Name: Seras Victoria
Age: 23
Gender: Female
Physical appearance: Seras is a relatively average sized woman, standing roughly five feet and four inches tall. She is a pale caucasian, native to the city of London and possessing a proper accent to match. Described as “curvy” by many, Seras has a large bust and hips but remains in excellent shape due to her active lifestyle both before and after her transformation into a vampire. A tomboy at heart, she keeps her straw colored hair somewhat short with bangs that just reach her eyebrows in front and a spikey toussel of hair in the back at the base of her neck. Though some believe it to be a bit frazzled, Seras herself is quite fond of the look and feels that it goes quite well is her slightly boyish facial features. When in a calmed state, her eyes are a very bright blue, further accented by her pale skin and yellow hair. However, when in a very excited state they weill become red like any other vampire. Also like any other vampire, Seras has a pair of enlarged fangs (though she tries to hide them as best she can. She has three scars across her body which are normally hidden from view. The first is a faded scar from a bullet wound she suffered as a young girl and the other two are the small holes in the side of her neck left by Alucard himself when he transformed her into a vampire.
- Spoiler:
Clothing of choice: Since becoming an agent of the Hellsing organization, Seras has dutifully worn the uniform initially given to her by Walter Dornez. The top is a form fitting, button up shirt with a high collor which completely covers her neck. There are two breast pockets and though the shirt is technically long sleeved, Seras wears them rolled up neatly past her elbows and buttoned in place to show the red interior. The Hellsing crest sits proudly over her heart as a sewn in patch as well as on the upper section of her left sleeve. Unfortunately for Seras, the rest of the uniform is not nearly as practica. The lower half of her uniform is a simple mini skirt that does not quite cover her knees as well as a pair of white stockings to cover her legs. On her feet she wears a pair of dark brown ankle boot which perfectly match the brown gloves she wears on all her missions. Though not ever-present, Seras will wear a military issue belt on missions with several small pouches to hold additional ammunition for her weapons. Also, while moving about in the day Seras relies upon a large pink parka with a hood to protect her from the harmful rays of the sun.
Weaponry of choice: The first weapon that Seras received upon entering the Hellsing organization was an Anti-Midian 13.7mm Automatic Rifle. While it carries no official name, the word BAERLKS can be seen stamped on the wooden stock. Though the 13.7mm rounds it uses would normally be a bit odd for a rifle of this type, their caliber and blessings (along with the "Anti-Midian" label on the gun itself) indicate that this weapon was created with the express purpose of destroying the undead. Initially built as a semi-automatice weapon, it was later modified for fully automatic firing and Seras received a 50 round drum magezine to compensate. Despite that, she still carries a spare standard magezine of 20 rounds.
- Spoiler:
Following the first encounter with Iscariot's Father Anderson, Seras received her second Hellsing made weapon, the Harkonnen. The massive, single-shot breach loading cannon allows for incredible artilery support in almost any situation. It can fire a variety of shells including napalm and even depletium uranium shots lined with silver for more heavily armored targets. The Harkonnen's great size and weight (120 lbs) make it rather difficult to wield for anyone not possessing supernatural strength. Luckily, Seras has such strength in spades.
- Spoiler:
Race: Vampire (Category D)
Abilities: Regeneration may take a long amount of time for major damage (ie: 15 posts), sublime supernatural strength, agility, stamina, durability, and reflexes, big weakness to silver and blessed weaponry but survivable, killable through conventional means, ability to turn virgins into vampires, non-virgins into somewhat weak ghouls, the need to drink blood occasionally, susceptible to unblessed damage (still fatal to them), meagre weakness to sunlight (as in they get sick around it).
In addition to her natural abilities as a lower level vampire, Seras went through considerable training as a police officer. While serving as a police girl, she was instructed in marksmanship of both handguns as well as rifles (the use of which she showed great promise in). Alongside her firearm training, Seras was taught basic self-defense and close quarters techniques to defend herself in the event she was ever without a weapon. Naturally, her vampire abilities have taken her former talents to a whole new level. When not fighting monsters, Seras is also a mildly talented cook. Because of this, the realization that she could no longer eat normal food was all the more devastating.
Organization: Hellsing
Personality: Seras is something of a walking abnormality in her current station in life. Though a kind, good-natured girl, she harbors a deeply burried rage aimed at those that would go out of their way to harm others. And yet, despite that rage she clings desperately to her own sense of morality and humanity. The wicked should be punished but to go too far or involve innocents in the crossfire is simply unacceptable. Because of that strong moral fiber, Seras’ transformation into a vampire has been difficult. She recognizes the necessity of her master’s actions and the eventuality of drinking blood herself but she recognizes the limits of vampiric power should have. Deny it too strongly and fade into dust, embrace it too strongly and devolve into a monster. Seras has always been a fighter, unwilling to give up in any facet of life and that spirit remains strong now. Navigating the ocean of information she was so quickly thrust into she has struggled to find a balance and remain herself despite everything else changing. Over the years of her service to Hellsing, she has gradually found that balance at long last.
Another facet of Seras’ personality that deserves to be mentioned is her ability to freely cross social borders and connect with almost anyone at least on some level. Despite differences in upbringing, Seras was able to forge a relationship of true respect with the leader of the Hellsing, Sir Integra Hellsing herself. Overcoming their perverted nature, she was able to grow quite close to the Wild Geese mercenaries, seeing them as an extended family. And in the chaos of the attack on London, she was even able to find a slight respect for the conviction of the paladins of Iscariot and their complete faith in their Lord. That being said, she still wholeheartedly disagrees with their brutal methods and will engage them without hesitation.
Rank: Officer(?)
Biography: The only child to a couple living in a small flat in London, Seras was something of a doted on child in her early years. Raised in a loving home by a kind stay-at-home mother and a protective father working with the police department, Seras lived her life as any other little girl for some time. Things began to change around the time of her tenth birthday when her parents told her that they would soon be moving to the countryside and away from the busy city life. When she tried to ask for the reasons behind the change, her parents simply told her that it had to do with her father’s work. Unbeknownst to little Seras, her father had been serving as an undercover agent for the London police office, gathering sensitive information for an upcoming prosecution. Fearing that his cover had been blown, Mr. Victoria was moving his family far from the city to the safety of the countryside. Sadly, his fears was well-deserved and before the family could leave, two members of the criminal gang he had been investigating attacked their home. Hidden in the closet by her mother, Seras watched in horror as her father and mother were gunned down before her eyes. Not content with simply murdering her loved ones, the criminals intended to defile her mother’s corpse as well. Overcome by disgust and horror, Seras attacked one of them with a fallen fork, stabbing him in the eye only to receive a gun shot to the stomach for her trouble. She fell to the floor and laid there in a puddle of her blood, unable to act as they had their way with her mother’s body before finally leaving her to die.
Thankfully, Seras was able to survive the ordeal thanks to the timely arrival of paramedics called by the neighbors at the sound of gunfire. Saving her life, authorities eventually had no choice but to deposit her in an orphanage. Ironically enough, it was the murder of her parents that gave the police the evidence they needed to finally bring the gang down. Seras refused to testify at the trial. Her refusal was the first sign of emotional problems that would haunt her for some time, frequently being scolded at the orphanage and short term foster homes for incidents of violent behavior. Despite these problems, Seras kept up a brave face, intent on following in her father’s foot steps and becoming a police officer, a person with the power to ensure that families like her’s were protected and criminals were punished for their injustices. Reaching the age of 18, she made good on that oath, joining the force as one of the youngest patrol officers in the precinct’s history. However, there were still those in the force that remembered the tragedy of her father and for her own protection her advancement in London was blocked at every turn, an attempt to encourage her to quit the professional entirely.
Once again undettered by the obstacles in her path, Seras simply picked up and left the larger city for the small town of Chedder. Far from the memories of her parents and the baggage it carried, she believed it was a chance at a fresh start where she could finally be rewarded for her own merits. For a time, that was the case. Seras began to rise through the lower ranks of the Chedder police force, gaining the respect and affection of the other members of the force one by one. That happiness was shattered with the appearance of a wandering priest one summer night. A strange man unknown by anyone in town, he would appear and leave at seemingly random times but gradually, the townsfolk began to disappear until he finally made his move. A malicious vampire, he systematically slaughtered the small town to feed his ever-growing army of ghouls. Though they tried to contain the chaos, Seras’ team was quickly overwhelmed until only she remained. Surrounded and unable to defend herself, she was saved by a man in red. After destroying the undead horde like they were nothing, all that stood between him and the priest was her as an unwilling human shield. Revealing her virginity to him, the red man shot right through her to destroy the monster and then made her an offer. Become a vampire, a creature of the night and survive or allow herself to die then and there. Seras Victoria, the fighter til the end, refused to die that night.
Essentially drafted into the Hellsing Organization, Seras’ world was turned upside down again and again in a matter of days. Vampires and other monsters were real, the Vatican violently hunted down any and all that opposed it, her beloved homeland was in constant danger. And she was expected to embrace this new existance immediately and rise to the challenge that a relic of the second World War had declared against the world. The terror of the Letz Battalion, previously hidden from the world, unleashed its full fury in 1999 in her home city of London. Through battered by the attack, the city, Hellsing and Seras herself survived the ordeal with the timely return of Alucard and the release of his Level Zero abilities. The years have gradually passed since then with Millenium making the occasional appearances across the globe to spread chaos and war at their insane Major's orders. Hunting for the warmongers on one front, and faced with an increasingly hostile Vatican on a second front, Seras has been gradually preparing herself for the next stage of a seemingly unending war.
RP sample: Seras' grip on her weapon was strong, yet not overly so. Like a firm handshake, it was just enough to keep the Harkonnen cannon steady as she lined up her shot. She was crouched down on one knee, her gun shouldered and ready to fire atop a small building just south of downtown London proper. Her target, codenamed "Target S.B.", had barricaded itself in a small apartement in the southern projects. While Hellsing had been able to track it easily enough, they couldn't risk approaching it without the risk of the vampire fleeing the scene and causing havoc. Because of that (and the relatively low level threat the vampire posed) Seras had been asked to deal with the situation. Her target was just under a mile away, milling about his dingy apartement hideaway without a care in the world. Opening her vampiric senses, Seras focused in on her final target. Heightened sound blocked out the unnecessary and isolated the steps of her target. Her third eye magnifies the necessary path of her shot almost automatically. She exhaled, probably an unnecessary gesture considering her supernatural nature, and squeezed the trigger. The Harkonnen barked once and the large depleted uranium shell was fired off through the night air. Having accounted for wind and gravity, Seras' shot rang true, stabbing through the brick wall of the apartement to catch the vampire dead in the chest before passing through the back side of the apartement, avoiding innocent casualties entirely. The massive shell had essentially ripped the murderer in half and he quickly degraded into nothing but ashes on the floor. Not allowing herself to enjoy the satisfaction of a job well done just yet, she pressed the call button on her ear piece to contact the Hellsing officer leading the operation.
"Sargeant Johnson, target SB has been eliminated. Will there be anything else sir?" she asked, emptying her cannon and slinging it over her shoulder. Hefting her weapon, she headed for the edge of the roof and began climbing down the fire escape to the streets below. On the other end of the line, the Hellsing officer began his response to her question only to be cut off suddenly, his voice replaced with a soft gurgling sound. "Sargeant Johnson? Sargeant Johnson please report!" she said, pausing midway down the ladder to look down the street. Several blocks down the road she could already see a puddle of blood begining to spread from the recently deceased bodies of the Hellsing operatives that had accompanied her. Another cracking sound could be heard and it was only a last minute twitch that saved Seras from severe injrury. The sniper's bullet intended for her struck the building just alongside her head. Attempting to follow the path of the shot, Seras was able to just make out the figure several buildings off. The sniper's heart beat was almost nonexistent. She briefly wondered how anyone could keep so calm while killing to avoid even her vampire senses. Seras found the answer to her own question as she focused in on the golden cross hanging around the snipers neck. Growling a bit, Seras' normally blue eyes took on an otherwordly crimson as the anger inside her chest came to the forefront.

Across the long hall of the practice range, nearly a constant cry of weapon fire could be heard. Though only a few people were currently using the facility, the combination of automatic weaponry and high caliber rounds was more than enough to make up for it. Sitting on a small bench several yards behind the firing stations, Seras sat with her elbows braced against her knees and her chin in the palm of her hands. Captain Bernadotte had asked her to meet with him here before heading into town for some sort of errand that evening but so far there was no trace of the French mercenary anywhere. Left with nothing to do to pass the time until he arrived, Seras was trying her best to take an interest in the marksmanship of the few Wild Geese members utilizing the range. She found no interest in using it herself anymore. Even at their maximum distance the indoor targets were simply too close to present a challnge to her supernatural eyesight. Sighing a little bit, the former policegirl closed her eyes, boredom nearly lulling her into a light nap. Her nap would have overtaken her entirely were it not for the sudden appearance of another man on the firing range. He was a new addition to the Geese, Peterson or something along those lines if she remembered correctly. An arrogant man with little respect for his superiors and little appreciation for the supernatural.
Wanker. she thought as he approached and began a stereotypical cat call.
"Hey there beautiful! I been looking around this city for a week now and haven't been able to find a girl with looks like yours. How about ya let me take ya out one of these nights." he asked with a smug smile, his hands hooking around his belt buckle provocatively. Opening her eyes, Seras frowned a bit. It was another moron only interested in her figure. She'd had to deal with plenty of them in the police force and several in the Geese as well. One of the bright sides of becoming a vampire was the added power to shut these people down in a much more powerful way than she had as a human.
"Well I appreciate the compliment sir but I'll have to decline. Thank you though." she replied with a well meaning smile to try and let the man down gently. Unfortunately, he was a stubborn one.
"Look I see what this is. Ya don't want people thinking you're a slut just because you've got curves so you try this hard to get crap. I get it and it's bullshit. So how about you stop screwing around and just say yes already?" the mercenary cocked his head to the side, obviously impatient as he crossed his arms over his broad chest. At this point, even Seras found herself at her wit's end. Perhaps her temper was a bit high due to Captain Benradotte's tardiness or perhaps she had grown too accustomed to not being accosted by every male in sight. Either way, her response was short and to the point.
"How about we agree that no means no?" the young vampire said casually knocking the back of her hand against the brick and concrete wall at her back. Though an apparently light tap, the impact of her fist left the very distinct impression of her hand embedded in the wall. Her smile never wavered as the mercenary swallowed hard and excused himself immediately. Waving at the immasculated soldier as he returned to the firing line, Seras bid goodbye to the recent addition to the Geese.
"See you then. Very nice meeting you sir."
