PostSubject: Jaime Sheffield [Done]   Jaime Sheffield [Done] EmptyFri Jan 25, 2013 4:27 pm

Name: Jaime Sheffield

Age: 23

Gender: Male

Physical appearance: Standing at around 6 foot then Jaime is extremely thick built. His body is quite muscular yet at the same time the muscles aren’t very well defined. His face has a sharp angular quality to it, though he does have a rather pronounced jaw line. Jaime has black hair and fairly tanned skin, though he has grown up in England notoriously cold, he has done his fair share of work. Years in the rolling mills has taught him what. Now though he has synthetic skin which means he can’t tan anyway. His left arm due to the amount of surgery in it looks slightly strange. Looking almost like he’s had a lot of sub dermal implants. This gives it the look of being lumpy

Clothing of choice: Usually wearing a white shirt and tie and black trousers, he normally disdains a jacket. Though he can be normally seen wearing a waistcoat and normally has highly polished black shoes on. He spends hours on making sure that he always looks presentable as he was brought up to make sure that he always looked his best. His tie is always black and his waistcoat is black though on a silver ring on his right hand he has the Sheffield coat of arms engraved. His belt has a silver plain buckle, while he also has holsters for his weapons on both of his hips. He doesn’t dress for battle but feels more comfortable dressed like this than in anything else.

Weaponry of choice: On his belt he has a sawn off shotgun that fires 24 gauge silver slugs. While on the other sides he has a 9mm sub machine gun that also fires silver blessed rounds. He usually has about twelve slugs and three magazines on his person in a special part of his holster, he has pockets built in underneath. While in his right arm he has what would be the bone, hollowed out with a pure silver, steel plated and blessed spike. This allows him to use it as a piercing weapon to stab through vampires with; it works just as well on humans as well.

Race: Cyborg

Abilities: Strength, speed, and durability of a Category F vampire, the only bit of his body there’s a significant amount of cybernetics is the upper left part of his body. Because of his injuries the only way for him to survive is implants and other small bits of technology for him to be able to have the cybernetics support and in the case of his left lung has had to be transplanted; and had a small metal cage integrated around it to protect it from further damage. His left sets of ribs are supported with a steel frame placed around it to make that side of his rib cage stronger. His left arm was wrecked and so it had to have a cybernetic wrapping along the bone that holds it all together and reinforces it.

Having to eat and drink like normal human’s this allows the cybernetic components convert nutrients and proteins he takes in to essential fluid that organs are too damaged or not present to make making up for damaged organs.

All of the implants and cybernetics leave his left side vulnerable if attacks pierce his skin, and any serious damage can completely disable him. But due to reinforcing his bone structures it’s hard for that to happen and leaves him fairly safe from anything bad happening on that side. Though not heavily armoured he can take a bullet on his left side from about 20 yards from an AK-47 and it won’t penetrate deep enough to get to a cybernetic component if it breaks the armouring, armour piercing rounds though are a death sentence to him.

Organization: Hellsing

Personality: Retaining most of his personality from before he became a cyborg then he’s quite a social person. He doesn’t enjoy being alone and is used to being around others and socialising. While being aware and knowledgeable of his privileged position in life he’s quite down to earth. His father had all of the boys spent weeks when they reached the age of 16 in the steel rolling mills. There they learnt what it was like for normal people, it was also there that they came to truly realised what the town was. After that Jaime always kept the rough speaking and some of the slang talks of the steel workers of Sheffield. It’s in his blood and veins, this makes him extremely rash and hot headed when it comes to people insulting his home town. He’s also extremely devoted, being more than willing to sacrifice honour and all respect if it meant defending this place he regards as the one place he belongs. He hates vampires, which are the one thing that he despises more than anything. Things have made him bitter when it comes to the supernatural. He’s indifferent to battle, only caring about destroying his opponent. It seems that he doesn’t care what happens to himself; only wanting to deal death to the things that killed his brother.

Rank: Sergeant

Biography: Born as the second son to the Baron of Sheffield Jaime, which since power was given to the people a pretty empty title, but still kept respect and had a decent amount of money to its name. Spent most of his time being raised for greatness in Government, this was tempered though with him being taught about the people of the town. It was explained to them from an extremely early age that not everyone was as privileged as him. Even if he couldn’t do anything he should always remember those less fortunate, as a noble and a guardian it was his place to put his people before his own life and those of his family and friends. His older brother being destined to inherit the titles then it was going to be Jaime’s place to join the army. It was tradition and in general would be good of the family name. Learning from the age of five the basics of combat through Judo classes and other martial arts then there wasn’t anything else that anyone considered for him. It was his fate and his destiny, set in stone.

At the age of sixteen like all men of his family he spent his summer working in the steel rolling mills; it was there that he picked up his speaking habits. From then on it never quite left him. It was considered that as a “sheffielder” then he should speak like one. It was how their family was viewed, they were no better than anyone else and knew a good days work. It helped to avoid tension and animosity between them and the people of the city.

But when he came of age then things changed, while out drinking after finishing training for an infantry regiment. A vampire that had been going around the city butchered the place, killing all his friends and leaving him inches from death, his little brother who’d come with him included. He was left broken and dying. When Hellsing agents came onto the scene they quickly killed it, though there was only one way to save the wounded Jaime. And that was an experimental project that was developed since it was discovered that the Major was a Cyborg, and that was to make more. Stronger and far more effective than normal soldiers, and specialised for fighting vampires. It wouldn’t normally have been done, but the fact of the matter was that the boy knew about vampires and even though he was dying still wanted to fight them.

He didn’t want to simply die without taking revenge for what’d, normally it wouldn’t have been done but the fact was that his father was cousin to Sir Hugh Irons, his father didn’t know what could be done but he knew one thing. Hugh was quite important in the government, if anyone could do something he could. So going to him and asking a favour of saving his son was a drastic favour. But pulling strings Sir Hugh managed to convince Integra of the merits of saving the boy’s life. Good will in the form of a sizeable donation through Sir Hugh from Jaime’s father; also it would give her a chance to experiment and test Hellsing’s limited amount of cybernetics, reluctantly she agreed.

When it was complete he was drafted into what he learned afterwards was the Hellsing organisation; and from there he proceeded to begin his mission of killing every single vampire that might pose a threat to innocents. It’s left him broken yet now he’d repaired he only has Hellsing. Although he was mostly organic at first as more problems came up over the years and as time went by. There skill improved and they added more parts to him; this has allowed him to eventually be mostly artificial at the point he’s at now. His room is down in the basement, where due to the simple nature of his components a technician an get called upon to deal with any damage should anything happen. Though problems don't occur often there is always someone ready.

RP sample: Sitting down in front of his employer then Jaime felt nothing, it was something that he’d done hundreds of times before and now getting ordered to and getting orders did nothing to him. It only made his life a little less empty, with these missions he went out and completed, he was given a purpose. This was just another day at the office. “Sir Integra, what’re details?” his voice had a metallic property to it and still it retained some of the bad pronunciation and the missing out of words for which his people were famous. It was one of the things that he was noted for. His accent was one of the things that he was famed for, he found it weird. But still people talked and he wasn’t one to get caught up in it all, he was fine only being on the surface of the social side of things.
His boss took a second and lit a cigar, “We’re having a problem in a few flats in London, vampires have taken over a fairly small area, and we need it purged.”

Taking a second to crunch numbers and start to finally come up with a plan of action. “I’ll go and sort it out then” he sighed, “It was meant to be my weekend off but still. Work comes before anything right” Integra nodded sharply.

“Go and sort it out now, that’s an order”

Standing up the cyborg walked slowly out of the room not glancing back at his boss, there was no point, words weren’t needed. He knew what was going to happen, he was going to butcher everything he found, that didn’t need to be said. Walking out he found two geese standing at the door, nodding at them Jaime made his way down to one of the Hellsing cars. Getting into one of the smaller cars that he didn’t know about, not paying too much attention to what it was he didn’t like cars. Still speed was necessary at a time like this. Turning it on he made sure that the garage door was open before driving out and going to the scene of the vampire insurgents.

Stepping through the doorway into the flats Jaime slowly made his way up towards his target. It was in the top part of the flat and it was home to about five of them. One step at a time he was at the top in around a minute. It was totally silent, yet there was the smell of blood in the air. Going up to a blood splattered door he kicked it open, all hell broke loose. A vampire ran towards him, with a quick burst of holy water he was blinded. Running into the flat His blade licked out and pierced the vampire’s heart with a quick stab. “DIE YOU UNHOLY BASTARDS!”

Another one charged, his fist hit Jaime in the chest and knocked him back, yet doing no perceivable damage his opponent tried again and again. Punch for punch he tried to batter the android backwards, “It’s not working, ha” his armoured fist slashed out and caught his opponent in the side of the head. The second one turned to dust, the others were more wary now. The last three came in all at once.
“Checkmate”
His right hand pulled out his shotgun and firing it twice he emptied all of the silver shrapnel into his opponents blowing them back like straw.

Putting his shotgun away and pulling out his sub machine gun he killed them all with quick bursts of shots. Pulling out his phone the Cyborg phoned up Integra “The job’s done,” walking out he closed the door behind him.

There is no evidence in the manga to suggest Hellsing has the cybernetic expertise to create a cyborg. Their area of expertise is the occult, not super science.

Appearance is incredibly short and very confusing. He's got, like, a dragon arm, or something? What do you mean by scales?

Drop the powers down to around F level. What do you mean by photosynthesis? Sunlight has no nutrients in it and neither does water. Where does he get vitamins if not from food? How would that even work?

Don't like how you say he's pretty much invulnerable to melee attacks. Take that down a bit.

Nice to see someone who's not the silent badass or woobie woo every now and then.

Does your family really own this whole town, or something? That seems incredibly unlikely, since this isn't the Dark Ages. I wouldn't know, though, since he kind of just comes out from the start as, "I'm noble!" with no explanation. Modern barons have less power than the Queen, and she's just a figure head. The title of baron no longer equates to land ownership.

Why's Hellsing go out of their way to save his life? For that matter, how did they just randomly turn him into a cyborg? From the series, Integra seems surprised that Major is a machine, indicating they probably don't have the ability to make something like him. Explanation is key.

You don't ever explain how much of a cyborg he is. Is he Major level? Are only his arms prosthetic? I need me some details.

Now that everything is fixed, and wanting to move into the Millennium with better knowledge of technology out there I can see this happening. However, as I told you in the cbox to her it's like she was forced because it' Sir Irons. While Sir Irons is more of an ally to Integra than more people think he does pull rank with her, and tells her when to do something on a rare occasion much like after the Valentine attack.

Alright First. I don't care what you say, you can't just be running on some vitamins once a month. And you are a machine, how do you generate your own power when not hooked up to a power source? Cybernetics uses a hell of a lot more power than the human body. I mean the Major feasts on food everyday and said in the OVA's in response to Schrodinger's comment on him going on a diet saying that he could not do that. I need a more viable means of power.

I find myself torn on this sheet. For starters I agree fully with Anderson, however I feel myself looking to the past history of this site. I also see the need that Hellsing needs more bodies. However there are a few things that come to mind. This is 2004, and we are barely getting a grasp on automated prosthetic. I under stand that in the series that there were technological marvels achieved. But that was with Millennium and Iscariot. Millennium with Herr Doktor who had been studying this since probably before WW2. And Iscriot has Matthew, who has discovered a way to make people regenerate with nano technology. So that wouldn't be too far off from creating a fully fledged cyborg.

The most I've seen from Hellsing is being able to identify the fact that the FREAK chip was able to alter its host. They didn't know how, or even how to recreate it. Hellsing doesn't strike me as the organization to go into cybernetics when they have Alucard and Seras (canon) and a modest amount of vampires are their disposal.

In order for that to be accurate and within the time frame so your character wouldn't have died, they would have had t contract it out to a third party company, even then, it would all be experimental and basic cybernetics, (similar to the major), in the fact it wouldn't be anything fancy out side the fact you body is now pretty much a machine. Another point to consider, maintenance. Father Mike of Iscariot has Matthew to maintain him and the Major has Herr Doktor to maintain him. who do you have? At the moment it would have to be an NPC, but that could run a big security risk that I don't think hellsing would risk it given that a long time seemingly loyal member ended up being a double agent for millennium.

So I am sorry but seeing as there would be no viable way to get you proper and regular maintenance....
