| He grunted as his fist impacted with Stein's free arm and started to tear through it, the impact had been such that 'other Serin' hadn't expected. Far from leaving it there, the rending of flesh and cracking of bone was heard, was it his or Stein's? If he was in any state to do so, he would have shrugged at the little voice putting these questions in his head. As it was however, he had a palm holding electrical currents travelling towards him. Without pause and without warning, Serin's right arm's bones dramatically increases in density, allowing for less conductivity than his flesh. He bent the shoulder and brought the 3 foot long protruding spike in front of his face to protect it.
As Stein's hand slammed into it, Serin was already attempting to shove his knee spike through this guy's lower chest. The visible electrical currents didn't travel far and dissipated from the bone within a matter of seconds. At this close proximity it would be hard to dodge, however it would be a simple step back. The knee was just a means to and end though, if he took that step back Serin would be pushing for more advance if not just to get further away from what Serin wanted to get away from. That and some part of his mind knew that Stein could end this, there was just so much resistance though, every time something happened, 'other Serin' ignored what he ought to be doing and drew on the survival instinct to use everything at his disposal.
The indirect control he had over the actions was about as much as he would have for the next couple of moments. If he was lucky, this would end shortly. Things didn't tend to go Serin's way though since he'd been here. While most of his limbs were preoccupied doing something his still had his left hand firmly around Stein's right, which continued to tear at the flesh in the immediate reach of his fingers. -------------- OOC-meh, that'll have to do for now

| This was truly fascinating. The boy didn't know when to quit, something he wasn't sure if it was annoying or commendable, but either way he had managed to successfully block the charged palm strike with yet another bone. His own experiment was turning out to be even more of a hassle than he'd originally thought it would be, but this was getting on his nerves. The urge to cut the boy open was growing despite his knowledge of how valuable he was alive, and thus needed to put an end to this before he painted the lab with Serins intestines.
A quick glance was all it took to notice the bone rising from Serins knee, intending to punch into his lower chest. A problem easily solved and one that could kill two birds with one stone. Clenching his grip on Serins right hand in response to the flesh that was being torn away by the boy's bony nails, he send an electrical current through their connected grip as he grabbed onto the bone used to block his electrical strike and cracked a deranged smile. Now with his grips locked, Stein slid his left foot back and turned - narrowly avoiding the knee-spike as he did so (which left a rather decent gash on his shirt) and used the twisting motion and his inhuman strength to try and pull Serin with his already unbalanced footing to literally fling the boy toward the wall on the other side of the lab like a ragdoll.
The drywall would most likely gain a new hole in it should it work, and Steins hand and forearm would surely gain a few new tears to show off before his regeneration would take care of it, but this was really the only way to knock some sense back into his assistant. If it didn't work then chances are the entire building would turn into a slaughter fest.

| His eyes shifted swiftly down at their connected grip as he realized what Stein was playing at, that was when the small voice in his mind moved. Taking advantage of those few milliseconds of confusion on his part, it was a small matter of...to put it simply, to not do anything. There wasn't any pain as the electrical current traveled through the muscle in his arm and made it tighten without his consent. Something that was intriguing as well as annoying, as he lost control there wasn't any more 'other Serin' could do. All was silent for the next few seconds and everything moved slowly, he watched Stein's hand grip the shoulder spike and start the slow tug. Why everything was moving slow, was beyond him, probably had to do with things happening that you couldn't change and gave you time to think about something else.
What was really happening, was Serin flying across the room and having a personality war, one which wasn't hard to silence. The blood had all but been forgotten in all the madness, and there was nothing more that 'other Serin' could stick himself to...there was no more reason for him to be here than there was any chance that Serin wasn't going to feel what came next. Even despite being numb all over, he felt the sudden impact with drywall even as he became calm and the personalities ceased their petty squabble. Leaving Serin to feel every little piece of bone sticking out of his flesh and each one of them pulling as they aided in tearing through the wall further. There was also the shattering of glass as he passed through the wall, but that was inconsequential as the back of his head collided with the tiling in the room opposite.
Rather than listen to his reflex action to get straight back up and continue whatever this was, Serin let his body go slack and skid along the floor, leaving a trail of his own blood from the wounds his bones had inflicted on himself. Serin's eyes went blank and waited for what came next and his slide stopped as he collided with a small wooden table. Not being sure what this room was used for, not really caring, he shifted his gaze into the top corner of his eyes, waiting for anything else coming his way.
"Thanks", Serin voiced his gratitude at having it all end, he wasn't sure how much more he could have handled. "Think I'm going to go have to find Elden after all this, apologize, pay for the damages and such, on that note, I trust this experience was enlightening for you?" he mused as he lay there unmoving, barely registering that he must still look like a thing out of nightmare sprawled out on the floor.

| OOC: Guess I'm skipping Check then too considering... -----------------------
Stein's deranged smile only grew as he sent Serin flying across the room and through the opposing wall, not caring about the damages that were inflicted by the action. Stein was physically unaffected by the damage he had done to himself to pull off that little stunt, unable to feel the pain a normal person would have, but the wounds themselves only grew. His right hand had been torn from the middle of his palm due to the bone that was previously impaling it, splitting his entire hand between his middle and ring finger down to the center of the palm, making it useless for the moment.
The bone previously impaling his forearm left its mark as well, tearing it open and shredding the flesh along the bone in his own arm, resulting in a shower of blood spurting out to paint the floor around him. Stein hunched over with his two arms dangling toward the floor like a puppet with its strings cut, a constant flow of blood dripping form the damaged appendages and pooling at his feet. Part of him was enraged due to him being unable to continue his research with these injuries, but it was easily quelled as he knew they would eventually regenerate.
The drugs currently circulating through his system didn't help, though this situation would give him some valuable information on his bodies limits should he discover them. The constant flow of blood pouring from the wounds began to slow as his body began preparing for the regeneration process, it was still a substantial lost of crimson life and would have only aided the drugs in their overall goal of attacking the madman's weakened mind if it hadn't been for the overall interest of the situation, but atleast the physical danger would be dealt with.
"Somewhat," He stood up straight as he responded, popping his neck as he seemingly calmed down for the moment, "I expected you to die from the adapting process." Stein trailed off as his gaze drifted over his shoulder toward the Chechen and Elden, making no attempt to mask his bluntness in his response to the downed Serin. The checkered man seemed to dealing with the problem, as if he hadn't already, but the thought of just letting the man walk away was a bit too much in the madman's mind. The chechen shouldn't be able to tell anyone about this, and even if he did Stein doubted anyone would believe him, so perhaps letting him go wasn't too much of a task to do considering his own situation.
An audible "tsk" escaped his lips as he looked back at his arms. Neither of them were in any condition to operate or continue his research, let alone dissect or mutate the would-be assailant. He'd have to wait until they'd finished healing, so he really had no choice but to let the man go if he wanted to leave.
How annoying. |

| Drogomir appeared to ignore the checkered man's words, but in truth, he was gaping at the fact that he could be allowed to go free. Not that he wanted to escape anything, but if he leave, he could possibly get another opportunity to ruin the mad doctor. Death was the assassin's preferred method for destroying another human, but there were other, more subtle ways to produce the same effect. He pondered for a moment, his dull eyes catching sight of his ax, stuck in a wall on the opposite side of the room. He shouldn't leave it. It had been a good companion and it was wrong to abandon it to this madman.
He had a moment left to decide, while he found his feet. He flopped sideways onto his stomach, preparing to rise to all fours and attempt to stand. But after his stomach found the ground and his hands pushed against the drywall coated floor, the Chechen found that his legs would not respond to his command. He tried again, frowning. Still he remained sprawled on the rubble coated ground, while pink and red leaked from the corner of his mouth and pain blossomed in his chest and sides and back. A hint of panic began to blossom in his chest as he now frantically tried to get his legs to respond to his command. Keeping a firm hand on his breath as his heart began to beat faster, Drogomir managed to roll himself back into his previous position, wiping furiously at the blood seeping from his mouth. He pointedly ignored the jester standing next to him and attempts to pull himself to his feet using the wall behind him. His hands dig in to the destroyed plaster and he managed to pull his body up about a foot.
But then the wall material gave way and he landed hard on his rear. A grunt of pain and panicked frustration escapes the Chechen as he is momentarily blinded by a stab of agony rolling up through his back. He grabs his leg and squeezes it, hard, and his eyes bulge as he feels nothing. His breath comes quicker and his eyes dart to the checkered man, knowing that, by now, he must have noticed there was an issue.

| [[OOC: Posting as Check and Resnik]]
It seemed that things were calming down a bit in the ruined lab, and for that small thing, Check was eternally grateful. He had enough already to deal with, what with the gaping hole in the lab wall, the shattered man in front of him, and the headache of keeping it all quiet. Adding those two mutated madmen in a scuffle would just about break his patience.
Speaking of the shattered man, it seemed that he was having a spot of trouble in hauling his bruised carcass off the floor. Grey eyes studied him for a moment, before the scientist squatted down and looked the Chechen over.
”Surprise, surprise. Stein managed to break another one.”
The checkered man sighs and pulls out his phone, pressing a button for speed dial and holding the sleek black thing to his ear. The conversation was one sided, but it was clear he was talking to someone who knew quite a bit about them already. And they were close.
And rather recalcitrant.
Slipping the mobile phone back into his lab coat, he bounces a bit on his haunches and frowns. ”Don’t look so worried. We will fix you.” He raised an eyebrow at his own words, then dismissed the sentiment that came with it with a wave of his hand in the assassin’s direction. ”Well, in a manner of speaking. We can get you walking again. And that’s all that matters, yeah?”
He doesn’t have time to continue, as the elevator door dings and out walks the blonde brawler, complete with short shorts, combat boots and a bad attitude. She meanders over to the fallen man and the scientist, taking in the situation with a bored expression before turning to peer through the hole in the wall. She scowls, shaking her head at the disaster it had all become, and turns back to the men on the floor.
”You want me here, I’m here. Now what?”
Rising fluidly to his feet, the tall scientist stretches while answering. ”We need to get our friend here out of the hallway. Since you seem to like him so much, I figured you could take him back to your place.” There was a dead seriousness to the man that even she couldn’t help but roll her eyes. Bending down, she huffs and takes the Chechen under the arm, shuffling him about – regardless of his protestations otherwise – until he is positioned over one shoulder. The Ukrainian then stands, lifting him easily, and begins to half-drag him back to her room.
The scientist had a moment to think, in which time he pivoted on his heels, marched past both madmen, and reached the ax lodged in the far wall. Wrenching it free, he turns back round and heads out the way he came, calling to Stein as he passes.
”You’ll get what you want, it seems. The man’s got a broken back. I wish you the absolute best of luck.”
The sarcasm rolling from those last few words would not be lost on the other man, but Check didn’t particularly care. He stalks out of the room, and back to the elevator. With luck (planning) he reached the pair of stragglers before the elevator came. Without ceremony, he shoves the ax shaft into the Chechen’s free hand, then grins half-heartedly before returning to his own lab, hoping to forget the day’s problems as he gets lost in his own work.
[[OOC: Radic, I took control of you for a bit. Just ignore that bit if you think you would have had other ideas about the situation.]]

| It took only a few moments for another piece of glass topple and smash pieces across the floor, forcing Serin to sigh as he pushed the table away so he could get himself back on his feet. Now he was wondering what else he had broken, he'd have to go through all his old bank accounts and fork out some money, failing that...well...now come to think of it, he wasn't actually sure what Elden assumed that they were all doing here. From his perspective, he had just thrown them in a basket and hoped they didn't kill each other or someone else? Well, that was a rather interesting idea, surely he had other ideas. Or was it Stein that had the idea, though in his current state he didn't seem likely to know left or right. At east on first glance, there was something in his eyes...
There was that pain as his bones began resuming their original structure, more a discomfort right now as he tried to figure out what was going on. Elden here? there was someone else too, and then there was Resnik's voice. Serin raised an eyebrow in silent question, he couldn't see what was going on in the other room. He didn't move until every last bone had disappeared his flesh, even walking like that tore at his flesh, more than just mere discomfort...he began going about clearing things up that didn't require more than just placement. The smashed glass and bits of wall scattered across the room would have to be cleaned properly.
"Almost did, a few times actually, most of it due to guns", Serin's flat tone drifted as he picked his way through remaining bits of wall and glanced around the room. Some part of him was amused at the thought, but it was serious, and he didn't care for humor at the current time. He noticed the three other leaving again, finally leaving Stein and Serin in each other's presence. He allowed the silence to descend, he wasn't in any rush to be anywhere, and he wasn't one of those people that felt the insufferable need to talk all the damned time. He was sure if Stein wanted to speak, he would...but for now he was content listening to the silence after what had just happened.

| The half paralyzed assassin clenches his teeth as he is lifted, the pain preventing him from doing more than grimacing about the woman picking him up. This was humiliating and through the intense agony, disgust at this turn of events is about all the man can muster. As she situates him over her shoulder, a guttural cry escapes his lips, a mixture of frustration and pain. But there is nothing he can do to stop her. Ribs ground over each other and blood dribbled from his lips down the boxer's back. As Drogomir is toted away, he has eyes only for the mad scientist in the room, dripping in blood and gore. The Chechen would make him pay. Somehow.
As the woman pauses at the elevator, Drogomir struggles feebly, but has almost no effect on the woman's grasp. So concerned on his ineffective escape attempt, he is surprised to find the checkered man placing his ax in his grime covered hand. In fact, he almost drops it, but manages to keep his fingers on the well worn hilt. His eyebrows knit together and his dull gaze follows the strange man until the elevator doors close with a muted thump.

| Stein shrugged at everything happening, his gaze staying locked on his ruined arms and the flesh seemingly stitching itself back together with a strange interest. He'd never observed it up close despite possessing the ability as long as he had, it was truly a magnificent process. He was never one to really admire or gloat over his own work, but he felt accomplished in this, at least, finding away to continue his work even if he was gravely injured was something all true scientists would - or should, in his opinion - work toward. Popping his neck as he stood up straight, Stein visible struggled to lift his arms. It was something he accomplished, though only due to his inability to feel pain.
Looking over the wounds a bit more, he glanced toward Serin. "Luckily those shouldn't pose much of a problem anymore with my experiments. Not unless they're a high caliber." He shrugged it off, letting his arms fall back to his sides before glancing around the lab. He couldn't continue his work until his arm and hand healed, so he was stuck to making idle chatter. "Continue what you were saying...before we were interrupted. Everything, even the smallest details." |

| He stepped over to a empty expanse of floor a sat down, not really having anywhere else to sit and not having anywhere else more appropriate. Especially after what happened, his legs felt a bit wobbly. Serin kept repeating the same word in his head, trying to make sense of it. Of all the words to respond to, Survive? He grew frustrated but displayed nothing of the sort, he was grateful for being able to remember some things with clarity during his episode, but wanted to know more about the context that lead to him losing it. The surrounding broken pieces of building and the guy that was carried off, told him, that he wasn't the only one that had been involved. A small shrug came and he planted his bloodied hands behind him and leaned on them.
"Well, at first it was guns...until the bone structure came to an indefinite solidity", Serin seemed to sigh as he crossed his legs and looked about with no real aim to his wandering eyes. Nodding to the words as he turned his head back to look at Stein as he regenerated for what felt like the thousandth time this month. He paused for a moment as he tried to remember what they were talking about. "Well...for most of the part, the only side effects shown after the initial weeks were limited to the lowered standard of the immune system. The muscle cramps were a problem...and continue to be at times, I was thinking of a way to get around that but due to recent events...I've been slightly preoccupied", he said, watching Stein without expression. All the while, his mind speeding through everything that might have triggered the reaction to what Stein had said. ---------- OOC-sorry, been sick all week :/

| A weakened immune system and muscle cramps? Probably from stealing calcium from other parts of the body in order to harden and manipulate the bones the way he did. Still, it was rather impressive for him to have adapted so quickly. So far, out of all of his subjects, Serin had the quickest adaptive rate amongst all of them, including himself. The boy never ceased to amaze him, that was for certain.
"I see", Stein stood straight, his back popping from the sudden correction in posture, "so it's still causing you some problems. Nevertheless, I'd say you've been given an adequate amount of time for the adaption process. I'd say it was a success based on...extremely recent events." Steins emotionless eyes traced around the room as he mentioned the skirmish they'd just been involved in, the most subtle hints of the drugs still in his system making themselves known with quick, random thinks appearing in the corner of his eyes. Stein found it odd that these hallucinations were continuing. He had gotten over his insanity fit and everything had seemed to have calmed down, yet these goddamn annoyances still persisted?
Interesting, he mused to himself as his arms continued to heal, casting a sidelong glance toward Serin a moment later, "I say we move passed the adaptation stages now and see if we cant push your ability to the next level. I've also got a similar experiment I want to test on the Ukrainian Elden's gotten so attached to. It's based on the mutation I put you through, but I'm going to borrow a bit of your DNA for her tests. It should make for a rather interesting show, don't you think?"
