A Reunion

Darius looked around him. In the familiar sight of the alley filled his eyes. The potent smell of trash, once again filled his nostrils, and his entire body, covered head to tie, in yet another innocent man's blood. The kill was a blur: a quick grab and stab through the chest, and the man was gone from this world, but the endless eating of the beast within him... It was sickening to even attempt to think of. As the morning sky lit the world once more, Darius panicked at his own sight. Usually, he would change into a victim's clothing to cover his nude body, but at his feet, were tattered remains of what looked like a scarf. The rest was most likely being digested in his stomach at the moment. He looked through the trash bins that smelled of many unpleasant specimens, and came away with a powder blue bathrobe, stained at the front with dried blood and bits of throw up Lang the edges. Assuming this was his best choice until he found a charity box to loot, Darius hid the body to the best of his ability, and let the day go by. At night, he decided that he was ashamed of the creature he had become: a man without purpose is no man at all; at least when he worked for a drug cartel he had a place to rest, and a sense of duty to his leader. Without this, Darius would die knowing that he hadn't attempted to fid another reason to keep going.

 Night time rolled by, and while there was no physical change around him, the air that touched him felt supernatural... It's strange, having only been in contact with it twice, Darius sniffed the air, and could immediately tell that a very familiar friend was nearby. One tha he hadn't seen since he had left Great Britain in the first place. Darius, now unafraid of the night, exited the alley in search of his vampiric ally.

Hyaskus was talking a stroll through the deserted streets, thinking of when he should return to the Manor when a rather odd sight met him. In an alleyway it appears to have been a disheveled man wearing a sullied bathrobe. Sensing something off about him, he approached, "Pardon me sir, are you lost?" The Vampire asked, sounding bored rather than concerned, "Perhaps there is a shelter nearby for you..." He muttered under his breath.

At the sight of the vampire, Darius's muscles tensed, as if remembering his battle from his previous stay in Europe. Realizing that the moon was not yet full, and Hyaskus meant no harm, a pang of guilt swept through him. "Well, what a strange way for fate to reunite two strangers... Last we met, my teeth came quite close to ripping your throat out; now that I think of it, your blade may have struck first."
Still standing within the alley, he looked up at the cloudy night sky. " Shelter would be a wonderful thing to have, but what I would love more than anything would be for some clothes. Do you think you could go get me some? I know that some stores may still be opened at this time of night." With a single movement, Darius reached into his pocket and pulled out a handful of euros that he had acquired from a few of his victims. Without meeting the vampire's eyes, Darius grunted in disgust of his actions.

Hyaskus looked at the nude man with a perplexed look, "I apologize have we meet?" he asks, not recognizing him. Accepting the Euro the Vampire went to a thrift shop and came back with what appeared to be closer to rags than clothes, "Try these on." Hyaskus said as he tossed them to Darius before beginning to walk away, still not knowing who the Lycan was. (You can stop him somehow)

Darius dressed quickly. Looking down at his clothes, he found them somehow suitable for his current situation. He sighed, and looked for the vampire who had went out of his way to assist a nude lycanthrope in his time of need... how did he not recognize me... Unless of course, I imagined the whole thing? Maybe a side effect of my near death experience, but I do know I remember him from somewhere else.
Images of the time he was bitten went up like fireworks behind his eyelids. Darting through the memory, he remembered a purple cape flashing through the air, and a dead werewolf mere seconds later."The last time I was here, I was attacked by a werewolf, on my way back home. I would be dead, had it not been for a superhuman creature with a purple cape and an intricate blade came to my rescue." With that, he sped after Hyaskus, who has not yet stopped. Yet again, Darius felt the feeling of loneliness that had crept up on him when he had went to the cartel, seeking a place that he belonged to. Hyaskus and Darius both reached the edge of the alley. (Make or break me Hyaskus... Make or break.)

Hyaskus chuckled as he thought back, "Ah yes, I remember now. I killed that Werewolf that one time." The Vampire turned to Darius, "There is an Organization I work for that hunts all supernatural menaces that plague this land. If it hasn't been incinerated perhaps you can follow me back to there and join up." The Vampire walked out of the Alley. "I wonder if there are any non destroyed book stores in this city..." Hyaskus muttered, wandering mostly.

Darius could not help but flinch at the idea, that humans, vampires, and werewolves, have the ability to live amongst themselves without a strong wall or two to keep them from killing each other. It also brought out a small pang of sorrow and nostalgia in the young wolf; his sense of belonging once again returning to him.All I've ever wanted was a home for myself... A place I was safe to come and go as I please. Perhaps this may be what I've always wanted, but what if it isn't?????

With a sigh, Darius lifted his head up to examine the new moon. "I suppose my kind is one of the least sophisticated creatures. We're beasts after all; if there is any hope for me to live on as a wolf, I don't think it will be on the streets. How many of you are there?" A sudden curiosity washed over him, but the way he worded his last question immediately made him feel like an asswhole. "I... I mean... Are there more vampires at this organization? Better yet, what of the wolves?"

Hyaskus thought to himself about the numbers, "I saw at least one wolf on my way out, but it is primarily human..." The Vampire headed towards a street lamp, "Although perhaps it would be best to go there in the morning. Until then I need a botanist or something with soil." Hyaskus said, feeling weak because he had been away from his coffin for a while.

Darius looked around, kind of confused at the thought of hyaskus wanting soil... "When you say soil, do you mean a large quantity of it? Why do you need it exactly? Can't you just sleep in a bed?" Another thousand questions floated through his mind, although most of them slightly more twisted around the idea that he should bury the vampire alive.

Hyaskus sighed inwardly, "A Vampire needs to sleep in the soil of his homeland lest he gets weak." He then looks at the sky, "Though things should be calm enough that we can head to where I was telling you. Shall we?" *Exit unless stopped to Hellsing*

Darius smiled. After hearing such a strange remark from the mouth from the vampire, he could only imagine what other things he has not yet learned about his own kind... And yet, the thought of a large population of such interesting specieses in the same place at the same time made hi head spin. It was in that moment when he cracked. The world around him darker than he'd ever seen it, and the whispers if passerbys echoing through his eardrums as if they were screaming at him. His eyes locked onto the smallest, most insignificant objects, and put them into such a bright and vibrant array of clarity that it hurt to look at the dark areas of the alley they stood in. Darius closed his eyes and breathed heavily. "Perhaps.... It... Will be nice.... To socialize with someone... Who can tell me... What the hell... Is happening..." He coughed, and with that cough, a wave of tastes he had never tasted before; with that taste, a wave of vomit surged outward, and he hacked away at the heightened senses he had acquired in his nervous fit.
