Landing a few miles away from the barracks they had targeted, Yureka set down on the ground with the impact force of a small meteroite- but gracefully so, in a kneeling position before standing straight up.
Waiting for Hans to join her, she watched the powerless Natter glide across the horizon and to some hopefully populated area so that it might strike someone on the head. The more, the merrier.

And then the scenary hit her... they were in the mountains, the Alps, and it felt like a whole different world. All she`d seen of it so far was the Deus Ex Machina and London, but this- it seemed like civilization didn`t reach this far, the clear rivers crossing through bright green meadows, snowy mountains in the distance and from time to time, you`d see a primitive street suitable for one car, at best, and if you`re lucky, a house or a farmer herding sheep on the rich grasslands of this paradise on earth.
She felt a bit guilty to be spilling blood here soon, but it was for a greater cause.

As Hans landed, Yureka cut to the chase immidiently.
"Thats something i didn`t calculate- each one of our shots or that of our opponents will make an echo in this terrain. I don´t think they´d get reinforcements through over those roads, but in an area like this, every man and woman has a shotgun under their beds. And besides- tainted and delusional as they are, it`d still be germans we would be firing at. I would suggest simply knocking them out... or snapping their necks, without being seen."
Seeing the size of the barracks, she couldn´t help but swallow dryly.
"It would be better if we avoid alerting the entire base, too."

The Captain landed and bent his knees in order to dampen the sound, his coat flared out behind him like some sort of eagle wing. He got to his feet and gazed around the long lost fatherland, he hadn’t been here in a long time and it was almost emotional. He buried his emotions; this wasn’t the time to reminisce about such things. My village wasn’t too far away from here he thought, might be good to go and see it before we leave here. He shook his head slightly at the thoughts beginning to form in his head, it would just get in the way to think about his childhood now of all times.

He wrote a small note for Yureka and handed it to her, on it was a note saying to wait until it got darker. Until visibility got worse then they’d be best off waiting, then they would be less likely to raise alarm. The Captain turned around and went onto the grass, sitting down he leaned back and closed his eyes. It would be stupid to get worked up and they would run fast enough to get closer as it got darker, yet for now Hans wanted to merely prepare and relax while they had the chance.

Reading the note, Yureka wanted to slap herself. Of course- they had the advantage of being able to see clearly in the dark, while those humans would have to rely on searchlights.
The clear unpolluted air must´ve made her drunk or something.
"Yes, you´re right.. we´d best infiltrate at night. We also need some sort of van, or a semi truck to transport that many weapons..."
She kept pondering and thinking, rotating tactics and requirements through her head, by the time she looked at her superior again, he had fallen asleep, or at least closed his eyes, resembling a humanoid puppy.
"....what a terrifying monster." She said sarcastically, then shrugged her shoulders and sat down as well, keeping herself in the shadow of a tree to avoid the sun´s harmful rays from touching her face.

The hours slowly rolled by, the sun striding across the Bavarian skyline until it finally began to retreat behind the horizon, sending streaks of orange and purple across the land as a final goodbye before the stars fully took it's place.  At the nearby base, the nightly patrols began immediately, the beams of flash lights carried by the patrolmen visible in the clear night as well as the far larger search beams from the security towers located around the base.  The small houses scattered throughout the area cast their own light from small windows.  On small home in particular stirred near the resting remnants of WW2, a portly farmer exiting his home with a dog in tow for it's nightly walk.  A small varmint rifle resting over his shoulder on the off chance his pet ran afoul with some wildlife, the farmer hummed a tune as he followed his dog's excited yipping towards the treeline utterly unaware of the dangers awaiting him.

Yureka nudged the captain once, then stood up, straightening her coat. Life was starting to retreat to its shelters- about time to put their plan into motion. They needed a distraction, a means of transporting the weapons and the weapons themselves.... cutting the wires won`t do for a distraction, that`d only raise the alarm. And in the era of cellphones, they couldn´t be sure that it would hold off reinforcements either...
They could probably break down the door, kill everyone and then escape with the weapons... but that would be barbaric and stupid. Finding a transportation vehicle won`t be hard, she spotted an APC earlier... but gathering and loading the weapons might take until dawn, even with vampireic strength and speed to consider.

"Hauptmann. Its time."

Standing up the Captain readied himself for battle; it was going to be an eventful evening. Hearing the sound of a person walking towards them Hans went to stand in front of Yureka, he prepared to deal with any threats they might come across. Spotting a dog and looking at the outline of the figure The Captain determined that he was merely an old man, he grimaced and slunk off into the shadows gesturing to Yureka to do the same. Hans went deeper into the shadows before turning back to his partner, he wrote another note for her. On it was written: They may have trucks at the base, but for now we should go and have a look in the town. I was told there is a small truck depot that we may be able to use, giving a small nod as he passed the note he waited for her to read it. He then proceeded to silently run, they would have to be quick and quiet if they were going to succeed.

Even in the shadows, a dog could find another dog in an instant. Barking incessantly into the shadows, the elderly gentleman tried his best to control the beast. "Nein, Fritz!" the man spoke, pulling on the leash. The noise alerted two guards patrolling the perimeter of the base, who rushed towards the noise.

"Dies ist ein geschützter Bereich. Lassen Sie sich jetzt," one of the men warned. The old man apologized several times, tugging on his dog to try and direct them home. Finally finding some success as he dragged the canine home, the guards began to take a closer at what could have set it off. The approached the area where the Captain and Yureka had hidden, beginning to poke through with their flashlights.

Arriving at the truck depot, Yureka was getting nervous. Of course they had the element of suprise, and they were vastly superior in strength, speed and durability, but they were going to raid a military base with hundreds of heavily armed people inside. Hell, they might even have a tank or two loaded and ready. Telling herself to calm down, she looked over at her superior.
"We need to be quick about this. Every part of this operation needs to go like clockwork... no screw-ups allowed." she said, quietly before hopping over the tall fence, landing on one of the trailers. Lying flat on her belly, she scouted the surroundings for a while, then, when she decided it was safe to go, she rolled off and landed on her elbows, quickly standing back up.
Seconds later, she was on the driver side door and worked her way in, a spare firing pin serving as her lockpick- and sure enough, with a little time, the door clicked open and she was inside.
The rest was easy, you saw it in the movies- tear down the plastic, rip off the wires of the lock and start the truck by twisting them together...
Obviously the owner of this truck was already asleep or on the toilet at this point, or he might want to have a few words with Yureka about this. Not that she´d care, she just drove over to Hans, still getting used to the huge turning circle and nearly tearing a signpost off.
"That´d be the first step. What´s next...?"

Hans climbed into the truck on the passenger side and gazed out with red eyes, he was ready for the mission by this point and they couldn’t afford to be tardy. He gestured for her to be careful when she knocked over the signpost, though he just shook his head slightly as he kept his eyes on the road. The Captain was working out the finer points in his head; his impassive look betrayed the almost dead persona underneath. About five minutes from the barracks he gestured for his accomplice to park in a clump of trees for cover, getting out he surveyed the walls, this would be a tough nut to crack yet if they were silent it would be easy.

Within the high security military base, search patrols moved as normal.  Two man groups circled the perimeter of the base in roughly two minute intervals.  Bolstering their sweeps, three glaring searchlights were aimed out at the surrounding fields and forests, occasionally flowing over the tree line to deter any who would grow too comfortable.  Out of the two main gates into the base, the front was being supervised by a rather surly officer who had most likely seen the last of his promotions for the rest of his career.  Bitter and angry, he ran a tight ship over the few men in his section of the security force, regularly forcing them to go through tedious and time consuming vehicle searches at random to "keep them sharp".  In all honestly he simply took some comfort in putting other in a similar state of distress as himself.  Sitting down for a cup of coffee in the guard station at the front gate, he looked down the lonely road used by incoming supply trucks.  Things had quieted down for a while. Only another hour until his shift finally ended.

Parking the truck and disconnecting hte wires for now, Yureka hopped out of the truck, her MP 41 at the ready as they observed the nearby base. To say it was heavily guarded was an overstatement, at best it was the standard patrol they kept to keep intruders out. But if they slipped up, things might get ugly very fast.
The man on guard duty that was slacking off a little caught her eye. It was a bit dark, so he probably couldn´t see her insignia very well... still, she opened her coat to an extent, undoing her weapons belt for now.
"I`ll try and convince him to let us in... wait here for a second." Yureka said, handing him her deadly tools without a second thought, then she walked over to the guard, slowly and carefully, a smile growing on her face as the half open coat showed a bit of her black bodysuit underneath it, some of her curves coming to show.
"Guten Abend, Soldat.." She called out cheerfully, heading cleary into his direction. "So allein hier...? Du musst einsam sein, monatelang von zuhause weg, ohne Freundin die dir beisteht.. Wie wäre es wenn ich dir etwas helfe..?"
As if on cue, her coat slipped off, her suit coming into sight- having stunned him enough with this surreal encounter, Yureka bowed forward to kiss him- though as soon as their lips collided, the arm she wrapped around his neck made it crack, his eyes rolling inward as his gurgling noise of death was muted by her lips.
As his body went limp, she placed him back down, his coffee in hand, a cap he wore pulled down over his eyes to make it seem like he was taking a nap.

Her eyes returned to their harsh glare, picking up her coat she waved the Captain over.
"Its clear."

Following after Yureka The Captain made sure to move quickly and quietly, slip-ups at this point wouldn’t be a good idea, they had to move with speed and act with precision to succeed. He noted that she had no qualms with killing the man in cold blood, sneaking around like this depressed him, but honour had little place in a fight for survival. World War One Should have taught me that he thought viciously as he prepared to go for the objective, he stepped into the front office where the dead officers corpse was. This might prove easier than expected if they’re all this complacent The Captain mulled it over in his head for a second; he gestured for Yureka to wait a second as he turned to mist. In this form he could check where the troops were without fear of detection, and he could move quieter. The Place was quiet, and dimly lit, most of the troops being in bed would mean that they had to be careful not to wake them.

Patrol went as usual for the guards. Two rounded the corner, talking among themselves as they moved back to the front of the base. Seeing their boss in what appeared to be sleep, they took the opportunity to pull one over on their hard-ass commander. However, when one of them went to lift his hat to draw various phallic objects and words on his face, the man's head fell back into an unnatural bend. Horrified and shocked, the men stumbled around for a moment before radioing to the other guards that someone had killed their commanding officer. In a few moments, the entire base would be alive with stamping boots and guns rattling. Though unsure of who or what to look for, it was generally assumed the killer was still in the base. A lockdown was the obvious choice of action. All exits sealed, no one could escape until the intruder was found.

Well, that went belly up pretty fast... they had been spotted, and their only chance of seeing this through was to create as much chaos as possible.
Yureka had left her coat behind in a bush, as it was not needed right now and her black bodysuit was far more stealthy than a dark green coat. Naturally, she took the weapons of the dead guard before going into hiding, a G-36 K assault rifle with four magazines, two of which clipped together on the gun itself as well as a P8 pistol with two extra magazines.
She had jumped over the outer fence, moving from shadow to shadow as she slowly approached the main complex- She was told to wait for Captain`s return, but that wasn`t an option anymore if she didn´t want to get caught.
As she reached her destination- the backside of the building- she took out her new P8, took off the safety after a quick study and put it to use- three precise shots cut the power cables from the ground, the searchlights dying off as well as the lights in the building.Communications, telemetry, internet connection- their entire chain of command depended on electricity, and now all they had was some cellphones and old, outdated radios.
Here`s hoping thats the last of our troubles. Don`t wanna go looking for a backup generator or something now.
Biting her lip at those thoughts, the vampire assassin jumped onto the roof of the main building with one leap, overseeing the chaos they had caused from a birds eye view.

The Captain solidified as the alarms blared, he ran down the corridors to where the men would be billeted. Leaving his Mauser’s holstered he stepped into the first one and proceeded to clear it, in the darkness he was king. They scrambled out of beds only to get smashed against the wall by kicks from Hans, this was going easier than he initially expected. As he cleared the room he kept his ears tuned in to what was going on around him, if they were quick and stealthy they could kill every soldier inside and get out before dawn. He sped up his assault and within a minute moved onto the next room to empty that one, this was getting repetitive, but he wouldn’t get complacent.

The soldiers outside were running around like lunatics, fractically trying to find the intruder with flashlights- good. Seems like turning the power back on was not going to be so simple for them...
Hanging onto the edge of the roof, she slipped off and intentionally crashed into the highest story of the building, through the window. The glass shards looked like fairy dust in the moonlight, and a few lonely bullet holes were made around the windowframe... but she was already inside by that point.
An office. Lonesome. Some guy panicking in the corner, desperately trying to find the exit- Yureka could see him clearly and, deciding that there was no point in consuming ammo, she went over and kicked his face against the wall, which broke his nose, his skull and his neck the instant the hit connected. An intoxicating smell came from him a second later, and she took a moment to lick his face clean of the blood before continueing. The door was locked- he was probably sleeping in his office, or working overtime. No matter- Yureka simply pushed against the door until the lock broke out of the wooden door, giving way for her to advance.
Now all she had to do was find the armory...

The Captain carried on his rampage, silently in the darkness with little stars and a lot of cloud cover there was no light. He snapped the necks of anyone he found with a slight twitch of his arm, there wasn’t anything standing in his way. One of the men seemed to panic and brought out a pistol, calling out around him he thought he was alone. Then as the Captain neared him he put the pistol against his head, he heard the footsteps and with a grimace and a cry of fear blew his brains out. Cowardice the Captain thought darkly, he would show them the meaning of true battle before the night was through, cowards were beneath his contempt.

He kicked the body aside and went into the next room, his mission was going well and if he could carry on like this it would be over very shortly. He wasn’t about to let up his silent and quick assault for anything, this was his time to cut lose a little, despite the fact that his opponents were scared they fought on. That was what made it for the Nazi, seeing his people fight on despite the fear. That was courage, and that was honour in its purest form.

On the other end of the base Lieutenant Bridgette Mueller sat in her office working on some last minute reports. As the Commander's Personal Aide she had been assigned to finish his work while he got to go to bed in the barracks. Lieutenant Mueller moved the cursor to save the file but her eyes widened in the darkness as the lights and every other electronic device in the building went out. "What the hell?" Mueller muttered. Everyone in the building began to walk about trying to make sense of what was going on at the camp. She looked down at a small light shining through the fabric of her jacket pocket and pulled out her vibrating cell phone. "Lieutenant Mueller speaking..." She said.

"Lieutenant the Commander is dead!! We are under attack!!" A man on the other end of the line screamed. Bridgette's eyes widened she then heard the sound of a gunshot. "Hello!? Hello!?" Mueller called frantically. A small group of soldiers were now standing around her staring at her for guidance. Mueller had little not combat experience but at the moment she was highest ranking officer. "Get Emergency Power back on I want the CIC up and operational in 5 minutes now!!" Mueller said quickly springing into action. She turned to another group "Get a group of our fastest men arm them and get them to wake the troops in the other barracks buildings get them armed and mobilized on the parade grounds ASAP!!" Mueller ordered. The men and women she'd spoken to quickly rushed to their assigned tasks.

Bridgette took a deep breath before pointing at a small team of men "Your all with me let's go!" Bridgette said turning and heading toward the Building's Security Room where there was a small armory.

Back at the other end of the Base where the attack was occurring a few men were attempting to arm themselves in the Armory. However their attempts were impeded as the Quarter Master had been killed in the Initial Attack on the base. "Hurry get the door open!!" A Soldier yelled watching the hallway armed with his H&K P8 Pistol. "The Quarter Master has the fucking keys where is he!?" The man working on the door yelled. Other men were around them armed with their sidearms and a few Remington 870 shotguns and MP5 Submachineguns all shining lights down the hall waiting for any foe to arrive.

Yureka could hear some movement downstairs... seems as if they were finally catching on. Outside, on the parade grounds, a couple of men started to gather, and it seemed like they came from down below... was that where the armory was?
..Well, there was little sense in an armory in the first floor, she had to admit.
Checking her left and right, Yureka punched the ground underneath her, causing it to collapse and giving her an instant elevator ride down.
At this point, she grabbed her MP-41... no way they didn´t hear that.
A thousand men... turned out to be not much of a challange so far, but that could change very quickly. Maybe she should look for a tank rather than the armory.
Thankfully, she happened to find a couple of signs to guide her where she needed to go- one floor below. Time to find a staircase... she didn´t want to risk breaking the guns by pulling this stunt again.

The Captain was like a ghost and within a minute most of the sleeping quarters had been cleared, except for the top floor. After that he wouldn’t have to worry about soldiers scrambling out of bed to kill him and Yureka, with a silent breath he heard the sounds of the door opening and people running in. They were trying to rouse the dead, a pointless task. Running down the stairs and taking a mist form to avoid making sound he came across the group, they were entering the first few rooms to rouse the men. In the dark he moved to the leader, taking a solid form Hans snapped his neck like a dry twig. He gave a small yelp; this attracted the attention of his men. They ran out of the rooms to see what was going on, it appeared that they’d noticed the men were dead as well. They tried drawing weapons on the Captain yet as they got ready to make their attack they died, one took a kick to the chest that shattered his chest cavity. The rest he backhanded away from him, smashing their skulls with ungodly strength. He revelled in his power in a silent stare at the dead men, then he went back to his job of clearing the sleeping men.

Bridgette rushed into the Security room scaring the soldier on guard duty inside. "Open the Armory." She said quickly. The Soldier fumbled for the keys only to have them snatched from his hands as the Lieutenant quickly found the key to the gun lockers and opened them all. "Get me some runners we need as many men armed as possible!!" She called out grabbing armfuls of MP5's and Remington 870 shotguns and thrusting them into the arms of the men behind her. Men and women began to rush into the room arming themselves and leaving to gather on the parade grounds. Lieutenant Muller grabbed a Remington 870 and a slipped a few shells into her uniform pocket along with a few extra magazines for her USP.45 Tactical. Her eyes fell upon a belt of grenades sitting at the bottom of the locker that no one had grabbed. She thought about if for a moment before grabbing the belt and slinging it over her shoulder.

Around the base men and women were being awoken before the Captain could get to them rushing to arm themselves to fend off this attack upon their base. Due to the numerous buildings many were awoken before the Captain could reach them and soon Lieutenant Muller had amassed almost an entire company of troops. Bridgette took a deep breath the only lights in the area were the flashlights that many troops had gotten together to find. "The Enemy is in our Compound at the moment we believe they are centered around the main armory building all attempts to contact any units stationed there have been met with failure..." Bridgette said. "Who is the enemy!?" A soldier called. Lieutenant Muller scowled "We don't know however we have reason to believe the enemy is numerous any solid intel is lost to us as no survivors from the Armory sector have shown up..." She said.

"This is insane the guys at the Armory had to be armed to the teeth and they still got wiped out!!" A soldier called. Bridgette grit her teeth "Stow that shit!!" She growled silencing the soldier and every man and woman on the parade ground. "We...are soldiers we do not cry and whine about things we buck up and we deal with the threat...If anyone has any complaints about my orders get the fuck out of my sight!!" She hissed. The entire group was quiet as Bridgette's eyes scanned over the like a General surveying their troops which basically she was. "We'll be converging on the Armory in 9 man squads we'll be converging in a circle formation meaning there will be crossfire I want you to ensure you have a confirmed line of sight on the target before engaging react and adapt according to changes in the battlefield I'll relay additional orders to your NCO's via radio in the field am I understood!?" Bridgette called out. "Ma'am yes Ma'am!!" Almost the entire group called.

Within minutes the Armory was surrounded by German Army troops armed with a few G36 rifles and a multitude of MP5 Submachineguns and Remington 870 shotguns. "Move in squad leaders keep your lines tight and your weapons hot..." Bridgette said into her radio. Almost immediately the squads slowly began to move on the building.

Now there was some movement to speak of. She could hear people running around everywhere, loading weapons, clipping equipment to themselves- not a good thing, because the more guns were in use, the more effort had to be put into getting them. Maybe it was time to change tactics...
She could see a group of nine soldiers, barely dressed decently, half asleep and armed with with the bare necessities... they didn´t wear helmets, which made her job easier. They hadn´t noticed her yet... thanks to being clad in black and standing in the shadows. As they got into reach, twenty steps away from her, she whipped up her P8 and fired, nine times, one head after another... a tenth shot had to be fired after that, because one of those dudes actually survived the initial bullet... odd, but who cared. A quick brass check confirmed that there was only one bullet left in the magazine, so she fired a third round into his head and ejected the empty mag before slipping in a new one- no need to load through, the chamber was hot.
A radio attached to his waistband caught her eye.
"Is that thing on?" She muttered, pressing the button which was labeled to speak with.
"Good night, ladies and gentlemen... would the leader of this battallion kindly answer so we can discuss the terms of your unconditional surrender to the Millenium."
Lets see what that`d do. Taking the radio along and pushing the corpses aside for now, she continued to look for the main armory.

The Captain heard the sounds of Jack boots as men got up and started to try and find the silent killers of the men on the base. Now was the time to show himself and use his strength to inspire fear, now was the time to wipe everyone out so that there was nothing left when he was finished. With a flourish he ran up the stairs to the top floor of the block he was in, rather than going in room by room he ripped through the walls. Running through with whirls and kicks he ripped the place apart and ripped apart the flesh of his enemies, his boots were getting covered in the congealing blood of the soldiers as they tried getting dressed. His assault never let up, with the last soldier dead he landed. Bending his knees to dampen the sound, The Captain decided he should wait for the soldiers to gather on the parade ground. Then he could wipe them out with one fell swoop, running downwards to the bottom floor he slipped into the shadow of the door and listened, waiting for the men to assemble. He would wait, his prey would gather for him, ready for their deaths.

Lieutenant Muller was watching the entire operation from afar and already she'd heard the sounds of gunfire however the bout was short and hearing no reports of confirmed kills or contact worried her. "Someone give me a s-" She started only to be cut off as a new voice began speaking over the radio channel. "All teams hold position..." Bridgette said over her radio as she listened.

"Good night, ladies and gentlemen... would the leader of this battallion kindly answer so we can discuss the terms of your unconditional surrender to the Millenium."

Bridgette scowled and pressed the transmit button. "This is Lieutenant Muller who are you and explain your acts of violence against the Bundeswehr..." She said. A few men around her looked over at her. The other teams in the field were holding their positions as they listened to the exchange. "Who is this Millennium and why should we surrender to you? Your surrounded by 225 German Army troops you've no chance of victory..." Lieutenant Muller said. This was a bluff she had no idea what these Millennium people were capable of so far with the astronomical casualties already sustained they seemed quite dangerous already.

Her head turned however as she heard what sounded like metal being ripped apart and her eyes widened as a large man smash through a wall landing on the ground floor using the body of a dead soldier as a cushion before dashing away. Her words got caught in her throat as she witnessed the act of brutality she could see other soldiers lying dead in the hole it had just ripped through. "Teams Delta and Foxtrot pursue new contact now!!" She said quickly

Immediately 18 Bundeswehr Troops rushed after the Captain now completely awake most of the troops raised their weapons as the threat they had only heard about just became extremely real.

A smirk appeared on her face as Yureka walked calmly through the corridors, listening to Bridgette Müllers voice.
"Miss Müller, good day to you. You have a nice voice, do you know that? I`d like to meet you sometime, when i get the chance... My name is Oberleutnant Yureka Espada, from der letzte Battallion." She said that last bit through clentched teeth. "Well, why should you surrender? Let me put it this way. If no one ever told you that bullets fly straight, what would you do? Would ou try to curve them around corners like in some hollywood movie, or shoot at people thinking they`ll fly off to the side? No, probably not. Now, if i told you just now that you´ve got nothing, absolutly nothing to threaten us with- what would you do? You`re out of your league. We might be outmanned, but you lot are only humans. We have no interest in killing you, Bridgette... -can i call you that?- If we wanted to kill you... well, i`ve got command over twenty elite soldiers, who went through seven wars during their lifetime, are armed to the teeth and do not die when they´re shot in the head. My companion, Hauptmann Hans Günsche, has command over almost eight hundred men... if we wanted to kill you, well, safe to say, this place would no longer exist."
She stopped her conversation briefly as she discovered a sealed room, which reminded her of an armory. Punching her hand through the doorlock, she opened it and peeked inside- a groan followed. Just the munitions storeage. Important, but not her priority target right now.
"What we want is your technology. Your equipment. Your weapons... you can keep your lifes for all we care, but i`m afraid to say your men raised the alarms so quickly we had no choice."
A thought came into mind, and she grinned lightly.
"Where are you, Bridgette...? Talking over the radio like this is silly. I want to look you in the eyes."

The Captain stayed in the shadows while waiting for encounter to play out, there was little to be achieved by going out without well thought out moves. The soldiers had been put off by the encounter and backed off slightly, they were ready to charge yet the threat of what awaited them kept them at bay. Hans didn’t want to reveal all his power just yet, for now they had seen a glimmer of his strength. They would see more if they didn’t back down, though if the commander had no place to move to then she might be more willing to talk.

The Captain turned into mist, spreading himself out to make him nearly invisible in the darkness by human eyes. The door itself was slightly open, so with all his speed he moved through it in his mist form and proceeded to move through ranks of men at over twice the speed of human reaction. The Captain knew how to end this, get the brain out of the way and the men didn’t know what to do. He solidified just behind Miss Muller; he spun on the spot to stand just behind her. Doing nothing yet he was more effective because of that, standing there as a promise of good conduct he placed his Mauser’s on the ground. He touched a hand to his chest; his Dog Tags were still there. With a look of thunder on his face he stood completely still, now was the time for talking.

Bridgette was quiet as Yureka's voice sounded over every radio within range. Every soldier in the area seemed a bit confused. Suddenly the troops behind her let out panicked yells causing her to turn around. She found herself face to face with a man way taller than her. The very sight of him left her slightly intimidated as her troops trained their weapons on the man. Lieutenant Muller held her hand up and lowered it. A few of the men looked at her questioningly but lowered their weapons. She brought the radio to her lips "Alright...come outside...we'll talk..." Bridgette said. She had no idea how this man had moved so quickly but now she felt vulnerable.

"Let her though...don't engage I repeat do not engage..." Bridgette said over her radio. There was something inside of her that told her that if they continued to fight she'd just take unnecessary loses. And so far the casualties had been for nothing. "You want our technology...our weapons..." She said calmly. "All these soldiers died so you could get a few guns?" She hissed glaring at the Captain with a hateful glare in her eyes. Bridgette was angry she was angry that she felt nothing could be done to stop these people she was angry that so many soldiers had to die in vain.

Now that being stealthly was no longer necessary, Yureka put on her coat again, taking the guns off of the dead soldiers and strapping them together into a bundle- a bunch of G-36s and Remingtons. No sidearms. Must`ve been in a real hurry to get out there and fight.
What she did take, though, were the combat knives they had- because when she looked out towards the parade grounds, that field might as well be undermined.
Taking the bundle under one arm, her fist smashed through a supposedly bulletproof window and tossed nine knives precisely in a zig-zag formation into the ground- before jumping out, hopping from one knife hilt to another- each jump at least a dozen meters wide.
Finally, she arrived on a small gravel pathway and approached Hans, Bridgette and a group of nervous looking soldiers with their fingers on their triggers.
"Nice timeing, Captain." She praised, putting the bundle down for now. "There`s a munition storage room next to the window i came through- if you want you can start loading the truck with the contents, i got this."
With that said, she walked over to the woman with the pale bronze insignia of a lieutenant, grinning a bit.
"Miss Müller, i`m assuming...? You´re cuter than i thought you`d be... your face matches your voice."
She extended her hand for a greeting, her red eyes gazing into the ones of the human woman.
"Yureka Espada. You`ve fought admireably."

The Captain watched the proceedings with an eye for detail, he was sure that this would prove quicker and in itself far more efficient than clubbing through the base. The Captain ddin’t mind death and destruction, but against opponents that could barely defend themselves it was merely slaughter. There was no honour in stealthy killings, though war is hardly a place for high morals he mused to himself slightly. Though what made this even worse was the unneeded spilling of German blood, Hans had never believed in “the master race” or any concepts like Herrenvolk and Untermensch though these were still his people. He still had German blood, though he was undead, he still had strong ties due to that blood that were stronger than steel.

Bridgette shot both Yureka and The man behind her cold glares they weren't the least bit intimidated which in turn intimidated her. These two had just waltzed into the base and murdered a good percentage of it's garrison in only about a few hours and for the first of those hours they hadn't even known they were there. She felt so ashamed of herself she was acting commander of the base while the CO was absent and she'd let things go to shit so easily. "Don't flatter me..." Bridgette muttered as she listened to Yureka speak of her battle skills.

"If I had fought admirably I wouldn't be breathing right now..." Bridgette said. The soldiers around her were slight unsure as to what to do. A few of them were ready for the lead to start flying and were unsure why the CO had called this cease fire. In their eyes they had the advantage freakish or not the enemy was exposed this was the perfect opportunity for their counter attack. The rest of the men however were intimidated by these two beings infront of them they'd witnessed things no human being would ever be capable of performing and it scared them.

(sorry it's so short)

"If you would, i wouldn´t have said that. If the commander dies, the command structure falls apart, and your men would have died as well- you`ve also saved their lives by agreeing to a ceasefire. Thats admireable." Yureka explained, seeing Hans silently ignoring her. Be that way, big guy. She´d handle this.
Her eyes travelled over the human woman in front of her- careful not to take too much time, she admired how this fragile being was still standing- in fear and in shame, but nevertheless, she was standing and spitting in her face, verbally. She`d broken her defenses and planted the seed of fear, but Bridgette seemed to refuse to let it grow. Despite being a vastly superior lifeform, despite being armed to the teeth and despite the fact that she was uninjuried after raiding a military base, Bridgette stood there and showed her teeth, hissing at her.
She began to understand why Alucard apperantly liked humans.
"Well, are we going to talk this over, or are you just going to back away?" She said, lowering her hand again- she obviously wasn`t going to shake it. "The police will be here soon, and although we could use some more guns and equipment from them, i´d rather not cause more trouble than necessary. Like i said- we only want your weapons, ammunition, hand grenades and preferrably body armor, though that one´s not really important. Those puny rifles can´t hurt us either way."
Saying this she turned around to face her men.
"What do YOU say t to that? No one else will have to die- and anyone who helps loading the goods into our truck- hell, i´d give you a chance to join the Millenium."

She was lying through her teeth- there`s no way Major would allow these frightened budgies to join their ranks, they´d just be fed to the troops. Bridgette... she didn`t know about. She might be able to sneak her in, or demand her as a trophy or something...

Almost instantly a few of the more frightened troops rushed into the buildings likely to follow the orders of the supernatural woman in front of them if not out of fear for their lives but out of desire to receive the power they'd witnessed used upon them. Bridgette grit her teeth as she watched the men formerly beneath her command so easily follow the orders of another but she chose to say nothing it was obvious who they feared more between the two. The men who seemed a bit more twitchy on the triggers were glaring daggers at Bridgette. "Ma'am this is bullshit we have them right where we want them!!" A soldier called. Bridgette clenched her fist and turned on her heel walking around the huge man behind her. "Oh really!? Haven't you seen the casualties already sustained!? Haven't you been listening!?" Bridgette growled.

The men seemed a bit taken aback as their Commanding Officer screamed at them. "I'm trying to keep you people alive dammnit!!" Bridgette yelled. She looked over all the men under her command and closed her eyes somewhere deep inside she knew this was a lie. If she'd never heard of this Millennium before she doubted they wanted anyone to know of their existence. At the end of the night she knew that she and none of these men would be leaving alive. Bridgette turned back to Yureka "Well...it seems you have what you came for...Now what happens?" Bridgette muttered sourly. She hated this feeling of vulnerability she hated that the woman in front of her seemed to capable of destroying her with a simple twitch of the wrist. And somewhere deep inside she wanted that power. Her years as a Lieutenant in the Bundeswehr were being spent behind a desk when what she'd enlisted for was to fight for her country. But she was denied that chance just because she lacked something hanging between her legs. And the thought made her angry the woman infront of her was the epitomy of what she'd wanted to be. A soldier and a damn good one.

Power hungry fools they were. Rushing off like puppies to fullfill the order she had given- and confirming that was not, despite the looks, a minefield, since they ran straight through it.
Even Hans had to be resisting the urge to smack his forehead at this point... did they really think they`d hand out this kind of power just because they helped to load up their own weapons?
Still, it was Major`s choice, not hers. If he thought those kids were soldier material, they`d live... but she had seen what happens to traitors within the ranks of Millenium, or traitors who wanted to join.

Bridgette- she was different. While Yureka had been ready to smash those guys into red paint as they started to yell, she just yelled straight back and brought them to order. A strong woman, and a good leader- despite having a bad fellowship.
"What happens is that we´ll leave. We´ve got a tight schedule- as soon as the day dawns this place will be a lot more lively, and i want to be long gone by that point. I`ll keep my promise, Bridgette- no one else will have to die." Yureka said that in a completely serious tone. She could be decieving and she was a trained infiltrator, but a liar she was not.
"Half of your troops seem to be eager to join us." She commented, watching the few men that were still in her sight run to fullfill their questionable duty. "But what about you? There`s no evidence we`ve ever been here, your arsenal has been raided by us and people are dead, they`ll put you on trial, put the blame on you for the media´s sake and you`ll be locked up for the rest of your life for a crime you didn`t commit. ... i wouldn´t suggest you make it like these fools and believe we`ll just hand them out our kind of power just because they´ve run an errand for me, but....
A light smirk appeared on her face- one might even call it a friendly one.
"I haven´t been a high ranking officer for a long time... don´t have an Adjutant yet- plus, while our Major doesn`t like Traitors, you wouldn`t betray anyone by following a suggestion of mine, right?"

Bridgette watched as her men ran about loading ammunition and weapons into the truck nearby. The word seemed to be spreading fast as even men and women from the parade grounds had abandoned their gear to go assist. The temptation of power ruled the hearts and minds of these people way stronger than any god or leader ever could. Watching it made her sick these men had no code of honor and no self respect. Finally she turned to Yureka as she began to speak of what her fate would likely be. Prosecution, Incarceration, Scorn and Death. She clenched her fist not in anger but at acknowledgement that the woman in front of her was completely right. No one would believe her claims they'd just use her as a scapegoat to protect the wonderful reputation of the German Army.

She looked Yureka in the eyes and saw the look in her eyes "Is it really betrayal if the betrayed is really the betrayer?" Bridgette said somewhere deep inside she wanted to be Yureka. She wanted to be a real soldier not a secretary doing paper work late at night or fetching Coffee for the Commander or filing his paper work she could do more than that she knew she could but she'd never been given a chance to show that. "They'd arrest me...parade me around as a military failure...Scorn me and Ridicule me..." Bridgette said looking around at the men scurrying about like rats. "They've already betrayed me...Everyone has...The question is...will you?" Bridgette said staring Yureka in the eye watching for any sign of deceit.

Yureka`s face stayed the way it was- because Bridgette could be read like an open book at this point. The woman was defeated, in every which way, the people she trusted ran off on her, the mission she`d been given failed catastrophically, the enemy looked her in the eyes and told her it was no use... and facing with the ultimate insult to injury, a prosecution just for the sake of prosecution, she began to long for the Millenium. She`d seen this before, but... most men and women broke much easier.

Bridgette was attractive. She was a trained soldier, just like herself. Her blood would certainly be delicious, but.. if she did that, the woman would just die. That wasn`t going to happen.
"I wont." She responded, quiet and deadpan serious. "If you want a fight, i´ll show you one like you`ve never seen before. If you want power- you´ve seen a miniscule amount of mine. And if you want to be taken seriously- this is your chance, right here. I´ve never heard of someone making fun of the Millenium, but i think i´ve heard all the jokes about the Bundeswehr being useless chumps who sit around in Afghanistan all day, waiting to be shot by terrorists because they´re not allowed to return fire."
Yureka approached her a bit closer, their eyes never letting off their gaze, as her gloved hand gently stroked over the woman´s cheek.

Bridgette stared into Yureka's eyes for another moment there wasn't any lies to be told or deceit to be had within them. Just the truth the Bundeswehr and almost every other army in the world was man dominated. Women like her the women who wanted to fight were never given a chance to show what they could really be capable of. But standing infront of her now was her ticket to become what she'd always known she was capable of becoming. A soldier not a girl wearing the uniform being told to be some glorified secretary. But an actual soldier maybe not of her own country but at this point why would she wish to serve a country that would just ruin her to protect it's own hide.

"I'm sick of it...All of it...The Political Bullshit, The blame, The Sexism I'm done...You can keep your power all I want is that chance to become the person I enlisted to be...A soldier..." Bridgette said. She looked around at all the men and women standing around them the truck seemed to be full now. Bridgette looked away and back at Yureka "And what about them...What will become of them? Bridgette asked. She was still their CO and as much as their betrayal angered she needed to know that they'd at least be given a chance. They'd followed her orders for a short while before they let their minds be clouded by power and for that she'd gotten her first real taste of command.

Yureka followed her gaze to the soldiers, who were finishing up their work- the Bundeswehr had experience with loading and unloading things quickly, may it be an ox cart, a few hundred thousand sandbags or in this case, weapons and ammunition.
"Well... i´ll do what i can for them, but if i`ll be honest, i don´t see much hopes for them. At best they`d bolster our troops, but they´ve got absolutly no idea what they`re signing up for. Becoming like me is just a sting with a needle and a chip implated into your neck, but you also need to learn how to harness and use this kind of power. Not to mention they`ve got no understanding of what Millenium stands for."
She gazed back at Yureka.
"In case you couldn´t tell, we`re not exactly saints."
She wanted to say more, but the sound of a siren caught her ear. Distant, but still good enough to hear... the cops arrived, and it was bound to be a lot of them if this scale of operation was anything to go by. The media would be there shortly, too.
"We need to move, Captain. Bridgette`s coming with us." She said in her ususal soldier voice, rather than the somewhat sensible voice she used when talking to her.

The Captain gave a slow nod as he heard the conversation come to a close, he wasn’t happy with the outcome if only for the fact the female Yureka wanted was going to throw everything away. Power was power, but losing humanity was one of the worst things someone could do, if it wasn’t for the chain of command and the mission Hans didn’t know what he would do. He wanted to reach out to the lady and shake her, shout into her face and remind her that she was human and she was better than any unholy monster. Yet she seems to want to become one of Doc’s creatures, I swore to myself once that I would turn nobody though I can’t do anything about this. It’s her choice he thought sadly. The outcome made him want to retch, he wanted to scream and smash everything due to the stupidity of it all, and the futility of everything he was doing. Instead he kept a blank face, and merely went to get in the truck to return to the zeppelin.

His only sign of annoyance were his eyes, his brow furrowed slightly though the movement was hidden by his cap. He brought it slightly lower down and gave his usual ominous stare, people cleared room for him as he walked towards the truck. He wished he didn’t care, his detachment had grown a lot since the war and now he didn’t care about much except his dog tags and his legacy. Though an issue like this made him feel like the boy who had been savaged all those years ago, the werewolf’s teeth were sharp still in his memory though looking back on it the “monster” had merely been a cub. The feelings came back; he felt the urge to burn everything. He couldn’t handle this, the woman was throwing away the humanity what made her so special in order to claim the so called “power” of the FREAKs. She was going to be left a husk and a shell of herself, a creature so depraved that one wouldn’t recognise her from now. I DON’T CARE! he screamed in his head as the voices and the memories welled up to haunt him. They stopped and as always he was left with his thoughts, yet he became painfully aware of the Dog Tags and the cool metal that rested on his chest.

Bridgette bit her lip as she pondered her decision in her mind. She'd seen what these people were capable of and part of her wanted to possess that power badly. This was the part of her that was human nature that and the want to be recognized as a soldier and not as glorified eye candy in a uniform. But another part deep within her scratched at the walls of her mind screaming at her that this was a mistake. And that her humanity wasn't worth what losing it had to offer. She brushed these thoughts away however as she moved to follow Yureka.

Her gaze moved over to the man who Yureka referred to as "The Captain" she then turned her gaze upon her men and frowned. She began to wonder if she really was any different from these men scurrying about for the chance at power. Had she just gotten lucky she recalled hearing Yureka speak simply about her appearance and voice. Was she like so many others who just admired her body. She closed her eyes shaking her head steeling herself against her doubt her choice was made already as she wouldn't change it.

Despite the withdrawal, a police helicopter made its appearance as it came over the hillside- shining down a bright searchlight to look for the hostile targets. Huffing with a frown, Yureka grabbed her G-36 to aim it up at the mechanized dragonfly and fired- the first shot took the searchlight out, the second the co pilot- a burst of seven rounds then broke off one of the rotor blades, before another shot took out the pilot who fracticially tried to keep his craft steady... the helicopter sunk down towards the ground, somewhere behind the barracks.
"Go, go, go.. move it already!" She growled at her two companions, jogging over the parade grounds towards the street where the truck was. But bad luck seemed to come up as the police sirens had reached them, doors opening and slamming shut, weapons being loaded and orders shouted.
"Great, more troublemakers." She groaned... much to her surprise, as seven cops emerged from the front gate, they didn´t hesitate a moment to open fire with their puny P99 pistols.
Easily dodging the bullets as they came, Yureka eventually spotted one that was headed for.. Bridgette`s abdomen. Narrowing her eyes, the vampire stood in front of her in an instant, the bullet hitting the steel skin underneath her bodysuit.
"You.. you would attack a member of your own army without hesitation? A member of your state? Your country?"
Needless to say, the G-36 was up at eye level within a heartbeat, held with one hand.
"I suppose some humans simply don´t deserve any better." She muttered over the gunfire before her own rifle took them out in seven precise shots.

Inspecting their corpses for survivors, Yureka gestured forward.
"Come on. We`re almost there... the engine´s running. You sit in the middle, Bridgette, Cap and I can take a few bullets coming from the side."

The Captain hurried on to make sure that the last bit of the mission went well, with a flourish he moved at full speed into the police that were just outside the compound. He jumped into them spinning out, his kicks flying at high speeds at the heads of the men he fought. The Captain never stopped moving as he ploughed through the group; his feet lashing out constantly faster than a normal human could react. I won’t back down from this, I am tired of holding back and now I can finally let loose, I need this, he thought with a savage light starting in the otherwise empty recesses of his heart.

Having taken the guns of the seven dead police officers as well, Yureka proceeded to the truck, where the Bundeswehr soldiers finished up by climbing aboard the back and closing up the doors from the inside- all she had to do was jump in, restart the engine and get her two companions.
Bridgette followed suit, and she just resulted to picking Captain up on the scruff of his neck and pulling him into the truck, before she started driving down the road with top speed.
Naturally, the remaining police got into their cars, a whole two of them, but even though they were much faster than this one, fully loaded truck, they didn´t count on her near perfect vampireic aim- firing back at them, two bursts took the drivers out and the cars were out of commision. They probably got their licence number, but Millenium would dispose of the truck soon anyway.

----------

A whole fifteen minutes, and thirty-five kilometers down the road they came to a halt as the moon darkened in front of them. Nudging Bridgette`s side, Yureka smirked at her.
"See that? Thats the Deus Ex Machina II, our flagship... thats were we`re going now."
With that said, the giant red and black monstrocity came into view, its forward cannons glaring menaceingly at them, twelve dozen windows illuminated by electric light- Yureka had to get out of the truck and help with the landing cables as they had a habit of giving off electric sparks, but this time it worked out like a charm- the massive ship sat down and extended a ramp- within less than ten minutes, they had driven the truck loaded into the loading bay and closed the hatch- the cables were pulled out of the ground by electric motors, and aided by the gas in its main hull, the Deus Ex lifted off again, with no cops able to stop it in time.

------>The Deus Ex Machina

(OOC: Seeing how the mission is over and the extra guns are no longer needed, Yureka has her standard loadout again.)

Seventeen hours after the attack, a private helicopter landed near the Generaloberst Beck barracks. Aboard were, aside from the pilot, two people- A blonde, tall woman with short hair, stern eyes and a furry coat covering up most of her body, and a pale, black haired girl, slightly smaller, with her long hair tied into twintails, clad in knee high trekking boots, black jeans, a thick cotton tank top and a thick black coat with a furry collar that she buttoned up to the neck... jumping out of the helicopter, she put on sunglasses almost instantly.

"I doubt you need to look cool when we`re investigating a mass murder scene, Mato. This isn`t CSI." Christie commented, holding back a snicker. Mato didn´t even look at her, but started to walk towards the main gate right away.
"Its not to look cool. Years ago when i was playing with my mom in the snow, a car drove by with its headlights pointed down into the ice. The next thing i saw was the face of some doctor telling me i´ll be fine- turns out my eyes can easily get snowblind. We´re in the mountains, so i´m not taking risks." Mato explained, her gloved hands stuck in the pockets of her coat. A sigh escaped her, thinking back to those peaceful days, but she had no time for nostalgia- they had a murder case on their hands, one that reeked of Millenium.

Vladimir Kuznetsov sighed as he looked down at the tree where over 60 years ago he carved a pair of names.  Dressed in his old Red Army Jacket and Russian fur cap, his black army boots shined, and his rifle slung over his shoulder; the former Red Army Master Sargeant sighed as he bowed to the graves in quiet content prayer.  "Dimitri......Vasillie.....I hope you have found a true worker's paradise in the next life.  Maybe it was for the best that you didn't see the whore our Motherland turned into, or the Mafia state it is today.  The true workers died with you.  Now I am all that is left of our unit.  Rest in peace my friends" the Russian werewolf thought as he bowed his head and removed his hat in silent salute.

As he lifted and put his hat back onto his head; as he did, his enhanced nose picked up the scent of blood in the air.  A scent he was all to familiar with, causing him to run on all fours towards the scent and as he did, Vladimir came to a stop on a crest of a hill and stood over a massacre.  He looked horriffied as he stalked down the ridge line and passed a few roving patrols of guards and german police. As he came to a stop he saw a guard standing near a tree having a smoke; as such Vladimir came up from behind the man and grabbed him in a sleeper hold. Covering his mouth so the man wouldn't scream, he waited until the man passed out before setting him on the ground in a sleeping position with his head pressed up on a rock.

This way, anyone passing by would assume the man had just drifted off due to a long night, and after confriming the man was still alive and breathing silently, Vladimir jumped into a nearby tree and flipped over into the area, and ran down to the bodies and began to look around, checking the bodies and looking at the wounds.  "What did this?  It doesn't even look human?  An animal maybe.....no I don't smell any bears or wolves nearby" he thought as he sniffed the air.  However he picked up an unusal scent in the air that caught him by surprise for a moment.

"Hmmm?  Wait a moment.....a smell of human and wolf?  But that couldn't be.....unless" Vladimir thought as he looked at his own hand and made a gripping motion of his hand.  However before he could think on it anymore, the sound of an encroaching helocoptor caused his ears to perk up.  Pulling a black scarf around his face, there by only expousing his eyes and what could be seen of his white hair from beneath his fur cap; Vladimir quickly ducked behind a nearby over turned police car and hid perfectly.  Watching from beneath the car, he saw the helocopter land and a pair of women wearing strange clothing get out.  One blonde and one dark haired.  Setting his rifle to the side for a moment, he watched as the two girls spoke to each oother, while gripping his Makarov pistol tightly in his right hand and slamming the chamber back to load it.

Weapons:
SVD Rifle-2 magazines, 10 bullets each.
Makarov Pistol- 3 magazines, 6 shots each.

(OOC: I think you misread something- there are seventeen hours between the Deus Ex Machina´s departure and Mato`s arrival. Integra literally heard of the attakc the next day and sent her out to investigate. No big deal though, i`ll roll with it.)

Christie twitched as she saw a glitter in the distance- no snow, no ice, but something manmade, a sniper scope`s reflection. Every muscle in her body tensed, as back in Iraq, this meant they had to duck for cover the instant they saw it.
"Mato... We`ve been spotted, a sniper by the looks of it."
The raven black haired japanese shrugged her shoulders and proceeded to make her way to the front yard, her boots echoing with each step in the mountains.
"Of course we are. We`re entering a sight where a thousand people, heavily armed people presumably died. We could be the culprits, potentially. I don´t think this is going to be easy."

"HALT! Betreten des Kasernengeländes für Zivilisten verboten!" shouted the guard post, who was now wielding not only an assault rifle, but heavy body armor and two people standing near the gate, keeping it closed and pointing their rifles towards Mato and Christie.
Sighing deeply, Mato picked out her I.D.
"I`m with the Hellsing Organization. We´ve been sent here to investigate the mass murder and disappearance of state property. No offense, but this isn`t something you can handle."
Realizing the girl wasn`t a german, the soldier repeated his words in broken english.
"No civilians are allowed past this point- turn around and leave!"

After a little arguement, Mato eventually realized that this blockhead wasn´t going to let her pass, so, picking out her cellphone, she dialed in a number.
"Hello? Major Mato Kuroi of Hellsing. I`d like to speak to Chancellor Schröder, please."
A brief wait later, and a smug little grin came up on her face.
"Yes, thank you for your time. Me and my partner have been sent to investigate the odd cirumstances of the.... yes, the same one. The guard won´t let us through, though. ....oh, sure. One second."
She grinned wider, handing the guard the cellphone who still thought of this as a rather poor attempt at fooling him to let her in.
"Its for you."
The guard took the phone, paled as he recognized the voice and went as stiff as a stature, saying nothing. After two minutes, he handed the phone back to her, shaking a bit, muttering a response.
"You can enter.. and you have full authority to investigate. Please make it brief."
Mato put her phone back into its pocket and nodded, proceeding through the gate, a blinking Christie in tow.
"Where the hell did you get the number of the german Chancellor?!"
"Hellsing has the numbers of all important NATO leaders. Just in case we need to get behind the red tape, like this time."

Usining his scoped rifle, Vladimir watched form his hiding place as he saw the two women talk to the guards. Centering his scope right on thier mouths, he was able to read thier lips somewhat. Most of what they said wasn't tangible, but he distincly saw the word, "Hellsing" be mentioned. "Hellsing? What in the name of God is Hellsing? Some sort of NATO spec ops unit?" he wondered as he kept hiddend and adjusted the scarf thta covered his face. Setting his rifle back down as he looked at one of the bodies nearby, he placed his gloved hand down and inspected the corpse in his own way.

By the smell of the bodies he could tell they had been dead for at least 12 hrs, and the wounds did resemble fire arms of a sort, but the exit wounds where abnormal at best. From what he could tell, it seemed a bullet went in one way, and a cannon ball came out the other. Looking at another body, he saw what looked like claw and bite marks of a sort like a kill from an animal. "Eviceration! Something tore this poor German man's insides out. Very sloppy; no real animal kills for pleasure" he thought as he set the body down. However as he did, his enhanced hearing picked up the sound of encroaching foot steps.

Ducking low behind the over turned car, Vladimir croached and pulled out a silencer; screwing it to the barrel of his Makarov, before waiting for the encroaching figure to either walk away or turn thier back.

Inside the base, the smell of gore was present all around, and many things were taped off- though they could just slip by and take a look at the carnage at hand.
Christie held her breath in order not to throw up at some points, Mato cringed in turn and covered her nose from the smell- some of those guys inside the barracks were sprayed across the room, others were halfway inside a wall. Quite clearly, no amount of human force could´ve done this- but they knew this much, no human could´ve commited this crime.
"We´re not gonna get much further looking at the bodies.. they were all shot by weapons found here in this place." Christie mentioned finally, averting her eyes from the sight she saw.

"I agree with you there. Lets find the camera room and look at some of the security tapes... maybe one of them got a bit ahead of themselves." Mato commented, turning away from the human gulash on the floor.

"Doubt it, but... yeah, why not. Maybe there`s something worthwhile on those tapes."

---------

Meanwhile, Vlad`s attempts to wait this out would be futile- the guards were on high alert after this incident, they wouldn`t even move to take a leak. And even so, if one of them left, the two remaining guards wouldn`t let him slip through- neither would their G-36 rifles allow it.

Vladimir looked up and saw a nearby german Soldier standing around and taking a quick survey of the area. Satisfied, the guard turned and walked back the way he came and Vladimir sighed silently before pockting his pistol. He then quietly and stealthly crawled towards the base wall, intent on following the two women who seemed to know more about what was going on then he did. First he tossed his rifle up and over the wall, then jumped up and grabbed the wall's edge, digging his claws into the stone. He cringged a bit as despite his new strength and claws,it still hurt digging them into stone, but then leapt up again with intention as he jumped over the top of the wall and landed with a soft thud next to his rifle.

Deciding the rifle would make him stick out like a sore thumb, Vladimir dumped his rile into a nearby wood pile and hidden beneath the wood. Vladimir then made sure his pistol was holstered near his side and then crawled quietly like a stalking animal near the abandoned video shed that servered as the surviallnce center for the base. He found a quiet and dark position next to the door way and waited by it, his ear by the door as he saw Mato and Christie go inside. His enhanced hearing allowed him to hear all they discussed while the darkness of the corner crevice hid him perfectly from view of the patrolling guards.

Inside the security checkpoint, the soldier on duty left his post for a few minutes to let them have a search through the tapes- they quickly discovered that the tapes ceased to record 17 hours ago.

"They must´ve cut the power when they entered. Damn... i was hoping for some recordings of the attack." Christie commented, ramming her fist into a wall.

"Its Millenium we`re talking about here- at least, we think they´re it. If they are, they don`t make mistakes- not a single one of them. If they aren`t... well, they`re not out problem then, the local hunting agency can take care of them." Mato added in, winding back the tapes to the point before they ceased to record. A soldier on guard, bored, suddenly looked another way and a woman Mato didn´t recognize approached him, dressed in a tight bodysuit. She seduced him, kissed him and when she let go, he`d ceased to move. She then just pushed the door open, followed by a tall man dressed in a thick coat and a cap- the recording stopped a second later, the woman having pulled out a pistol.

Mato rewinded again, thinking she was seeing things. The tape passed once more.
She rewinded again, and again, and again, until she covered her mouth. That gun on the tall man`s hip- a world war one issue Mauser pistol, but with a barrel as long as his lower body- there was no doubt about the identity of this man, nor about the presence of Millenium anymore.

"Holy... fucking... shit... That... thats..." Mato gasped, tripping back a bit as she stood up, her hand covering her mouth- even the image of that man caused her normally calm demeanor to change.

"What? What is it?!" Christie asked, holding her as she was obviously on shaky feet.

"That guy... thats their Captain, the second in command of Millenium- they call him the Butcher of Melmedy, Hauptmann Hans Günsche. ...This is no joke, Christie, no wonder those men were beyond being recognizeable. He`s a geniune, absolute monster, an elder werewolf. Probably the oldest one still alive."

Vladimir was stunned by what he heard from his hiding place. If not the mention of the "Elder Werewolf" as he was called; it was the word Millenium that stuck out the most. Hearing it brought back horrid memories from his time in the Great Patriotic War. His unit and commander had discovered it......a German base of sorts within Poland that had been completely destroyed before the Red Army had arrived. Though there was only wreckage when they arrived, his unit later learned from high Command of inhuman experiments being conducted at that base, and all the Allies would share with them was the group's code name, "Millenium."

If what they had seen at the Concentration and Death camps in Poland had been anything, to think of what they did at that House of Horrers sent a shiver down Vladimir's spine. Now he heard that such fasicist monsters still lived. It was a bit too much for Vladimir to take in and knew he he needed more answers. Thus after thinking it over, he decided that a more proper approach was necessary. Vlaidmir took a breath beneath his scarf covered face and pulled out his silenced Makarov pistol. He then slowly entered the room where the two women worked, thier backs turned to him as he entered. He then stood up and aimed the pistol at the two women as he then shut the door with enough noise to let the two know he was behind them, as he raised his pistol and aimed it at the back of Mato's head.

"I have a clear shot at both of your heads. Turn around with your hands raised and don't make a sound to your German friends. Believe me when I say I have killed more then my fair share of Germans" he said in his Russian accented English. He then used his free hand to lock the door and kept his pistol trained on the two women.

"I confess I have not heard the name Millenium in a long time. A very long time; it does not bring back pleasent memories, so I will ask this once. Who are you and what do you know of that group?" Vladimir asked as he inched closely to the girls pistol still raised in a professional soldier's stance.
