Chad leaned against a wall, lighting up a cigarette as he usually did. It was the middle of the night in London and main street was still buzzing with activity. The police were out and about, citizens everywhere doing some last minute shopping, and suspicious characters roamed the streets. In other words, a typical day in London. Especially in this day and age where bombings of all kinds were becoming a common occurrence. Even disappearances were becoming more common. And of course, Chads employers the Hellsing Organization knew everything there was to know about these incidents. What they didn't know was where their pray actually was. And that is why Chad had been sent downtown. However, his mission couldn't begin until his charge showed up. He was hoping that it wasn't the normal green as grass recruits that the lady of the manor had pawned off on him a few times before. He'd like someone capable for once. And while he was waiting, Chad kept his wits about him. They had all kinds of enemies and the last thing he needed was to get ambushed in the middle of the city.

Elizabeth made her way to Chad, wearing a big coat covering her military clothing and weapons, it had fur on it obviously she looked quiet weak to the cold, though she looked weak in general if one were to take her on looks alone. Rather cold isn't it ? she asked looking at him, her hair was kept up in a pony tail a stark contrast form her letting it all down.
She looked rather unasuming in a way, obviously she wasn't standing out at all too much perfect for hiding in this city Ready to start ?

Chad could see Elizabeth coming from a mile away. She stuck out like a sore thumb when compared to everyone else walking the streets. Chad was wearing his usual attire and kept his sniper rifle in a case slung over his shoulder. She stopped right next to him. "When you've been in the field as long as I have, you get used to the cold pretty quickly." He took a drag of his cigarette, turned, and stepped into the alleyway. "Yeah, lets get this mission underway. The longer we take, the more the boss will probably get annoyed with us. Come on."

The alleyway was long and dark. Chad kept his eyes peeled for signs of any movement. He didn't expect and vampires to jump out at them here, but it paid to be cautious. They eventually stepped out onto a back street. It was deserted, the perfect place for an ambush if he ever saw one. He looked around for a good vantage point. Chad took out his Sniper and peered through the scope at a semi-tall building not too far from the street. If the vampires were making a nest anywhere, it would probably at the top of the tower. And they were paying attention, he was sure they'd seen him. There was always a possibility they were still clueless though. And since he was hoping for that, he planned around it. He began devising their plan of action, slotting his rifle back into its case so it didn't cause anymore of a glare.

She slightly huffed, trying to make a little conversation before a mission wasn't such a good thing for her to try. She was never really good with conversations at all, but after the drama of late she was willing to try anything. She followed the mercenary, keeping a little space behind him not looking too suspicious the allay was very dis hearting in a way, it was long and dark hopefully no attacks here it could provably attract some attention.
She kept a look out as Chad scoped out possible places for the nest, her eyes darting around quickly on point despite her rather tried state.

Find a place ? she asked noticing him putting the sniper away, her coat loosened up as Elizabeth was fully prepared for an assault, her dual pistols were slightly visible as was her rifle I'd rather we do this quickly as possible, the streets aren't as clear as they should be.. she spoke coldly.

Chad took one last drag of his cigarette before dropping it and stepping on it. He blew the smoke out of his mouth and looked down the street. "There's a clocktower not too far from here. It isn't as tall as Big Ben, but it would serve as a good Vampire nest. No one, but a caretaker would ever go up there. Its as likely a spot as any for them to hole up, so we'd best start there." He put his hands in his pockets and looked up at the clocktower. "The Vampires likely won't come out on their own, and we won't know how many there are until they do." He turned to look at Elizabeth. "I'll need you to be the bait and lure them out. Do whatever you feel you have to. I would do it, but my specialty is range, getting up close wouldn't be advisble. I'm going to set up on a rooftop and pick off whatever vampires I can see. The rest I'll leave up to you." Chad motioned to the rooftop that he meant so Elizabeth would know where he'd be. He then point to the clocktower in question. Chad reached into his coat pocket and pulled out an earpiece, holding it out for Elizabeth. "This is a two-way communicator. I'll relay any orders through this. Put this in your ear and do not take it out under any circumstances." He then turned and started walking towards the building he was going to set up on. Now lets just hope this goes off without a hitch.

This was the usual plan for places like this, but being the bait was rather unnerving for her, espicaly considering her last enoucter as the target for a vampire. But she had changed, grown and went through hell to ensure it would not happen again Just don't miss.
As Chad moved up to the rooftop she began to shuffle round her hair making it look messy, as though she had possible been drinking, and she made sure her guns were hidden.  Of course this wouldn't do to lure them out, she made it look like there was places to grab at her and her neck was exposed a little, all she needed now was confirmation that Chad was on the rooftop, then she would move in to be the bait.

Chad stood upon the rooftop of a tall building, giving him a great line of sight on just about everywhere in the vicinity of the possible Vampire nest. His trench coat blew in the wind as it swept across the rooftops all throughout London. The wind wasn't very strong. It was light and weak, just how he liked it to be. It meant that he would have to do very little compensation for his shots.

He knelt down and pulled his rifle out of its case, inserting a fresh clip of ammunition into the game. He made sure it was loaded and then went full prone. He zeroed in on the nest and then searched for Cassandra. He eventually spotter her before returning his gaze to the nest. He reached up and clicked the earpiece. "All set up here. Proceed with the mission, but if it gets too hot get out of there. I can only do so much from here." He placed his hand back on the rifle and steadied it as best he could. This operation probably wouldn't go very smoothly, but it was the best they could do right now.

The order was in, Elizabeth walked out into the street with her coat open a little, obviously hidding her weapons as well as her military coat by having it open as well, her neck was on display just enough, not only that her hair was rather messy as she took the time to make sure she looked like someone who had just came out of a bar or club after a couple drinks.
Hopefuly the vampire would like to get the "easy" prey.

A clocktower. Good as any a spot to make home to a group of vampires. Especially an incredibly gay and sparkly one by the name of Edward. Quite the interesting scene as such was played in the movie theater down the street, displaying that horrid show that has been alluded to.

What better a spot than that of the abandoned apartment complex lining the street? None! As such, no less than ten vampires called the building home. What ho? An intruder before the castle? Quickly now, descend upon them and seize the prey!

The door upon street level behind the disheveled one would open silently, and quickly, a single bullet from a suppressed weapon simultaneously striking the street lamp overhead, putting it out. A black blur now leapt upon the one who's eyes were most likely still adjusted to the bright light that had existed milliseconds before, the blur seeking to quickly retreat with their prize into the confines of the building if successful. The lights within the building were all off, one vampire on the topmost floor, in the back of the room, rather than at the window, with a scoped rifle, waiting.

Chad peered through the scope of his Barrett, keeping a watchful eye on Elizabeths progress through the street. However, his predictions had been way off the mark. There was absolutely no movement coming from the watchtower. And yet, a street lamp went out. And it didn't just go out by itself either. Chad couldn't hear the gunshots, likely due to a suppressor, but there was a reason that light went out. Luckily for him, Elizabeth was still on the main street, meaning any vampires going for her would be out in the open, regardless of blinding light or not.

His focus increased, drowning out every sound except for those that he required. He had to make this first shot count, as the Vampires would likely be onto him the moment he fired. If he was lucky, they wouldn't be able to trace him right away, meaning he could possibly get off a second and third shot before they pinpointed him. That would be his advantage. Once they were on to him which was inevitable, he'd have to play his cards close to his chest, otherwise he was done for. Normal Humans could only last for so long in a fight against a Vampire. Category F's weren't entirely difficult to fight. It was anything higher than an F that concerned him. He normally had enough backup to keep them off his tail. But a single vampire wasn't going to hold all of them off.

Chad waited patiently for the vampires to make their moves. And soon enough, his patience was rewarded. Only a few short moments after the light had gone out, he saw a vampire spring into the air. Thanks to his years of special operations training, Chad's reaction time was extremely quick. The second the vampire lept into the air, Chad traced its trajectory. He lined up the shot ahead of the Vampires head as quickly as possible and squeezed the trigger of his Barrett. A loud crack resounded as the anti-material rifle sent a silver bullet hurtling through the air at blazing speeds. It could easily cover the needed distance to impact the target. Now all he had to do was wait for visual confirmation that the target had been neutralized. He prayed that there weren't too many more vampires around.

OOC: Just so you know, the light was put out as the vampire was sprinting towards Elizabeth, so there wouldn't be a delay.

Also, that rifle supressed or naw?

OOC: Ah, ok. The writing wasn't really clear as to whether or not the vampire had been running while shooting. I just assumed he fired first, ran second. I'll keep that in mind.

And no, it isn't suppressed. So it will be heard.

(So do I just post or does Chad have to edit his post ? Dm said it was good too post)

It all happend so fast, the light suddenly went out without the sound of gun fire, Elizabeth imeadtly decided it was a show of agression and decided on a bet at that moment. During training she was put through all kinds of drills, senarios and such to prepare her.
This may have been her first time as bait but it seems that portion of the mission ended, she took a low stance and rolled forwards, she was no regular human enchaned to match a catagory d vampire.

Hopefully the fact she reacted so quickly and got down low would allow her to avoid the leaping vampire, and the roll would give her a decent five feet of differance from her former standing point. No doubt quickly getting up from the postion and taking a fighting stance still appearing to be unarmed.
The loud noise of the barret being fired didn't sway her in the slightest, she knew it was coming and form an ally.

PostSubject: Re: The Streets of Downtown London (Chad, Elizabeth, Rip, and Ausf)   The Streets of Downtown London (Chad, Elizabeth, Rip, and Ausf) EmptyWed Feb 11, 2015 6:47 pm

The vampire was surprised by this sudden movement, his roll through the air changing in a feeble attempt to both cushion his fall once he passed the distance and to try and catch the one who dodged him, which failed. Looked like he wasn't dealing with a huma... Make that Humans as the sound of the Barrett's report met his hearing, after it had passed through the air near him, having missed his now changed trajectory, if only by slightly. (If it's unclear, he rolled to the side somewhat to reach her, which though it failed, moved his head down enough to be missed, though he wouldn't have known until after the report.)

Also, at the loud report, a couple things happened. The two category D vampires and seven F's inside were alerted, including the F on the topmost floor with a scoped rifle, albeit not as accurate or powerful as the Barrett that had reported, but a decent 30-06 weapon. The flash and smoke were enough to alert him to the general position of the opposing sniper, though he couldn't see their form from behind the objects in the way, presumably of stone.

The vampire at street level would turn once he landed and attempt to snatch up the not-a-human as they finished their roll, as well, a small .380 pistol now in hand.

Chad waited for the first round to hit or miss. As the vampire reacted to Elizabeth it simultaneously dodged Chad's bullet which he was sure had now alerted every Vampire in the area. However, he spotted no movement in his direction. Of course, that didn't account for what he couldn't see. The vampire in the street however was a different story. If he fired off another round, any vampire watching and waiting was likely to trace him the second or third time he fired. That was an inevitability. And in the end, his better judgement won out.

The building he was on had small gaps between other, similarly tall buildings. If he could get closer, he could see more of what was going on. The double-edged sword of that was that the vampires would also get a better look at him depending on how close he was.

Deciding to take that chance, Chad stood up and took a few steps back before leaping over the gap to the next building. He repeated that and leaped to the next building. He set up on the edge of the building and peered down at the Vampire in the street. It had drawn a pistol. What kind of damage it could to Elizabeth if a round hit was unknown. Chad doubted it used silver bullets since Vampires couldn't touch the stuff. Still, to be safe, Chad put the hand holding the pistol in his sights and pulled the trigger. The report sounded loud as bullet exited the barrel and spiraled towards its intended target. As soon as he pulled the trigger, Chad put his right hand on his pistol in its holster. If any Vampire came up, he'd put a few silver rounds into them before they had time to react.

Finishing the roll she turned, the vampire was directly in front of her, good thing she was enhanced or she would be in big trouble. The bad thing was he had a gun, the maid didn't falter though her training took over.
In such a low stance it wasn't that hard to use the vampires own momentum against him. She went to grab onto his arm as he went to snatch her, twisting her body and would hold onto him with her other hand Do not grab a lady.. using his own momentum against him she would try to throw him over her and smash him against the concrete head first. In such a vulgar manner ! hopefully this was successful.
