Yumiko Takagi [DONE]

Name: Yumiko/Yumie Takagi

Age: 28

Gender: Female

Physical appearance: Yumiko’s most notable feature is her hair, cascades of well-kept dark black that curls slightly going to the top of her bust. Without her hooded cowl on her hair seems to go out of control, the rest of her body is shaved. She finds that such a little thing as underarm hair as unclean and disgusts the immaculate nun, she wears no make-up though due to that being seen as an unnecessary frivolity. Though through her plain frame glasses, her doe like brown eyes can be seen, her gaze showing a glimmer of Yumiko’s innocence. She’s rather short and at five foot two inches her legs are what make up most of her body, she has a thin lithe hourglass figure with porcelain white unblemished skin held tight over lithe muscle. Yumiko normally walks with a slight hunch to her figure, taking two inches off of her height. Though on the inside of her thighs; and around her abdomen she has numerous scars and bruises engraved into her flesh, most of them afflicted by her mother when she was in a fit of rage.
Yumie: When Yumie takes over Yumiko’s demeanour changes, she draws herself to her full height while remaining in a position to move quickly. With the only flaw in her posture being a tendency to have a slightly bowed head Yumiko seems to gain a few inches with her presence becoming stronger, her face becomes hard and shows grit and determination not shown on the face of Yumiko. Yumie also has a tendency of pushing her chest out slightly more, showing in the way she moves; also in the way she seems to tower over others with her dominating stance despite her height. This also betrays a greater comfort and much greater confidence in herself as a woman, whereas her past has lead Yumiko to repress and hide her figure Yumi revels in it. Her eyes become half lidded, and their once wide eyed gaze becomes narrow and hawk like.

Clothing of choice: A customary nun’s habit, complete with frilly bloomers and petticoats adorns her small frame, the navy blue adds to the look of innocence that seems to fill her submissive demeanour. It falls to her ankles, feet covered in what appear to be some sort of comfortable combat boot—a simple leather lace-up shoe to give extra support to her feet during the long hours of looking after the children. Another notable feature is her glasses, it seems that Yumiko needs them yet as soon as Yumie takes over they come off. Underneath her clothes though she wears thigh stockings and a garter belt, just like the non-godly Yumie hides underneath the quiet and shy Yumiko; the nun takes delight in showing the metaphor physically, even if others would find it uncouth and most of the church wouldn’t approve.

Weaponry of choice: Yumie's preferred weapon of choice (much to Yumiko's unease, as she has to carry it as well), is the exact opposite of most Iscariot within the Armed Priest Corpse who choose firearms. She carries an ōdachi (Large/Great sword), which is a type of long traditionally made Japanese sword. The length of which being 165 cms (65 inches) in length, the blade being 5 foot even at 60 inches, something Yumie herself has no trouble drawing from its sheath in the blink of an eye and using it one-handed with almost no effort at all. Made from a delicate mixture of low and high carbon content, the blades been given a malleable aptness in battle, allowing it to absorb more impacts along its body, but also allows it to sustain a razor sharp edge during combat. Her sword is still, however, able to become dulled with prolonged use in combat, like all bladed weapons. This is something Yumie takes very little concern with in battle (outside of battle she will take proper care of the blade by sharpening it afterwards) as she just resorts to her own brute strength to cleave in-half whatever enemy is stupid enough to stay in her way. The blade itself also has no need to be blessed, as Yumies vicious attacks almost always leave the enemy in two-pieces (or more) or headless.

Race: Human

Abilities: Like her partner, Heinkel Wolfe, Yumie is considered one of the top three agents within the Iscariot Ranks. However, unlike her partner who specialized in small firearms, Yumie's area of expertise lie with close-quarters combat, preferring the use of her Odachi to cut down masses over anything else. Normally, this is frowned upon as the use of melee weapons against the supernatural puts that person at a drastic disadvantage, Yumie, however, isn't even within eyesight of that category. Specializing in Iaijutsu (the art of drawing the Japanese sword) techniques, noteworthy ones being Shimabara Battouryuu and Tougen Battouryuu, her sword skills can be considered superhuman; being at such a level that a Iaijutsu Technique from Yumie can take out multiple enemies if they are within her swords reach. Her adeptness with her blade has put several supernatural creatures out of their misery (some even before they realized it).

In fact, Yumies speed is so incredible that she can keep up with, and even out-do mid-class vampires, as well as bullet-time gunfire from multiple full-auto weapons at once and escape unscratched, even once dodging a bullet that was a few centimeters from her eye. The Berserker's speed - especially when using one of her signature drawing techniques - makes her appear as blurred, distorted smudge compared to the surroundings, being so fast that several people actually misinterpret her speed as teleportation (putting her speed at the very top-edge of Cat.C stats by forum rank). On top of this amazing speed in which she utilizes to her full extent to overwhelm her enemy, she's also gifted with insane strength as a Berserker with Iscariot training. Yumie has the the power in a single arm to cleave enemies in half with a simple swing of her Odachi; the enemies can even be clad in full equipment and vests and her arm strength proves superior, even with the blade growing dull enough to not be able to cut properly, she can easily sever limbs (putting her strength at high F, with the ability to surge into the .D stats area for a short while, stretching out this strength for six posts before needing to rest her arms.)  

Organization: Iscariot

Personality: Yumie suffers from MPD, the personalities are separate and though they do not interact they are aware of each other. Yumiko and her other side are polar opposites, so naturally they do not enjoy interacting in her sub consciousness. Though Yumiko does realise that Yumie is necessary being in order to punish vampires, she hates the fact that they have to share one body. While Yumie knows that although Yumiko is seemingly weak, then she needs her body and her mind to be able to “live.”
Yumiko: Kind, docile, timid, shy, and easily flustered. These are words that easily come to mind when people describe the nun, she never has a bad word to say about anyone and although she can be firm when it comes to the orphans she normally is relaxed on discipline. She enjoys tending plants; although she is quite bad with them and has a habit of trying to do too much to them and killing them. Overall though, the nun’s greatest quality is her childlike innocence; she always tries to see the best in people and even when that’s hard or impossible she does her best to get the best out of the children in her care. She doesn’t enjoy handing out punishment and is in no way a sadist, but when she has to be stern she has a habit of failing and instead resorting to a chat with the offenders about why they need to change. Though when put under extreme stress, Yumie comes out to play, and usually a sword as well. Though she is practically a child in an adults body then Yumie does have a strong aspect to her personality, whenever the orphans are involved with something she is never willing to back down on matters of their safety. She wants the very best for them and will stop at nothing to ensure they get the best she can get for them, when combined with her strong faith in God this proves to be a dangerous combo.
Yumie: Her dark other side is her greatest strength and weakness, Yumie has a one track mind and finds that words merely get in the way of her continuing mission to destroy all heathens. Yumie sees all vampires as prey; being less than animals to her she has no trouble with cutting them up in the most horrific manner possible. Her faith is saw in a more cynical way than with Yumiko does, she sees it as her duty to kill Vampires but finds that the faith demonising non Catholic’s is rubbish. Though she doesn’t voice this whenever she’s in control she still thinks it, and this is what usually brings Yumie and her counterpart into arguments in their sub conscious. She is still devout despite all this, obeying the bible to default and leaving none unpunished for their sins. Yumie does take liberties with her works though, finding that there is no reason for her not to enjoy battle. When out of battle though, Yumie is crude and though respectful to those outranking her she doesn’t coddle or get friendly with any other agents except Heinkel; whose strength she respects, though she respects little else. Yumie though has one true purpose to her outside of combat, to protect Yumiko; she was created by the distressed nun as a means of protection and as a way to cast off all of the darker sides of her personality. Because of this and her purpose then Yumie gets protective over her host, killing all those that would mean Yumiko harm and through Yumiko, Yumie.

Biography: Yumiko was born to a hooker in central Tokyo, the product of rape by a member of the local Yakuza Yumiko’s mother always blames the child early on for her failures. Because of her money troubles; and the fact that she had at least some morals about taking life the mother never had the child aborted. Early on in life Yumiko had it rough, her mother despised her and her origins were the talk of all the adults at her school. While as she got older the other children found out and began to bully her for that, though her mother’s profession earned her a bad reputation with a number of the younger male teachers.

Yumiko first experienced violence from her mum at the age of five, when she wouldn’t stop crying over some small matter she felt the back of her mother’s hand three times to shut her up. The beatings became frequent and gradually worse with age, the mother finally taking out all her frustration on the girl. Her father came back from time to time to take his pleasure from who he regarded as “his personal slave,” and during those small visits he would talk to Yumiko and make sure the product of his seed was doing ok. Though he showed little interest in the girl in general there were codes of conduct, and he felt that he had to at the very least provide for his “spawn.” The nicest thing he ever did for her was get her lessons at a local Kendo school, he himself was an accomplished swordsman and usually used the blade Yumiko now carries to settle more serious scores. It was where the growing girl spent most of her free time training, in order to try and stay sane and let out all of her hurt and pent up emotion in a constructive way. It was also the one place where her mother couldn’t touch her; she was safe to an extent there under the watchful eye of the Sensei, a devout catholic and sword master who had earned a reputation of being one of the best.

It was at the age of eight though, when one of the male teachers at the school started to groom the young girl. The fact she seemed vulnerable and that the situation at home was reduced to gossip made her a target, he built up over a period of months and then he eventually began to touch and do bad things to her. The child was left with deep psychological trauma and lots of doubt as to what really happened, though Yumiko’s mother soon found out what was going on when she forced her to tell her what was wrong with her. Rather than a cry of outrage that her child had been hurt in such a way she took it out on her little girl, blaming her and calling her a number of choice names, mainly “whore” and other similar slanderous names she began to cut her daughter. Telling her that it was her own fault for attracting his attention, it started out on her stomach. Yet soon spread to her inner thigh’s when questions were asked, it was merely passed off as a strange accident and the abuse continued.

Things changed though when the teacher’s abuse got too much, eventually the constant pain from her mother and what the teacher did to the young child got too much. One her twelfth birthday she returned home one day to find her father taking his pleasure in the front room, her mother flew off the handle and broke off the relations to go for her daughter. Yumiko blacked out, and Yumie awakened for the first time. With a knife from the kitchen draw the girl slaughtered her mother and father with abandon, and then when Yumiko once again woke up she ran. Claiming her father’s sword she ran to her Kendo School, the catholic sensei guessed what had happened by the blood. He listened to the child’s problems, and with agreement that they had deserved it he had the child sent to Anderson’s orphanage with a fake passport and a fake story to the police to get them off the trail of the child killer. It was at the orphanage she received a proper upbringing, and it was also there that she learnt her faith. Eventually she joined Iscariot as a teen, her faith and wanting to punish the unrighteous had grown to a fire that hasn't dimmed at all.
(the sensei was an Iscariot scout looking for prospective members, when he saw the small girl and heard what she had done he thought it was an opportunity to give another weapon to Iscariot and God)

RP sample: Yumiko Takagi stepped through the streets of London with a scared look on her face, Yumie wasn’t coming out to play yet. The nun got scared of things quite easily when alone, her timidity was great. She flinched as she heard the ruckus sounds of men leaving a pub, they drew closer and lewd comments were made towards the woman of God. This was frightening, this was where Yumie was going to decide to come out and play for the first time in a few days. She had abandoned Yumiko after they had argued one night the other week, left her with her emotional baggage and those horrible memories. Yet Yumie wasn’t going to allow her host to get hurt no matter what, the glasses came off and the other half spoke up.
“How about some fun Miss Nun?” one of the bolder men asked with an insincere wink as he blew a kiss.
“Please, I don’t want trouble, just leave me be” she looked down at her feet; Yumiko was used to dealing with children, not such obscene language and such horrible drunk men. Yumiko stepped back a few paces, her hand clutching her chest. “Just go away”
The men advanced another of the small group near the back walked slowly towards her, he grinned, and with the decadence and lust plainly in his eyes he spoke. “Just let us have a little bit of a look, I bet you enjoy this sort of thing don’t ya?!” his breath reeked of alcohol and he was only a student by the looks of things. Though he was big, and looked like he was used to getting his way. Yumiko got dizzy, she blacked out and fell asleep as she felt another presence.
[I]Yumie looked at them; the glasses were placed in a case before going back inside one of her pockets. The nun scowled, with thunderous brows she faced each in turn. “You want nothing of what I have boys” Yumie stated absent minded, one approached her and decided to try and grab her in an attempt to “liven things up.” The blade came out then, a sparkling shimmering wave of light as it swept through him as he approached her. He didn’t have time to scream before his body hit the floor, his friends tried to charge her. With cutting and hacking the nun became a blur, throwing the blade about like a rag doll she soon had the men dismembered. She was covered in blood, and now was a time to go ahead and try to find that damned vampire.
