Have you see the OVA or read the manga series of Hellsing? If so how far have you gotten? I’ve seen all of the OVA, but it has been a while. I plan on watching it again to brush up on information.

Personality:
When Sefton was younger his disposition leaned more towards aggressive behavior. While this did not always include violence, the option was never far from mind. As a boy he used his imposing height and size to intimidate other children as well as most adults. What his physical stature didn't accomplish, he could usually cover with a particular turn of phrase that left very little to the imagination of what was about to happen if someone didn't see things his way.
As the years have progressed so has Sefton's physical might and colorful threats. It would not be out of place for the man to incessantly taunt his opponents in a sanctioned match, the end game always being to put them on tilt and cause them to make the slightest mistake. This is a trait that he still uses in combat and, during the most recent years, in normal conversation due to his slight...problem.
Having been in so many fights and taken his fair share of blows to the head by humans, FREAKs, and vampires alike, Sefton has become a bit “off kilter.” By flying into bouts of rage at the drop of a hat, fits of uncontrollable laughter at mundane situations or things, and bonding quickly to someone only to sever that bond for whatever reason are just a few of the traits that make him an extremely chaotic and deadly person to interact with.
While not possessing the most tactically sound mind, Sefton is no idiot. He can be brash and sometimes reckless during a fight but, most times, he will look before he leaps. The man is very aware of his mortality and will weigh his options before going into a difficult fight and avoid biting off more than he can chew. A few times in the past his “condition” has caused him to deviate from his usual caution, but these incidents have yet to occur during his stay with V.W.A.T.

Biography:
Sefton was born in Whitechapel in East London thirty-six years ago to Grady and Martha Yates. He was raised in that area as well as Colchester, Essex and attended Stanway Comprehensive School where he boxed and wrestled briefly until he dropped out to join the local underground fight circuit at the age of sixteen. While not necessarily always the victor, Sefton’s reputation and popularity grew due to his age, tenacity, and how utterly violent his undisciplined brawling was.
Initially the matches he took part in were only until the opponent yielded or was left unconscious. Of course, there were occasions where men and women were killed and those specific incidents caused Sefton to want more out of his fights. Eventually the brawler left traditional fist-fighting behind for infinitely more fatal modern gladiatorial matches which is where he settled on his favored weapon: the axe.
As the years passed, Sefton’s abilities grew as did the network of people he acquired in the criminal underbelly of numerous countries over the world. With the funds that he had gained from prize money and betting on himself, Sefton started to invest in various illegal business ventures. Drug production and trafficking, weapons smuggling, piracy, money laundering, prostitution, and various black market dealings became commonplace in day to day tasks for those that began to work for Sefton.
Eventually Sefton’s organization began to rival a few mid-level crime groups but, due to the money being won off the man’s fights, his penchant for literally obliterating anyone who made an attempt on his life, and the fact that he was not overstepping his bounds, he was generally left to his own devices by most groups. However, with the immutable fact that not every law enforcement officer or agency can be bought off, Sefton Yates managed to find himself in the top thirty of Interpol’s most wanted list.
