Delivery.

Alexiel walked down the hallways of Hellsing mansion in his formal servant's attire, a platter in one hand, with a pitcher of tea and several cups upon it. Carrying himself with the grace and balance any 192 year old butler should posess, he countinued onwards unto his destination. This time, he had made sure to aquire the percise location of the room, as well as valid directions to arrive there. Coming upon the hallway which contained his destination, he transversed the carpeted floor to a wooden door, of which he knocked twice with his free hand.

"I have the tea you requested, Captain."

Pips office was rather modestly sized, it had a desk center back of the room with a computer on it, around it however were files, a few guns and other miscellaneous items. There was also a small couch that could seat three people, laying on it Pip was awakened by the knocking there was a slight darkness until he sat up and his hat fell of his face, he had accidentally nodded off Yeah come in.
Rubbing his eye, Tea ? thought I ordered coffee ahh whatever as long as it wakes me up I don't care he thought as he stood up stretching while his hand gripped onto his hand, before the arm swung round and placed it on his head.

Nodding and opening the door with a gloved hand, minus the fingers on the gloves, Alexiel entered the room, looking around for a bit inside. After a moment he spotted a clean spot on the edge of the desk, setting the tray down. Turning to Pip, he bowed slightly, putting his hand over his heart, as is proper. Standing up again to peer around the room with mismatched eyes, he surveyed the clutter, resisting his urge to comment. Noting the Goose's sleepy state, he looked up at/over to him as he poured the tea into a cup, his near two hundred years of practice giving him the ability to do so while not looking.

"Art thou feeling alright, Sir?"

Looking at the young man before him with the mismatched eyes Pip in his sleepy state didn't recognize him Wha a kid ? noticing him eying the mess, the french merc let out a groan Oh yeah your that new guy right ? Noticing him pouring out the tea with some skill he was reminded that this kid was actually 190 odd years old.  Ah your the old man kid right ? he said as he walked over and picked up the cup after it had been filled, taking a sip he made a small cringe, before putting it down and adding some sugar and mixing it in with a spoon and then taking another sip this time making a rather satisfied Ahh after sipping.

Alexiel flinched at the mention of 'old man kid.' Doing his best not to palm his face, he merely frowned, deciding not to go and spout off to someone most undoubtably nearly directly underneath the Director herself.

"I'm new to the Hellsing Organization, yes..." Again, the servant kept his comments to himself. Was it always that Humans required sugar in their tea? Why not just make the tea with sugar in it? It would be far more efficient.

Sipping the the sweet tea once again Pip looked down at the old man trying to remember his name, luckily for him there was a note about a new member that had came a while ago on the desk, on it said several names with a short description Your Alexiel right ?  Speaking before he sipped his tea, his eye quickly darting up looking at the rather annoyed looking kid/old man/whatever, the french merc would need to be careful around him, it said he was a vampire and something about fire.

Fixing his frown into a smile, a seemingly real one, though highly deceiving, the servant nodded. "That is correct, Sir." Oh, the very last thing he needed to do was let down his facade of fake emotions. Truly, when others get under your skin with a comment, they often exploit it. Such a bother. "And you are, Sir?" The vampire knew the rank of the man infront of him, but had neigh a name, and things such as that seldom slipped Alexiel's mind.

After a final sip the french merc put the empty cup down Pip Bernadotte he said before picking up a file, looking at it he grumbled something about how they need more men. So your a vampire butler ? speaking as he put the file down, it closed as it hit the desk Didn't realize vampires could use fire, thought you guys hated that stuff.  His body wasn't completely awake evident by him stretching his arms out a little, a small popping sound was head form his arms and shoulder.

Alexiel nodded, seeing to that he would remember the name. Shrugging, he looked to Pip, his red left eye glowing slightly, and a pentagram just visible within it. "I guess I have always had a fondness for the stuff." It's not as if he was afraid to show off, he just didn't want to scare the pants off of the man infront of him... At least not right away.

Seeing the pentagram in Alexiels eye made Pip rather cautious for some reason, something about it made him feel a little weird ed out. Maybe it was because Alucard was the only vampire he had seen with a pentagram, was this vampire on a level where his powers had to be sealed ? Still it was a good thing he was on there side, or it seemed like that at least,  anther vampire was more fire power against those damned Millennium bastards.  Though this was an older vampire who just happen to show up so maybe he would need plans just in case he was maybe a double agent, he kept a rather lazy demeanor while he had such thoughts not letting on to his more serious thoughts Do you have anything to ask ?

Alexiel blinked, then his expression flipped into a nervous one, rubbing the back of his neck wih his right hand and looking to the side. "Well, I...I planned to try to get to know everyone... B...but I'm not really the best... A... At getting to know people... Usually, getting to know someone's likes and dislikes helped in the long run, as you could better service their requests. As well as once and a while he met someone worth talking to, but... Usually people seemed to avoid him...

Or was it the other way around?

Pip went into his desk and got out a packet of cigarettes, he didn't know how to feel about the vampires reaction, on the one  hand it was rather refreshing to see someone who wasn't too good at socializing and open showed it, on the other hand he was a vampire who lived over a hundred years and is acting like this was kind of..weird.  He was able to get a good grasp on some of Alexiels personality at least, letting out a small chuckle If you want to know something about me, I am a mercenary who spends his days fighting on random battlefields for some change his eye was kept on Alexiel.

Alexiel blinked. "A...Mercenary..." Of course... this brought up some things within the Vampire's head. Dammit! Where were you back during the July Revolution! We could have used the help! Damn, My sister might still be here had we been able to hire some mercenaries... Oh, What was the equivalent then? Landshknet? Swiss Guard? Gah... Alexiel then wondered how their kill counts differed. Attempting to guess at the man infront of him through his actions, the blond estimated that the man was not afraid of him. This of course, was good, as people that are afraid tend to point guns at you, and guns that are pointed at you... well. Alexiel know far to well what guns could do to a person.

Pip stared at the vampire as though it looked like he was deep in thought, wondering what was going on a little he got the lighter out of his desk and put a cigarette in his mouth, flipping the lighter open he began to click at the spark wheel. It didn't seem to want to spark it seemed, maybe it was low on lighter fluid ? He just continued to click away futilely as the vampire was still deep in thought hopefully not noticing the fumble.

Alexiel blinked, then peered at Pip as he fumbled with a lighter. Whispering words quietly in Lucifenian, a small blue flame ignited upon the cigarette just long enough for the paper to ignite, and the extinguished. This if course, brightened the boy's pentagram slightly, as well as made the runes on his arms glow, but they were hidden by his clothes. [i]"There you are, Sir."[i/] Finally. Decent way to show a small part of his abilities without having to go cook something. After about thirty seconds, the pentagram dimmed.

Pip was surpised by the blue flame, he moved back a little but the cigarette had been light, looking upwards as he shut the lighter he noticed Alexiel's pentagram glow.  Slowly he inhaled, the cigarette slowly burned, exhaling smoke puffed out his mouth and drifted off around the room So 'hat is 'ow you use your fire ? he asked casually putting the lighter away, taking a small mental note on Alexiel s power.

Alexiel nodded, noticing the man's slightly startled state. It was as good a reaction as could be hoped for. At least he hadn't drawn a weapon, so that was good. The servant wanted to inquire into Pip's past, if only to keep the conversation going, and sate his curiosity, but he didn't exactly want to ask any offensive questions either.

After inhaling and another puff of smoke Pip sat back a little his hands behind his head looking quite relaxed So any'hing else ask ? his eye seemed to be lazy looking at Alexiels pentagram, wondering what the hell was up with it.  As he looked at the other eye he noticed it was normal, vampires were so weird he thought he had a grasp on them but now this kid comes in and is now doing this weird magic fire trick. 'ow is et you do that fire trick ? asking as he sat forward a little seeming a little more attentive than he was before.

"Well, originally Leonheart taught me how to utilize it. It's a manifestation of Lucifenian Antifaith." Of course... That was before I vaporized him... Damn bastard went and tried turning me over to the Church... Hah, Nope. Alexiel wondered if Pip was interested in learning how to use the flames... Well, for one, the Vampire could sense neither Light nor Shadow in his voice, so that would be one problem... Guessing this man was not descent from any noble line... But then again, that whole L+S stuff seemed like bullshit to Alexiel anyway. If one just devoted themselves to the Antifaith enough, they could do it, at least after making a pact with a demon...

And trying not to light themselves on fire too much...

Antifaith ? sounds like some kind of comic book power picking up a file he looked over the tags on it real quick So is this a vampire thing ? now he was wondering if other vampires could do this, hell what if Millennium started to do this ?  Supernatural far more mysterious than Pip first thought, and now he wondered if they should double or even triple the original defense plans he had, hopefully Alexiels answer would be "No its a thing I can do" but even then maybe he could teach Seras to do it.   For a moment Pip stopped what he was doing and had a rather worried look on his face No..she may burn down the place

Alexiel chuckled. "Actually, No. It's something that must first be invoked as a human. In fact, I'm the person other than Leonheart that mastered it, except I have no idea what the invocation ceremony is. So no. Nobody else can utilize this." Of course, Alexiel himself could administer the ceremony, but he, unlike Leonheart, had no idea what the hell he was doing, and thus would most likely kill the subject.

Oh, and the fact he tried to teach someone before and they burnt to a crisp upon their first invocation didn't help. He blinked once. "Of course, there's probably other Vampires that can do something similar with actual Vampiric abilities... But I wouldn't know about that."  Alexiel noted to himself he was unusually talkative... Maybe because he found someone interested in the Lucifenian Faith? Perhaps Leonheart had rubbed off on him afterall.

Hearing that Alexiel was the only who could do it slightly put Pip at ease, taking another drag of the cigarette, the smoke slowly puffing out his mouth So we are lucky that you are the only then looking at the time he groaned Ahh damned naps he looked over at Alexiel again So I take it you want to know some about me zen ? he asked as he poured him self another cup of tea, he was a little sloppier than Alexil was but non of the tea actually spilled, throwing two sugars in he slowly stirred waiting for Alexiels awenser.

Alexiel nodded. As before, learning more about someone generally made servicing their needs easier. Be it their likes, dislikes, or past, the last of which helped in making sure not to have a slip of the tongue and say something offending, greatly helped out in the long run. Of course, occasionally he found someone with an interesting story to tell.

Slowly taking the spoon out then placing it on the platter Pip raised the cup and took a sip of the tea, for a moment it was quiet, just him sipping at the tea and his eye on Alexiel. Putting the cup down with a small clank noise as the cup returned down Its rather simply actually, I was brought up in a family of mercenary's I was born to go to different places and kill people for some coin laying back, his arms stretching behind and under his hat I have been through many battles, civil wars, petty wars, selfish wars, foolish wars. I killed men who were fighting for there own cause, probably thinking it was the right and just one, in the end I was payed to kill them

"Hn... If only we had Mercenaries during the July Revolution..." Hn? Seems like this man went through similar situations as Pollo. Alexiel wondered if this man had the same crazy bloodthirst for fighting that the insane paladin mentioned moments ago had possessed.

Two of his fingers wrapped around the cups handle, slowly he lifted the cup and took a sip of the sweet tea, he heard something about July Revolution the way Alxeiel had said the words it was obvious what had happened.  Pip had been in plenty of revolutions he wondered just what happened but it may have been a touchy subject.   The last thing he wanted was a pissed off vampire who could make fire, so he just sat there sipping his tea.

"Have you... Ever fought your own countrymen...?" Alexiel peered at the ground, at first being cautious of bringing up negative memories but then continuing the sentence only in his thoughts. ...Filled them with lead, cut them into pieces, slaughtered them like swine and destroyed the bodies...? As previously stated, he was cutting it so that hopefully negative memories wouldn't be aroused in the man infront if him, (*Careless Whisper*) the last thing he needed was a facefull of bullets.

...And considering this was a vampire hunting organization, those bullets would probably be silver, too.

I 'ave Pip casually remarked before taking another sip of his tea To be honest I never really had any love for my own country, never really got a good chance to see it often he finished the tea putting ti down once more As I said, I get payed to kill people and those men were no different, maybe some were trying to protect something but they died in the end. He got his packet of cigarettes out flicking it so one of the cigs came out a little so he could take it out with his mouth Its difficult to think of any of them as my country men seeing as I was brought up in a different country as well.

So have you been through any battles ?  asking curiously as he looked for a lighter taht worked.

"Hn. Numerous assassination attempts, revolutions, and both World Wars." Alexiel had not only been through quite a few battles, he had the scars to prove it. At least the ones from when he was human, anyway. "Need some help with that?" Alexiel peered at the cigarette, holding up a fingerless-gloved hand.

Pip raised a brow at Alexiel, his credentials were nothing to sneeze at he may have to look into this if Hellsing has any files it would be interesting to talk tactics if this man was in so many battles over the years. Letting out a small whistle as he held up his cigarette Sounds like you seen just about ever major war, just were are you from ? holding out the cigarette If you wouldn't mind

"La Collancelle, France. My sister had rule over it and two other towns nearby." Blinking and looking at the cigarette, his pentagram glowed slightly brighter as he spoke, then it faded. "יגנישאַן." Upon his completion of the completion of the word, a blue flame yet again ignited upon the cigarette and extinguished.

Watching as the flame burn through the paper of the cigarette Pip though about the name Alexiel said, he heard it somewhere.  As he took a drag, the cigarettes inhaling the cigarettes contents he remembered the where he heard it from, some guy who wouldn't stop talking that one time he was in France. So you actually ruled over your own little kingdom ? he let out a puff of smoke as he talked How the hell did I start working with hundred of years old vampires with crazy ass powers !?

"Well, Actually, My sister, Rillaine Lucifen d'Autriche, did. I was her servant." She ruled with a rather iron fist... Hn.  He wondered if Pip had ever heard about the towns. Possibly about his sister, even. That would make the next bit of conversation rather... interesting...

Quickly inhaling Pip was wondering where this conversation as going, slowly he exhaled the smoke I heard a bit about her, but I didn't hear anything about her having a brother. Then again I didn't really hear the full story. His eye wandered to the pentagram in Alexiels eye, where they connected ? who knew maybe he would learn something from this stroy

Alexiel blinked. "What did you hear about her? I'm a tad curious..." Oh, I'm more than curious. As soon as Pip explained that little tidbit, Alexiel didn't mind telling Pip about the circumstances of his sister's rule, and a bit about himself. Hopefully the man infront of him could be trusted to keep any information released to himself.

Well, Alexiel was guessing his abilities fulfilled that little preference.

Pip laid back on his chair closing his eye trying to remember what the man said, Give me a minute, it was some time ago and I remember the loud mouth talking for what seemed hours about it after a few moments of him inhaling and then puffing out smoke he opened his eye and sat forwards. I remember him saying she was some kind of genius, so much so that she took over her family's business of arms manufacturing at age eight, something about a fire occurring and then her parents disappearing.

Alexiel blinked."Well, that is perhaps the most accurate account of events that any Human would believe..." He pondered the best way to deliver the rest of his statement. After pausing and thinking for a few moments, the vampire continued. "Anne and Arth Lucifen d'Arutriche were both killed in a fire at their home in La Collancelle. Shortly thereafter Rillaine took over the business, and, well, nothing much happened aside from numerous assassination attempts until 1830." Alexiel shrugged.
