This has been posted here as per request. An account for the Major will be created if the sheet is accepted.
Have you see the OVA or read the manga series of Hellsing? If so how far have you gotten? If not please direct your attention to YouTube, and watch OVA 1-4 at least. Warning: If you have watched the anime we require you watch the OVA, or read the manga. The anime is not canon. This is not our opinion. This is the law set down by the creator of Hellsing, Kouta Hirano. Everything other than the manga and anime.
Name: Herr Major a.k.a. Wolfgang “Montana Max” Anschutz(On-Shutz)
Age: Physical – 30, Chronological – 90
Gender: Male
Physical appearance: Wolfgang Anschutz is a short man with metallic gray hair that matches his outfit and he has blue eyes. He is clearly of European descent, however his skin has become pale from spending so much time inside the Deus Ex Machina. Befitting his short stature, he is also quite fat due to his fondness for lavish meals such as steak and all kinds of wurst.
Spoiler:
Clothing of choice: Wolfgang is dressed impeccably, wearing a white suit with matching overcoat, glasses, gloves, shoes, and a black tie. The overcoat has golden buttons on the cuff and to close it up while the suit only has gold buttons for closing it up.
Major Outfit:
Spoiler:
Wolfgang keeps his old First Lieutenant uniform locked inside of a glass cabinet in his quarters. He hasn't worn it since the end of World War II, however, he keeps it in pristine condition in preparation for the coming war, in which he plans to wear it.
First Lieutenant Outfit:
Spoiler:
Weaponry of choice: Wolfgang has no weapons save for the standard issue sidearm of most German Officers: The Pistole Parabellum 1908, or as it was more commonly known, the Luger.
Spoiler:
Race: Advanced Cyborg
Abilities: – Immortality(Enhanced Longevity): Wolfgang's cybernetic enhancements have rendered him always young. As long as the machinery powering his life functions is kept in good working order, he is effectively immune to dying of natural causes. - Meager Strength - Meager Agility - Meager Stamina - Meager Reflexes - Sublime Resistance to Blunt Weapons - Meager Resistance to Guns and Blades - Master Strategist: Wolfgang is an effective planner and strategist, developing complex plans to achieve his goals. He accounts for the personalities and usual mannerisms of allies and enemies alike and never takes anything for granted - notably, he considers Integra and Seras to be high-priority threats simply because he knows little about their capabilities. - Limited Marksmanship: Wolfgang has some training with small firearms, apparently favoring pistols. Unfortunately, his aim is abysmal, leaving him unable to hit a target even if it is stationary and only a few feet away. - Gifted Orator: Wolfgang's main asset is his ability to inspire his troops with enthusiastic speeches. He can take almost any situation and spin it into a speech that will strengthen Millenium's morale for their next operation. Probably the best example of Wolfgang's oration abilities is his famous "I love war" speech.
Organization: Millennium
Personality: Wolfgang's defining trait in the series is a complete and utter obsession with war. By his own admission, he loves war in any and all of its aspects; even being on the losing side or having his own life at risk provokes nothing but glee and excitement. His insane devotion to war is evident in the sheer fondness with which he regards the havoc Millennium wreaks upon the world, as well as his cavalier approach to death, which was passed on to most of his forces through his speeches. Despite being a former Nazi, Wolfgang does not care for the reasons behind his wars. Even during World War II, his enthusiastic work on the Millennium project was solely to ensure that he could wage war forever.
Wolfgang is also an avid reader and a lover of classical music such as Beethoven and Mozart. His favorite books are Mein Kampf and The Art of War. His favorite composition is Dvorak's Symphony No. 9 “From the New World” - 4th Movement.
Contrasting his fanatical love of war, Wolfgang is very calm and soft-spoken, almost always speaking in a polite, amused tone. Additionally, despite being a huge warmonger, he is an incredibly horrible shot with a gun. This is shown when he tried to execute the captain of the Deus Ex Machina for insubordination, and ends up missing all 8 shots from his pistol at point-blank range, causing the Doc to wonder how he ever got into the SS. This is shown again during his final duel with Integra Hellsing, where out of his 8 shots, he only grazes the eye of Integra, despite her at close range and actually approaching him.
His true nature is apparent to all, however, as he is often seen with a sinister smile and a mad gleam in his eyes. The Major freely admits his own evil while mocking the righteousness of his enemies; when he crashes the Queen's meeting in Volume 4, he mocks both Integra and Maxwell's beliefs while claiming that Millennium has no goals beyond wanton destruction and slaughter.
Despite being a self-proclaimed monster and madman, the Major is very proud and protective of his humanity, which he defines as his willpower and "soul". During the fall of Berlin, he rejected the temptation to drink blood and ensure his survival by becoming a vampire, even though he seemed to be on the verge of death. It is this pride that leads to the Major's campaign against Alucard, who he views as a monster and an inherently inferior being for sacrificing his humanity for power - a sentiment ironically shared by Alucard himself.
Having been born from war, hearing countless war stories, and picturing vivid images constructed from his fathers letters, Wolfgang feels that war is who he is. It was where he was born, with war stories as his earliest childhood memories, and because war brings him closer to the family he barely knew. Waging war now, takes him back to his childhood, to his earliest memories, which feels like a rush of some kind. It makes him feel alive and affirms to himself that he is indeed Human, because he has his soul and his heart, and he has his memories which are made manifest through war itself. It is also through war, that he feels the presence of his family, he feels closer to them, an experience that he was deprived of as a child. To him, they live in war, and it is during wartime, that they are alive to him. Character Theme:
Rank: Major
Biography: In 1914, at the dawn of The Great War, a boy was born to Gunther and Helga Anschutz in Potsdam, Germany. They named him Wolfgang after the famous German composer, Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart, because in his first waking moments, he was waving his hands in the air like a music conductor. And true to his namesake, Wolfgang came to like the music compositions of Mozart at the age of 3. However, it was around this time that the Americans entered World War I. The Americans push Eastward forced Germany to send more troops to the frontlines. Wolfgang's parents were also sent to the front. His father was serving as an Officer. Before his mother left to work as a nurse on the frontlines, she would read the letters that his father sent aloud to him. These letters created vivid images of burning forests and ruins that were ingrained in Wolfgang's mind. War itself, became his earliest childhood memories. Wolfgang was left with a local Orphanage in Potsdam when his mother finally left. However, two months before the end of the war in 1918, a letter arrived at the Orphanage. Gunther was killed while leading troops across the No Man's Land between trenches, while Helga was killed when the trench tunnel she was in collapsed on top of her. She was treating wounded soldiers at the time. This was Wolfgang's introduction to the man-made concept of war.
For many years, Wolfgang studied wars of centuries past. He studied the countries involved in the wars, how they fought, what kinds of people led them, and under what conditions. During his studies, he also found books on the Wild West and became somewhat obsessed with notion of cowboys. This led to the other orphans giving him the nickname Montana Max. Wolfgang was an avid reader, going so far as to read Mein Kampf in the late 1920's. He enjoyed it so much that he became an outspoken supporter of Adolf Hitler in the early 1930's. With Hitlers rise to power and the installment of the Nazi party, Wolfgang became ecstatic at the prospect of a possible second Great War. In 1938, at the age of 24, Wolfgang enlisted in the German military. When war with Poland commenced in 1939, Wolfgang was on the frontlines of the war, basking in its glory. As the war progressed, Wolfgang quickly moved up the chain of command until he reached the rank of First Lieutenant. It is rumored that Wolfgang was also involved with the Auschwitz Death Camp at some point, but no proof has ever come forward to corroborate this.
During the Second World War, Wolfgang was among a group of soldiers who were overrun by Soviets after taking part in the fruitless defense of Berlin. He was the only survivor of the group, and even then just barely. By the time the Soviets left, Wolfgang had been beaten, shot, and left to die among the corpses of his comrades. As he clung to life, he noticed the blood around the battlefield beginning to move towards him. From the pooling blood, a dark voice spoke to the Major, asking him to drink the blood and become an unstoppable monster. However, he forced the blood away from himself through sheer force of will, refusing to throw away his humanity even on the brink of death. Shortly afterwards, Wolfgang was retrieved by the Doctor, who saved his life by transforming him into a cyborg. Some time after this, Wolfgang was put in charge of Millennium's project to create artificial vampires, using the corpse of Mina Harker as raw material. The success of this project would allow the Nazis to utilize vampires in battle and turn the tide of the war in their favor. Unfortunately for the Nazis, a young Walter Dornez and Alucard tracked Millennium's operations to Warsaw, Poland in 1944 and seemingly destroyed their research. However, Wolfgang and his subordinates managed to escape to South America unharmed to continue their research. Several higher-ranking Nazi officers accompanied Millennium to their South American hideout and attempted to exert their authority, but the vampire officers loyal to Wolfgang quickly executed them.
Over the next fifty years, Wolfgang, now self-promoted to the rank of Major, oversaw the apparent success of Millennium's work, as they eventually transformed a thousand elite Waffen-SS soldiers into vampires. However, with World War II over, the Wolfgang's goals for his army had changed; instead of creating a Reich that would last for a thousand years (hence the name "Millennium"), he only sought to drive the entire world into chaos, thus creating a "glorious war" that Millennium could fight for all time. He also developed a fixation with Alucard, seeing him as an antithesis to himself, and began developing an elaborate scheme to permanently defeat the powerful vampire.
RP sample:
The halls of the Deus Ex Machina were eerily quiet, save for a pair of heavy footsteps. Through the darkened halls, a rather stout man could be seen walking. His metallic hair glistened under the overhead lights. He was Major Wolfgang Anschutz, the leader of the Last Battalion: Millennium. He was an enigma of sorts to many. His past was shrouded in mystery. Only Herr Doktor and The Captain were aware of his past. The rest of Millennium was oblivious to it, and merely knew of his military career. He smiled a large, devilish grin that seemed to gleam in the artificial light. A door opened before him and he stepped into the Control Room of the Deus Ex Machina. At the opposite end of the room sat his command chair. Standing at attention throughout the room were the many Vampires that comprised the entirety of Millennium. The Major casually strolled across the room, arms folded behind his back. Waiting for him by his chair were his loyal Lieutenants. He took the stage and turned to face his Battalion. “At eaze, gentlemen.” The soldiers lowered their arms and turned to face him directly. “As you all know, it haz been nearly 60 years since ve left zhe Fatherland, since ve struck out on our journey across zhe vorld. And the time enact a plan for var that vould make even zhe late Fuhrer shit himself in his fiery grave, vill soon be upon us. However, it has come to mein attention that some of you are becoming reztless as ve continue to vait, just a little bit longer. And so, I vould like to lay to rest any concerns you may have. If anyone vould like to voice their concerns, I vill happily address zhem in front of everyone here.” A moment after he finished speaking, one of his Officers stepped forward. “You promised uz a grand var nearly 60 yearz ago. Ve've vaited quite long enough. Inztead of vaiting any longer, ve zhould zeize zhe opportunity and ztrike now.” The Major smiled his devilish grin and retrieved his prized Luger from inside his suit jacket. He aimed at the officer and fired off two rounds, both of which missed completely and bounced off the floor of the control room. The Officer quivered in his jack boots and stepped back in line. “I vithdraw my prior concern, Herr Major.” The Major, content, reconcealed his pistol and looked out over the rest of his soldiers. “Now that zhat is out of zhe vay, does anyone else have any concerns they'd like addressed?” He slashed his devilish grin once more. His teeth and his glasses reflected the light, making him seem far more evil. No one stepped forward with a concern. “Very well then. If zhere are no futher concerns that need attending to, you are all dismissed.” The soldiers slammed one foot against the ground and saluted. “Zieg Heil!” They made a 180 degree turn and marched out of the room. The Officers returned to their posts.
Not looking back at his Lieutenants who he already assumed were smiling and silently applauding in their heads, Wolfgang proceeded to leave the room. His destination was the outside of the Deus Ex Machina. More precisely, its roof. He climbed a ladder and opened a hatch in its ceiling, stepping out onto the top of the massive zeppelin. He strolled to the front of it and stopped, gazing out at the horizon as the wind whipped past him, blowing around his metallic hair, which glistened in the twilight. He felt a presence behind him. It was the Captain, who was most likely keeping an eye on him to make sure he didn't fall off the edge. “Tell me, mein Kapitan, does zhe dawn not remind you of fire? To me, it looks like the raging flames of hell itself. It ist beautiful, is it not? Soon, we vill cover zhe vorld in a blaze of glory zhe likes of vhich zhe vorld hast never known. A glorious symphony of var vill echo throughout the land, and ve... shall be its conductors.”

Not sure why someone thinks this needs to be in here but I will run with it. If possible though, let's get this outta the way really quickly. We're gonna need all of these slots here soon.

I like the attention to detail and this is a character we sorely need. Good luck trying to motivate this bunch. Seems like the age is not quite right would be the only thing I can think of off hand but it doesn't bother me. You have my approval.

It came out good, and obviously it's proof you have and are improving. I'm glad you mentioned he's a horrible shot. Really does make one wonder how he got into the SS, but then again look at the guy who is similar to him in Raiders of the Lost Ark. Perhaps he served other purposes for Hitler like controlling Millennium.
