Seras Victoria - done!

Have you see the OVA or read the manga series of Hellsing? If so how far have you gotten? If not please direct your attention to youtube, and watch OVA 1-4 at least. This is the law set down by the creator of Hellsing, Kouta Hirano. I've seen the OVA and read all but the last issue of the manga.

Name: Seras Victoria

Age: 21

Gender: Female

Physical appearance: Seras is 1.6 meters, slender and curvy (and generously endowed, which has earned her more attention from the opposite sex than is to be desired!); blonde hair in shoulderlength, a heart-shaped face graced with large eyes usually bright blue - they can change to the red hue of a vampire when feeding or killing. Her complexion is paler than average. Usually she has a kind, if direct demeanor and and a sweet smile.

Clothing of choice: Seras wears her yellow Hellsing uniform most of the time, featuring rolled up sleeves, a brown leather belt, a miniskirt, long white stockings, brown boots and gloves, but she switches to different other outfits as spare time and situations demand it.

Weaponry of choice:
Hellsing Anti-Midians 13.7mm - it is a semi-automatic rifle capable of using a drum magazine, designed by the Hellsing organization.
The Hellsing ARMS Anti-Midian Cannon 'Harkonnen' - usually just called 'the Harkonnen', this 30 mm single-shot breech loader cannon is Seras' favored weapon. It uses various types of shells, including depleted uranium with silver for piercing armored targets and incendiary napalm rounds for destroying large groups of opponents both on land and in the air.


Race: Category D Vampire

Abilities: Regeneration may take a long amount of time for major damage (ie: 15 posts), sublime supernatural strength, agility, stamina, durability, and reflexes, big weakness to silver and blessed weaponry but survivable, killable through conventional means, ability to turn virgins into vampires, non-virgins into somewhat weak ghouls, the need to drink blood occasionally, susceptible to unblessed damage (still fatal to them), meagre weakness to sunlight (as in they get sick around it).

Seras was a police officer in her previous life, and she has hand-to-hand skills and training to match this. Additionally, she has excellent marksmanship.

Organization: Hellsing

Personality: Seras is a brave, strong-willed female with a strong moral character; she appears as something of a tomboy, determined to do her best, and she appears to be thriving the most when she is making herself useful. This is probably part her own personality, and part the result of a severe childhood trauma that has marked her. When out of duty or socializing, Seras is a sweet and endearing person with an infectious smile and the rare gleam of a pure soul - it still shines through the stains of pain and loss, for everyone who has ever seen her with her guard down.
When in battle, Seras locks all of this down and accepts her vampiric nature, becoming a very effective killer that fights with a singleminded determination.

Biography: Little is known about Seras past until the night she lost her parents - presumably she had a happy childhood, with a father who worked hard as an undercover police officer.
This was all shattered when the criminal organization he had been infiltrating caught on to his identity, and they tracked him to his home where they murdered him. Seras mother managed to hide her little daughter away in a closet before the killers shot and killed her as well, and the closet door creaked open enough to allow Seras to see the killers kicking her father's corpse. Mindless with horror and grief, she stormed out and grabbed a dropped fork from the floor, stabbing one of the killers in an eye with it; she was shot and flung back against the wall, and witnessed her mothers dead body being raped.

Help obviously arrived in time, but Seras had no family to take her in. She wound up in an orphanage where she grew up; she exhibited violent tendencies that nearly got her relocated. When she grew old enough to make career choices, she stubbornly insisted on becoming a police officer like her father - refusing to consider any other paths.

Her career with the law enforcement was put to an end when she was assigned to a team sent to Cheddar village, where a vampire was running rampant. The vampiric priest had killed the entire village by this point, turning them into ghouls, and her team was easily overrun. She fled from the church into the woods, but the vampire had ghouls out there as well, and the undead monster was entirely too fast for her to run away from.

The Midian had intended to rape and drain her slowly, but that was when her Master showed up - the vampire Alucard. She watched with horrified amazement as he got back up after being riddled with bullets to the point of almost falling apart, and proceeding to kill every single one of the ghouls. The vampire he had been sent to kill as a desperate last-ditch resort used her as a human shield while he attempted to reason with his 'fellow vampire'; Alucard ignored him entirely and instead focused his attention on Seras - demanding repeatedly to know if she was a virgin. Distraught, she finally admitted to it and was rewarded with a shot through a lung that went right through her and into the heart of the vampire behind her.

Dying from bloodloss and oxygen deprivation, her last vision as a human is of Alucard standing over her, telling her that the choice is hers. She does not want to die, refuses to die, and reaches out for him - for the only one able to help.

She wakes up at the Hellsing HQ - now a vampire of Alucard's bloodline, and in service to the Hellsing organization as well.

Seras Victoria quietly closed the door behind her and turned about to view Integra Fairbrook Wingates Hellsing; her commander and the leader of the Hellsing organization was seated motionless at the desk with a tendril of writhing smoke arising lazily from the cigar at her mouth. Seras stood automatically at attention, nodding respectfully to Sir Integra.

"You wanted to see me, Sir?"

Integra nodded shortly and reached out for the papers scattered on her desk, gathering them together before she handed them towards the young vampire in front of her.

"Quite right, Seras. You and Alucard both, but I imagine he is .." The stern commander glances pointedly towards a wisp of shadow leaving the leftmost wall, increasing in size and density while forming itself into the widely smiling form of Alucard himself, complete with hat and sunglasses. " .. already here," Integra finished shortly, viewing her immortal weapon of mass destruction with a calm and neutral expression. He replied by grinning insolently and tipping his hat at her.

"At your service, my Master," Alucard replied in a silky tone. "What task do you have for me and the police girl tonight?"

Seras smiled shyly towards Alucard as he first appeared, then remembered that they were there on business and stood to attention again, awaiting their orders. She listened carefully to the plan placed before them, to Alucard's bemused chuckle over the task at hand, and smiled towards Integra as the leader of the Hellsing organization finally quenched her cigar in the ashtray, shortly and coolly informing them both to get going. "Sir, yes, sir!" Seras commented cheerfully, starting towards the door.
There was a murdering psycho vampire to kill and people to save.

"Let her go," Seras commanded grimly, raising the Harkonnen to aim at the vampire. But the woman was in the way. Seras was a good, a very good shot, but she could not make bullets magically turn in midair and avoid the human to hit the vampire gorging himself on her throat.
It was too close to the past to not affect Seras. Back then, she had been in the woman's shoes .. abeit the vampire hadn't bitten her. And Alucard had been in hers. He had had no problem shooting her to kill the monster behind her.
But the woman was still alive. She hadn't suffered enough bloodloss yet to turn into a ghoul. And she was older than Seras; the chances of her being a virgin was extremely slim.

The vampire obeyed orders - in a terrible taunting display of cruelty, ripping the woman's carotid artery out instead of finishing his supper, grinning at Seras as he released the female's corpse. It fell to the ground in a boneless heap, and Seras pulled the trigger without a moment's hesitation. The shot was aimed true and would have buried itself in his forehead, but somehow .. it didn't ...

She gaped as the bullet deflected before hitting him. The shock lasted but for a moment, then she fired off three more rounds. None of them ever hit him, and the next thing she knew, he was in motion and he had a knife .. no, that was no knife; it was a machete.
She reacted instinctively in self-defense and threw herself back, and the strike that had been meant to cleanly decapacitate her merely cut her throat - deeply, but she would live.
She collapsed to her knees and prepared herself to fight for her real survival - to let go of all restraint and just rip and tear and rend. She just needed him to move in for the kill. He thought she was done. He was in for a surprise.

Blood was pouring like a waterfall from cut throat. The air left in her lungs from talking made odd gurgling sounds; she couldn't speak for the life of her .. her vocal chords were severed.

She watched with dull amazement as the leering vampire turned about with a shout of rage and pain, a crossbow bolt buried in his shoulder. Blood was coloring his clothing crimson from the wound. Who .. ? What was happening?

He sets up shields, police girl. But they drain him to keep up. Hit him when he does not expect it, somewhere he does not expect. He cannot defend his whole body at once, and he is distracted now ... seize the opportunity!

Master, Seras voiced silently in her mind, grateful that she was not alone. She forced herself up and clenched her hand around her weapon again, aiming it at the back of the vampire's head with a feral grin ... knowing that whoever had interfered could be enemies, and when this one was dead, she might be in for another fight for her unlife. After all, unless they were Hellsing, she was just another vampire ...

"So you want to be a police officer, eh?"

The man seated in front of her was a mystery. Obese, sloppily dressed and wearing glasses, he nevertheless had a ruthless gleam to his piercing stare. A ray of sunlight reflected in those glasses, making his expression harder to read.
Seras nodded calmly and pushed idly at her papers again.

"Yes, sir. I was guaranteed employment if I finished the education satisfactory. I understand I still have alot to learn, but I think ..."

He cut her off rather abruptly. "You're young, Miss Victoria. Very young to be choosing this career. You start out at the buttom and you won't have any past experience to help you rise in the ranks. Perhaps something else first, something to give you the experience to tackle this, first?"

Seras shook her head resolutely. "No, sir. This is what I want. I will learn as I go along, but this will be my career .. and someday you will be proud of hiring me. I promise you."

The man shook his head and picked her papers up again, going through them automatically. "Don't make promises you can't keep, Miss. I might hold you to them. Let's see about getting you officially on the payroll, shall we? We can find out what kind of person you are soon enough."

Ok right off the bat you have her age wrong. Seras is 18 when she's turned into a vampire. In the year that this plot takes place she is actually 21.

Again more mistakes. When you apply for a canon it is usually best to try to put numbers on their height at least. Seras is officially 5 ft. 5 inchs. in US metric, or 1.6 meters. So she's not exactly short she's of average height. Same thing with her built. Seras does not have an athletic built. If she did she would be more toned in her body. Seras though has the body of the average female thus a curvy figure. Think Kiim Kardashian or Heidi Klum. Next thing is her hair isn't a pale blonde. It's just blonde. Next Seras's eyes change color back and forth from bright blue to red. Her eyes mainly stay bright blue most of the time. It is when she's feeding or killing they turn red. Also her skin is not pale like Alucards since she's still a young vampire. You can say she has a paler than normal complexion.

Abilities: Regeneration may take short time for major damage (ie: 5 posts), large supernatural strength, agility, stamina, durability, and reflexes, can summon familiars, absorb memories, hypnotize those of low will power, low weakness to silver and blessed weaponry, susceptible to decapitation or stake to the heart (at this point, thats the most effective way to kill them but other severely damaging methods would work, conventional as well), levitation (for some), teleportation, ability to turn virgins into vampires, the need to drink blood once every two weeks.

Seras was a police officer in her previous life, and she has hand-to-hand skills and training to match this. Additionally, she has excellent marksmanship.

The race should actually say Category D vampire, and her abilities should change as well to represent category D abilities.

Seras actually does not embrace her vampiric nature she just accepts it. She works hard to hold onto any humanity she has left, and tries to show she's not like the other vampires.

I'm not gone, just been busy days recently - happy New Year!

Okay, I think I fixed all that needed fixing. I think most of my mistakes were from the assumption that Seras would be as I last saw her in the OVA and manga (9th issue, but the 10th just came in the mail today! Woot!), with absorbing memories and seeming to have embraced her vampiric nature, red eyes and pale skin and stuff.
The age I borrowed from a previously accepted application, since I weren't sure on her age, but oh well!

Okay. REEEAAALY quick here. You have no place in your application where Pip is mentioned... GOOD! Because in this RPG, he's still around even though no one has applied for the canon.
