Update on Neva abilities

Neva has now been experimented upon by Serin, he has been given abilities that allow him to move and act over a range of sub-zero temperatures. His main ability is poikilothermy, given by Serin’s study and knowledge and application of a reptile’s ability to act and react under a range of temperatures. Neva can move and survive at -200 degrees Celsius, though movement heats up his muscles and can drastically change his body temperature, hence why he doesn’t move a lot so much anymore requiring extra injections (bottom of paragraph) for any kind of extended accelerated movement (fights). Even when he fights he aims to finish or achieve something in a short time to avoid running out of injections. While all this is good and well, Neva still has problems keeping his body temperature from rising, with the help of hourly liquid nitrogen injections, he can keep his body temp at a set level (being -200 degrees).

If he misses even one of these injections, the repercussions are immense. Neva can suffer permanent brain damage from his temp rising too quickly if not dead no thanks to his heart not being able to cope with the rapid change in temp. Using his touch and or blood as a ready and on hand weapon, Neva can freeze someone (limited to what part of the body he is touching. IE he places his hand on someone, the part he touches will freeze) with an exposed touch within a few seconds. Even if his touch isn’t enough to kill or slow down, the consequences can be deadly. The victim’s body temperature can rise too quickly, there can be a blockage in the bloodstream, or the victim can lose the ability to use said limb. Failing the ability to get in close, Neva will often cut a part of himself and use his blood to freeze someone. Though said person must be within range of say, being able to wet someone with water from a cup. Neva always has to seal the cut very quickly to avoid any infections or body temp rise or blood loss. Neva can often be able to seal it effectively with just a splash of water, as the water freezes upon contact with his blood. As far as sustenance goes, Neva is limited to specially made ‘injection meals’ by Serin and Stein.

You would be doomed in a fight, you do know how much you actually use your body in a fight right ? not to mention the temperature of the place your fighting in.

How does the injection make him able to freeze someone? Is it simply a side effect of the injection that makes him so cold to the point where if he touches something it freezes?

its more of a, take his body temp down to around -200 degrees during said experiment and give him the ability to survive it. The injection keeps the body temp at that point.

Serin, don't post on peoples' sheets that aren't yours.

Now that that's out of the way, none of this makes sense, quite honestly. It's great you know about lizards, but Neva isn't a lizard nor has he had some sort of DNA splicing to make him part lizard (aside form your pokey-dokey-thermia, but even that hasn't been shown to let things survive 200 degrees below freezing). Second, you can't survive liquid nitrogen injections, let alone on a regular basis; your limb would freeze and fall off from the injection, assuming you could even get it to inject.

You've basically turned yourself into a combination of Mr. Freeze, Bane, and Preston Payne: You can't survive past sub-zero temperatures, you have to be injected with a serum every hour or you stop functioning, and you'd have to wear a special suit at all times if you wanted to touch literally anything without it being destroyed.

Finally, as Jay said, you can barely do anything, making your character pretty much useless on all fronts at that point, aside from being able to make witty banter (assuming talking wouldn't raise his temperature too much).

I don't really see any way this could work, even if we overlook the simple fact the body can't survive at -200 degrees Celsius.

It's just the fact I don't understand it and there wasn't a proper answer to my question to help me understand. So if I don't understand how will I know if you aren't godmodding.
