Physical appearance: Reidh has bronze'ish, tan, dense skin. His eyes are a light amber and his hair is red, most standing on end in wild spikes. His hair is coarse and thick to the touch, and is virtually impossible to get a comb through, quite literally. He stands at six feet and two inches, is tall and very athletic, with dense musculature.

Clothing of choice: Reidh likes to dress rather flashily with cloaks, capes, boots, gloves, and the like. He often wears high collars, various necklaces, pendents and brooches, and has fancy embroidery on all of his garments. Each one is densely layered with heavily reinforced leather that is not only resistant to sharp objects, but is significantly more resistant to blunt force.

Weaponry of choice: Reidh prefers to fight barehanded, relying upon his wits and might to keep alive in the throes of battle. He has been known to occasionally dabble in a polearm or bo staff, or other weapons that have the basic pole-style shape. He currently only carries a retractable bo staff on him at the current.

Race: Special Human

Abilities: Reidh is an expert of unarmed combat, proficient in Ninjutsu and Capoeira, while still studying various other Martial Art forms. He has the innate ability to grow stronger, faster and more agile after each fight he survives, even moreso if he got badly beaten up or damaged. After recuperating, if he were to face off with a version of him identical to how he was before his last battle, the new him would find it fairly easy to defeat the old him. In addition to growing stronger, his muscle, bone and overall density increases, making him more durable than before.

Reidh's physical might and combat prowess rivals that of a Vampire's as he accumulates Slaughter Points, although his regenerative abilities are halved (for a Vamp with his number of Slaughter Points), and he must eat monsterous amounts of food in order to keep his metabolism steady. (this has to be RP'd out frequently, else it doesn't count, and he will temporarily go down in Category -1 per 72 hours his eating isn't RP'd, at least until it's done, at which point it will recover +1 Cat per post of him eating).

Although Reidh is competitive and intense when battling, he adheres to the code of Conduct for most Martial Artists, where restraint and discipline are important, and to avoid excess fighting. Therefore, unless someone picks a fight with him (or wants to spar/fight him), he won't do battle.

TL;DR OOC Edition
Reidh's physical evolution is his access to the Vampire's 'Category' System, although (RP-wise) he earns it with training and the abuse his body endures, instead of drinking blood and consuming souls (which is why his Regeneration is 1/2 that of theirs). His remaining this strong will require RPs of him eating large amounts of food, and his author (me) being active enough on the boards to avoid his being weakened by my inactivity.

He also has the ability to channel his Chi, his Living Energy or Chakra (many translations), which allows him to strike a foe more gently with a flat hand, and deal the damage directly to their internal systems, although that requires getting (and staying) close enough to risk getting hit with tremendous force by the foe's weapon(s) or their own special attack(s).

He will be a very high maintenance character to upkeep, but will give the author (me) a chance to play the "growth through hard work and determination" angle.

Personality: Reidh is very ambitious and driven, desiring as much combat knowledge and skill as he can possibly accumulate in his lifetime. Despite his highly mischievous and feral nature when interacting with others (giving him a very chaotic-seeming personality), he's also very modest about his skills and abilities, often opting out of fights that he could easily win, because he has no desire to just hurt people. He has an emotional and passionate nature as well, much of his focus and mental training going towards maintaining control over his emotions, and preventing his intense sentiments from interfering with his daily life, as well as his fights. Biography:
Reidh is unique in that his mother was attacked by a Vampire. As her physical body began to die, and an Ambulance (called by passersby who saw the 'lunatic' attack her) got her to the hospital, labor was immediately induced as her body began to reject the baby, as well as life itself.

By some miracle, the child was born healthy, if not premature.

Reidh grew up weak and feeble, requiring the aid of leg and knee braces. At some point, the mysterious doctor, who had adopted him after delivering him in the hospital, ended up having children of his own and no longer wanted Reidh, selling him to a sketchy man dressed in black who offered a pretty penny for this 'enfeebled child'.

This man, with his newly purchased child, was part of an underground organization that was experimenting with Super Soldier research, and saw Reidh - an orphan whose records and Death Certificate were dudged by the doctor who had delivered him - as the perfect guinea pig for their more diabolical experiments, splicing human, Vampire and Werewolf DNA in order to enhance certain genes and traits already present in each Human's OWN DNA.

Although all other test subjects had failed, Reidh somehow absorbed the very nature of the DNA he was embedded with each time, although with excruciating pain and repeated blackouts. Days, weeks, months were all a blur as Reidh's consciousness swam with odd images, sounds and the feeling as though he were being subjected to a living hell, all five senses pushed to the point where anyone else would've literally went brain dead from the sheer amount of shock and trauma their nervous system was exposed to.


In the end, as a product, Reidh was reborn. When he finally got a chance to look in the mirror, he was surprised to see those thin, frail legs of his were now like that of an olympic runner, whereas his entire physical body was the image of a person who had spent their entire life working out, lifting heavy weights, and not packing on even a single ounce of fat.

Although no record exists of what happened in between then and now, the truth of it all is that Reidh ended up training as the scientists indicated, growing steadily stronger and stronger and stronger. Even long after his physical body showed no further signs of muscle growth, he continued being able to lift more and more, run faster and faster, and show heightened brain activity (although his smarts ONLY manifested in combat and workout situations).

He finally, accumulating enough strength that he felt it safe, turned against the scientists, turning to them one by one and killing them all, seeing them as little more than the slave traders who'd bought him and subjecting him to endless hells for an indefinite period of time, unending. The devestation he wrought upon the facility resulted in it being utterly and completely demolished, before he finally disappeared off the grid, leaving the Country's Military to eventually find out about the site, gain very limited information about some of the experiments being done, then scorch the place to remove any evidence of it having ever existed.


In the present, Reidh travels the world, finding strong martial artists and fighters and testing his might against them, and often doing these for money in order to feed his enormous, ravenous appetite.

Reidh, other than his uncanny physique and combat prowess, shows no real signs of being anything but human (albeit one with an unusually low fat content), and despite his seeming to have very few booksmarts, shows a remarkable ability to learn patterns in combat others might miss almost instantly, and find ways to penetrate his foe's defenses without having to overly analyze or calculate as most have to.

RP sample:

Reidh stared at the three men standing across from him in the dark, nearly vacant bar. They each had a different expression on their faces, ranging from annoyance to boredom to exhilaration. Running a hand through his spikey red hair, the tan skinned man sighed, leaning back against the bar counter, reaching over and grabbing the tall beer glass he'd been drinking his Heineken out of.

"Look, fellas, I'd rather not do this right now," he said quietly, raising the glass to his lips and gulping down it's contents loudly. Upon emptying it, in what was likely record time, he lowered it, and gave the three men a pleading look.

"I like to fight as much as the next guy, but I would much rather not-"

Battle Sample
Before he could even finish his sentence, the angry-looking thug with a mohawk charged at him, brass knuckles at the ready on both hands, and began swinging. Although most humans probably would have found the punches to be hard to dodge, they were a bit easier for Reidh. He could see the punches as though they were being flung by some punk teenager on the street: fast, not not THAT fast. He veered to the left and the right, dodging three of the sharp hooks directed for his face, before catching the man's right hook in his hand, gripping the fist, then twisting the arm around until Reidh was standing behind the man, restraining the thug with that arm twisted behind the back.

With a grunt, Reidh leaned forward, and shoved the man towards his buddies with his shoulder, releasing the thug's arm so he wouldn't incur any unnecessary damage, and he reached for his beer glass again.

"Now, I'll warn you again. I would rather not fight ANY of you. But if you make me, I will not hold back."

He tilted the glass up, then stopped, staring blankly as he realized he'd already finished it's contents, then he sat it back down, a disappointed look on his face.

"Tell ya what. Get me another beer, and I'll tell everyone you kicked my ass. I'll even rough myself up a bit to make it convincing. Deal?"

I want you to flesh out the personality more aside from decribing it only in a few words.  Also, explain these power up after each fight thing.  Lets say he is goes up against a vampire  who is faster than him and gets beaten, does he become as fast as the last opponent or is it like oh, I shaved off 10 seonds off of my mile run type deal?

Also the splicing part of teh Bio, there is no credible lore suggesting hybrids of the supernatural.  I am going off of classical and most current. Only evidence, to my knowledge, of it is in the Underworld Series, and that is not enough to back it.  It is very popular belief that Youcan't be both, one rejects the other which is why in virtually every game that allows you to be a vampire or werewolf, you can't have both.  Skyrim for example.  You can be a werewolf and become a vampire via the Dawn Guard expansion, but your lycanthropy would be purged from your body.  or if your a vampire in the normal game, and you become werewolf the lycanthropy purges the vampirism.

When the genes were spliced, it wasn't to make the subject either a Vampire or a Werewolf. It was simply to splice genes correlating with different traits (like sense of smell, hearing, sight) from one, and traits the other possessed (super strength, stamina) from the other, and so forth.

The 'hybrid genes' refers to the genes themselves, not the context of 'genes of a hybrid'. Reidh was 'tainted' by the Dark nature of his mother's manifesting affliction, but he's not like...a 'Werepyre' or anything (Battleon AdventureQuest reference, anyone? lol).

um your ability,  sure you explained how and why but you said the strenght correlates with teh amount of slaughter points.  so what how I am reading it is that, you get stronger in 2 ways.  1 by surviving fights.  2. bye gaining slaughter points.  What is it and is it the same amount of slaughter points as we have set up for the vampire race advancement??

I'm not sure what "dense skin" is supposed to mean. Is he the Rhino?


He has no real facial detail, either. He's got eyes, but nothing else.

Could we get a sample outfit to go with this? And how is leather reinforced? Is there just a bunch of layers or is there random bits of metal sticking out of it?

You realize your Zenkai is going to be useless after the Frieza Saga, right? Not sure how I feel about this either, since it sounds like an easy ace to A level abilities and beyond after getting your ass kicked a couple times. Ninjustu and capoeira are a strange combination of fighting styles, too. I'll be looking to the biography for help.

This seems kind of confusing and unnecessary. You can easily write yourself into a corner with this. There's no real need to put yourself on a time limit.

So, you're getting a Slaughter Point every time you stub your toe? I don't think I approve of that. Also, don't really think you being Neji makes a lot of sense, either.

Again, why? And how did he learn his two fighting styles? Also last part is an (somewhat moddish) ability.

Sample has no conversation. You have to have a back and forth; you can't just be the only one talking the whole time.
