To all Hellsing RPG Members,
We are excited to say that after many months of inactivity, we are bringing you some news and let you know that we haven't forgotten about you.

After several staff meetings, we have outlined a plan and new direction in which we would like to direct our forum. Hellsing RPG's name will be changed to Nightshade Anime & Manga RPG. This does mean that effective September 1st, we will be changing our web address to reflect our new name. This will also be part of a new webhosting and updated forum interface. We will be attempting to move away from Forumotion and broaden our horizons and establish new roots in the anime and RPG communities. There's no to fear for your creations however as all of them will still be kept safe and in addition, will allow for a lot of changes that many members have asked for repeatedly. We will now be enabling members to have multiple characters tied to one username with a dropdown box which will allow you to select the character you are posting from amongst all of your approved characters. Members will receive an email and password confirming their migration to the new system as it is rolled out.

This also means that a lot of the features we have talked about for months are finally possible. We will now have additional options for entertainment and contests on the site to keep members entertained in between posts. For gamers, we will now have a Steam community as well as a free community Minecraft server which anyone in the forum will be able to join and interact with their fellow RPers outside of forum activities. Additional incentives may be offered in future months for the member voted as being the Most Valuable Roleplayer by the community. Details will be released on these contests in the following months. For our mobile users, you will be delighted to know that a new mobile version of the site will also be released featuring the new plugins and augments that we are making and hopefully allow for lots of new customization and ease of access. These are just many things still set to come in the following months so please continue to keep an eye out and feel free to provide any input you would like.

In addition to featuring Hellsing, Nightshade RPG will now feature five other anime and manga as our mainstays; not only that but we will feature a sixth slot which we are tentatively calling our "feature slot". This slot will have an anime or manga that gets changed out every few months or so. When this happens, we will be taking suggestions from members for the next anime or manga to feature and spend the next few weeks after a new selection has been made to watch or read the selection. If you do not wish to take part in the roleplay, that is perfectly fine as participation is not mandatory, just encouraged.

does this mean I should wait up on trying to finish my app so I'm not in the middle of it when we make the jump?

Not at all. It will all still be in the exact same place for the most part.,

ok didn't want to lose a ton of work just because I hit post when you guys tweaked things XD

Such question - all scope of a forum and posts connected to a hellsing will remain in the separate section or will be deleted?

P.s. a quite good occasion at last to view cowboy bebop since earlier or there was no opportunity   , or time   ..

Everything for Hellsing is just being migrated to a new site but all of the posts will still be there.
