it. Ah well. Retrieving the gun holster from Russo, all that was left was her weapons and she´d be good to go.

"Hold on, why the hell did we go to a casino? Steeler doesn`t pay me enough for that shit."

"Glad to hear it Ladd!" Roy responded as he ducked under some bacon. Although Roy thought as he caught two pieces may as well. He started munching on the cold meat and it felt good to have something in his stomach. hmmm, Casino?

Roy checked his wallet and he had three thousand dollars in it. He looked up with a huge grin on his face. "Yep. We went to a casino. Or robbed a bank." Roy finished showing off his many hundreds. "Hahaha! Don't know what I did yesterday but I think I should try it again tonight."

It appeared he had been quite active last night.

Ladd simply shrugged at Advocate's continued questions and Roy's newly discovered monetary gains. Why on earth did these two think he had any more answers than any of them did? Unfortunately, he'd already checked his pockets and his cash was long gone. Evidently his luck hadn't been as good as Roy's but he was able to come up with a slight lead. Reaching into his pants pocket, he tossed a book of matches to the two other VWAT members. The matches were from a casino known as the "American Dream" (however coincidental that may be). "First off, she had it coming. Girl had the nerve to answer her phone at dinner. No manners. Second, I got no clue why we decided it was a good idea but we obviously went there. Personally, I got no interest in losing any more money. Those places'll rob an arm and a leg if ya ain't careful ya know."

Advocate groaned at the horrible pun concerning her physical state, but decided to go along with it.
"Before you say it, Russo, i didn´t lose mine because i`ve been gambling. Also why the hell is my wallet missing?"
Asking this, she stared at the small chain ususally connecting her wallet to the inside of her jacket. Someone had either torn it off, or she gave it to someone. Likely the later.
"Nevermind. Not like i need a passport or anything."
Taking a match, Advocate spent her time lighting the remains of last nights dinner- something that vaguely resembled Pasta, if a blind, handicapped man made it-, setting it on fire in the sink. Either it`d go out, or the room would be ablaze by the time they were leaving.

"You know what guys? I think we should kick the receptionists ass until he tells us more." She proposed, finding her revolver with five spent cases in the chambers- in the trash can.

"Hmm yes the receptionist. But I think we may have a little more luck not getting arrested if we simply...ask nicely?" Roy responded.

Looking down at Advocates struggle. Roy picked up some matches and jokingly said. "Here let me help you with that sweet cheeks." Lighting one he quickly used it to start a fire and prepared himself to dive out of any blow or strike she would send his way.

"The receptionist eh? Sounds like it could be fu-" Ladd was suddenly cut off as the cell phone in his pocket began to ring. Grabbing it and bringing it to his ear, Ladd listened to the call for a moment before smiling and putting the phone away again. "Welp, count me out ya pansies. Sounds like Teatime got himself kidnapped by ninjas. I know right?" he said, shrugging at the ridiculous nature of it. Irregardless, the gangster adjusted the sleeves of his dress shirt and strolled towards the door with his hands on his pockets. However, he paused as he stepped past Advocate and Roy, noticing something on the back of the soldier's neck. "Oye, soldier boy. Since when have you had a tattoo on the back a yer neck?" the psychopath asked, trying to figure out just what the tattoo was supposed to be. Was that...a map of Vegas? Why was there a small "X" in the center of it?


OOC: I took some liberties with the tattoo bit. If you're not cool with it Roy let me know and I'll edit it out.

Advocate wiped off her revolver before skipping it back into its holster, before widening her eyes at Russo´s comment.
"Ninjas, huh? Sounds fun. Always wanted to fight something invisible.... that totally rules out the receptionist. Ey, Roy, we`re gonna kill some ninjas, got that?!"
She ordered back towards the guy she may or may not had sex with earlier. Even if he didn´t do anything to her, she was gonna keep him on a leash from now on.

Ninjas! Did anything normal happen last night! Then as Ladd came over and mentioned his neck. He realized that no nothing normal did happen last night. "The frik, You've got to be kidding me." He said rubbing his neck.

Then as the Advocate told him what they were going to do Roy responded.

"Well it appears I don't have much a choice if both of you are going to go that way anyway. But when we're done can we figure out what the heck this tattoo is supposed to mean?"

Roy asked still rubbing the back of his neck.

(Hope I can jump in on this... if not, just ignore me or something.)

The three familiar voices had awoken the tall figure, wherever he was at the moment. The Russian found himself stuck in a tight, dark space. The door rattled from his efforts to push it open before finally finding the door handle. Bayman fell forward, hitting the ground with a faint "thud" from the closet concealing him until now. The recent VWAT contract operative rolled onto his back due to the inability to put forth the effort to do much else in the particular moment he found himself. The ex-spetsnaz glanced upward (from his point of view); staring at the other three VWAT in the room, which were upside down from his point of view. Bayman finally drew enough strength to stand, letting out a annoyed groan. "What the fuck happened last night..." He held his head slightly, the throbbing in his head causing his vision to get blurry before refocusing itself. For some reason, he couldn't find the answers in his own head, the memories like a distant dream; distorted and fragmented. Slowly standing, he held himself straight. "Wait... So we went gambling or something...? I don't think we have the budget for that... Maybe if we look around, we might find more answers..." The Russian's muttered as his eyes fell upon the duffle bag he had with him from their previous assignment. Bayman walked towards the bag as steadily as he could, slumping to one knee upon grasping it. A single hand unzipped it, revealing the contents. "What-" The former spetsnaz cut himself off. "Why is this in here?!" The figure with the shaved head pulled out a bag holding what looked like a white powder inside. His attention shifted back to the bag, feeling something grab onto him. "And why is there a sloth in the bag?!"

(OOC I have no problem with you joining but we most likely won't finish this up. Just kinda something to do for a day or two according to my understanding.)
