| The location is an abandoned fairground. Numerous rides still stand and many remain somewhat functional despite apparent years of neglect. Main structures include a ferris wheel, amusement park games, bumper cars, snack stands long emptied by rats and other animals and a host of other rides. The entire park is exactly half a mile by half a mile and surrounded by a ten foot high, steel chain link fence. There is a large parking lot alongside one side of the abandoned fairground devoid of cars. Other than that there is not any sign of civilization near the grounds. The electric system is still technically connected and should the generator be started (located in the center of the park), power can be restored to most of the attractions. It is the twilight hours of the day in late fall. |

| The sun beat down on the fair ground as Gaius hid inside the centre building, waiting for targets had been his life and he knew how to wait and how to kill. He had cut the power by ripping off the electric ox and now the silence allowed him to locate anything, without the sounds of a town his hearing became attuned to the silence. If it would be possible to hear something he more than likely would, though he savoured the kill as he got ready to leave his haven and begin the hunt. His gun was loaded and cocked while his knives at his belt were sharpened and ready to go to work, moving towards the door he paused a second as he made sure he heard nothing. He opened it quickly and quietly before moving out into the darkness of twilight, the feeling of cold on his skin made no impact on his emotion's like everything else. He ran quickly, keeping low as he got to the merry go round, with a lick of his lips he allowed his smell to kick in as well. This was interesting; all he had to do now was wait for his opponent. |

| Hyaskus was at near optimal strength, seeing how it was practically Nightfall. Knowing little of his opponent save for the Lycanthropy, Hyaskus headed towards the Ferris Wheel.
'Surely this will give me a vantage point. Besides worse comes to worse I just aim for a softer part of the body...' The Vampire thought to himself as he effortlessly climbed to the top of the Circular Contraption. | |

| Hearing footsteps someone began to climb the Ferris wheel Gaius began to listen intently, and as the steps went metallic as the ascent began Gaius moved towards them. He kept low and from the way the sound and scent was reaching him he learnt two things, the person has his back to Gaius, and that he was over confident. He closed in on his opponent in a few seconds in a noiseless gorilla run on all fours; his gun wasn’t raised just yet. The Spetsnaz moved behind the food stand, his ears pricked. This was getting fun, but the real fun was yet to begin. |

| Hyaskus, having just reached the top, heard something that made him turn around. He had just enough time to see Gaius hide behind the food stand. Formulating a Plan, Hyaskus onto one of the dilapidated cars, causing one of the few bolts left to fall to the ground making an audible sound, Hyaskus now stood precariously on the now unstable car, | |

| The ex-soldier poked his head out and began to fire of short three round bursts, firing three off at where his opponents was up on the wheel Gaius hoped to try and bring the cart down, it was a bigger target and by the sounds of it wouldn’t take much damage to break. He licked his lips as he released the three burst, then as the gun grew silent he ducked back down. As soon as his opponent was on the ground he would get mauled, and that would bring Gaius one step closer to ultimate power. His opponent was a sitting duck; it was a waiting game now. The Spetsnaz operative got ready to push himself up to run if need be, if he came down Gaius could go straight for him. |

| Hyaskus looked on with a quizzical expression on his face as the rounds hit the very edges of the car, thus not collapsing it as the Lycan planned. Taking this opportunity, Hyaskus took his sword, and cut one of the other cars from it's supports, thus collapsing that. Deciding Silence would speak for itself, Hyaskus clung to the side of the car that Gaius could not see, drawing his Peacemaker just in case. | |

| hearing the cart collapse Gaius waited a few seconds, he sniffed the air and smelled no blood on the gentle breeze. Assuming that his shots had collapsed a different cart Gaius waited, he could do this all day. Better safe than sorry he thought gently, his mind formulated plans. His opponent was a coward, yet he couldn't hide forever and when the sun came up the thing wouldn't have much longer if it was a Vampire. If not then Gaius would merely wait for the thing to die or come down, he grinned once more while waiting for a chance. Emotions were overrated, Sociopaths got the job done. |

| Growing impatient, Hyaskus decided to enact his plan in a different way. Hyaskus leaped into the air and landed quite loudly, dilapidated car infront of him. He then scanned the dark for Gaius. | |

| Hearing the sound of the Cart swinging slightly in mid-air Gaius guessed it was a jump by the pattern, he moved out of cover and moved in with all his speed. He fired in the direction in three round bursts, he took his shots quickly and effectively, and as his opponent landed the sound highlighted everything for Gaius with the vibrations acting as flares. He emptied his magazine directly at the bolts on the cart, with no motion from it and the sound highlighting the area with reverberation he grinned. He had little chance of missing, as his magazine emptied he slung it back on his shoulders as he waited a few feet from the base of the wheel with a ballistic knife drawn and reflex’s ready. This was the fun bit, this was the end game. |

| Seeing the Car was about to fall and his main ingredient for a Lycan pancake was not under it, Hyaskus jumped on the car as it fell, and leaped from that, over Gaius. Once above him, the Vampire fired two hollow rounds towards the back of his neck, hoping he was either too distracted by the car crashing to process it or too slow to dodge. | |

| As he heard shots just above him Gaius moved to the side with all his speed, the shots hit the grass and buried themselves in the earth. Gaius twisted to face his opponent as he fell, and Gaius zig zagged forwards enough to avoid shots but not too much so as to be unable to change direction or distort his aim. So just as his opponent landed with a sound thump Gaius allowed his ballistic knife to go, it was going for his chest. He let the grin fade; this was the time to be serious. Now was his time, and in close combat he was a king. While light on his feet he’d be able to avoid the shots of his opponent easily, and once he was out of ammo the games would begin. |

| Hyaskus landed on the ground with noticeable recoil. If one looked closely one could see a slight limp as he walked, and a fall from that height made him lose his footing momentarily. He stumbled to his feet just in time to feel the ballistic knife embed itself into his chest, somewhere below his heart. Coughing up blood, Hyaskus stumpled towards Gaius, sword drawn, as he lunged, hoping to plunge the blade into his eye. | |

| Gaius side stepped the lunge and stepped into his opponent’s personal space, he went with all his speed to knee him in the groin while his right hand went to grab his opponent’s right wrist with all his might, enough strength to shatter it and keep it in a good grip. With a smile he spat at his opponents eyes, his free hand merely went forwards to grab his opponent’s throat and crush it with his strength. This was the bloody bit he loved, this was where instincts were tested and honed, this was where Gaius got to feed on lesser orders and prey on those too weak to defend themselves. |

| Muscling through the pain but struggling to stay conscious. This truly was the all or nothing. Then, with adrenalin pumping through his veins Hyaskus smiled, "I'I'm left h-handed" He then took his sword and tried to pierce the Lycan's throat. This was it. If Hyaskus succeeded then the Lycan would be dead, but should he fail in anyway the vampire's windpipe would most likely be crushed by the lupine strength of his foe. | |

| OOC: you never stated dodging any of my attacks, specifically the throat crush, so I'm calling hit
Gaius ripped his hand back from the throat so as to drag the vocal cords and everything in it out of it, he then ducked underneath the sword blade and used his grip on the Vampires arm to throw the Vampire around three feet away from him. He pulled out his combat knife and prepared for the now ragged opponent, advancing slowly he went to claim the Vampires head and the long dead heart for food. This was a night to remember and now he was going to gloat over his fallen opponent, he rarely felt pleasure though he relished deaths that were this clean. He grinned, this was a good night. |

| All Hyaskus could do was stare at Gaius with blurred vision the last moments of his unlife. He could not even scream as his vocal chords where ripped out. As he embraced Death's cold, soothing, embrace he could feel pain in his spine as he impacted the ground with a thud. | |
