| The bombed out ruins of a large metropolis. Still smoking craters appear where tall buildings used to stand. Many ruined skyscrapers and smaller shops still stand, though in varying levels of dilapidation. Crashed and exploded cars still line the streets, some of them filled with the remains of their drivers. Overcast skies mixed with smoke to darken the arena. There are no survivors left. |

| Hyaskus, deciding to use strategy, heads towards one of the cars. Seeing that the car has a somewhat fresh corpse in it, the vampire takes it, and ties it up with nearby rope, hoping to manipulate the human feeling for comadere and companionship, and leaves it in the center square for all to see...that is if there were anyone there. Hyaskus then situated himself on the ledge of a medium sized building of about three stories, and positioned himself so as to remain hidden. | |

| War. It was nothing new to the former illuminati and ex-spetsnaz soldier. Bayman silently shifted along the fifth story of a building, a large M82A1 Barrett .50 caliber sniper rifle with a silencer in hand. He was going to have to use every advantage to survive and even through the silencer may decrease some of the range and accuracy by the smallest amount, it would be a necessary in the end to keep him as undetected as possible. Even against vampires, it had proven to be effective. There was a hole in the wall that lead to the open. It wasn't too big nor was it to small. Bayman decided it wouldn't be worth the risk and began placing one of his Claymore mines at the opening a few feet away from the entrance and behind the corner to keep it completely out of view from the outside or the opening. The soldier moved away from the fresh claymore, carefully aiming down his sights. The Russian spoke into his headset inside his gas mask lowly. "There may be hostile forces still in the area. My sniper rifle is on it's final clip, Requesting support."
"Negative. All forces are already engaged. You are on your own."
The Russian was on his own. Typical. No matter, he had a job to do. The ex-spetsnaz drew a deep breath, remembering the training he was given. Shoot between heart beats. If the target is moving, shoot in front of them. If the platform he was on was moving, shoot behind. Both of those events, the momentum of the platform of the moving target would have drawn them into the bullets path. Easy. The only issue now was finding his pray before his pray found him. Nothing on the ground below... maybe in the building across from him. Bayman adjusted his aim slightly, keeping a high enough zoom to see through the windows but not be cut off by his focus being locked entirely at one window; inspecting each one carefully. "And the cycle repeats..."

| Hyaskus was growing impatient, "This man must be near inhuman or clever enough to see through the ploy." Hyaskus sighed, "Well it would appear I will have to try more primitive tactics to find him."
The Vampire closed his eyes, trying to focus. Knowing that the entire city was dead save for his enemy was extremely beneficial. Using his vampiric hearing, Hyaskus tried listen to any signs of life. He remained still for several minutes until finally, he heard the sound of someone talking. It was faint though, as if the phantasm of a whisper. Taking what he could get, Hyaskus headed towards the general direction of the sound, the unnatural darkness of the atmosphere, and Hyaskus' black vest helped him blend in with his environment, as he headed to what was presumably his target.

| The former illuminati barely caught something coming out of the target zone. The time of day made it difficult to pin point his target. Dammit. If only it were a hour or so until the dawn would come up. If he could manage that long, it would give him the inevitable advantage over the nosferatu. The movements were far too much to be human. Vampire. That was the only explication. Adjusting the scope and the barrel; he fired a single .50 caliber round at the creature before rolling backwards away from his current possession and relocating. Staying the same place was stupid... especially against a vampire. Going into a lower crouch then before, the ex-spetsnaz fired a second round towards the vampire; adjusting his location once more. This time, he'd wait inside. | |

| Hyaskus suddenly felt a rush of wind in front of him, as the bullet barely missed him, messing his hair up. Always the logical man, Hyaskus jumped forward, and went in serpentine so as to make it harder for him to be hit.
Drawing his Peacemaker, Hyaskus entered the building where he heard the shots. Racing up the stairs, he finally found where he estimated, the fourth floor. Hyaskus then walked around the floors, and began checking rooms.

| Seems like the vampire made it inside, but not the way he expected. Either way, it wouldn't make much of a difference. The Russian recollected the claymore, placing it at the entryway of the area he was in. The soldier then moved quickly but silently into one of the office cubical's then aimed over it. If the vampire was near, the next shot might draw him out. At that point, he'd fire again before the undead moved into the main hallway, giving him the already needed killshot. That was if it went as planned of course. If that failed, there was the claymore waiting as his next line of aid. Bayman pulled the trigger, the bullet pelting beside room the vampire just checked. So close to hitting his target, even if it would have been a graze. A few seconds passed before he fired once more in case the plan worked. That was four shots out of the ten he had for the Barrett. | |

| Hyaskus, hearing two gunshots on the floor above him, Hyaskus heads right below where they originated from. Drawing his sword, in his left hand, and his peacemaker within his right hand, Hyaskus lunged upwards in an attempt to stab where he assumed the foot was, should he miss it would still be fairly close to the intended target (Possibly scaring the shit out of him) Due to the strange shape of the blade though, Hya would just hang there,
As he was hanging there, Hya started to shift his weight, trying to expand the pierced area into a small crevice. (If it was, by some chance, actually impaled in the man's foot, it would trip him up)

| After realizing his mistake, the Russian's eyes widened. He turned quickly aiming downward when he saw the sword cut through the floor. Damn! If he was just a few more steps back, that could have done some major damage to him. "Motherfucker!" He fired once at the blade in a attempt to break it then the remaining five shots downward at where he guessed the vampire would be, bolting off as he dropped the large sniper rifle. The .50 caliber rounds at such close range were more then enough to tear through the week floor. Now it was empty at this point and there was no way it could be of any more use. The Russian stopped, stepping over the wire of his claymore carefully so he wouldn't detonate it; moving quickly but quietly. Bayman moved into the next room to the left, pulling his G36c assault rifle off his back. Now it was time to engage in close quarters combat. | |

| Hyaskus would scream out as the sword was shot, causing him to go flying out of the room. Landing with a thud, Hyaskus looked at what remained of his sword: A jagged piece of steel, only passable as a dagger. Severely angered, Hyaskus ran upstairs, and began looking for the man, knowing he would not be in the room he was before, for obvious reasons. | |

| Bayman listened carefully to his surroundings. The vampire was on the same floor as he was now. There was no mistaking that the threat had just grown significantly. Mistakes from this point forward would be fatal. The soldier picked up a piece of rubble, waiting for the vampire to search one of the other rooms before making his next move. He tossed the debris one of the other rooms to increase the odds of luring the vampire into his line of fire without giving himself away. | |

| Hyaskus heard the sound. He knew it was likely a decoy, but he also knew that pussyfooting around a problem would only delay the inevitable. Playing along, the Vampire took out his Peacemaker, and walked out openly into the corridor. | |

| Bayman knew the previous action would be risky, and risky putting it lightly. It seemed like the vampire was going through with his bait. Convenient... maybe to convenient. The Russian barely leaned out of cover, firing a few rounds at the undead creature; aiming for the arm that held the remains of the sword and his legs to slow the monster down. The situation was far tense then what he was used to. When it came to fighting for survival, it didn't get much more then this. Live or die. Time to play the game. | |

| Hyaskus, finally seeing the Russian, threw his sword at him, and was heading right towards him as his hand was shot. As the bullet penetrated his appendage, blood gushed forth from his hand, coating the nearby walls in the sanguine liquid. Seeing the Human aim for his leg, the Vampire run full tilt, jumping and turning to narrowly miss the bullet, towards where Bayman was, "Fool, do you not know that bullets are useless to a Vampire?!" He said as he was turning the corner. | |

| "Well someones a cocky son of a bitch!" Bayman replied, moving his hands upward. The blade skimmed his combat gloves, sending some pain through the soldiers body when the blade ran across the clothing. If his hands weren't covered by kevlar lined gloves, that could have done some damage to his nerves and worse, give the vampire a sent of his blood. If that happened, it would be harder to hide from the creature. "Got you!" The first few bullets had been intentionally standard issue in case he encountered a vampire to make them feel as though they had the upper hand. The former Illuminati agent knew exactly what the vampire was capable of and what their weaknesses were. A faint grin grew across the soldiers face, squeezing the trigger a few times. Now came the real fight. Silver bullets would give him a lethal edge on the vampire. The odds were still vastly against him, but maybe somehow he'd come out of this mission alive. | |

| Hyaskus moved to the left but one of the bullets embedded itself into his already damaged his arm, the silver in it not only burning him, but the caliber of the bullet tore off the arm, "Argh!"
Hyaskus severed arm seemed to have spasmed, the blood gushing out of it moving it somewhat. When the vampire recovered from the intense pain, legitimate rage crossed his face. Taking his peacemaker, Hyaskus unleashed the Hollow Point rounds at the now exposed human, "I...I'm cocky?...Y-you are the o-one exposing y-yourself. I m-might've erred, bu-but, you've exposed y-your s-self to my b-bullets..."

| Bayman jumped at a diagonal angle to avoid a majority of the bullets, feeling two of the revolvers rounds slamming into his chest. He let out a loud grunt of pain from the impact against his kevlar vest. The hallow point wouldn't penetrate, but it would certainly have done damage to the kevlar plates that kept him alive. Bayman aimed quickly while he was on his back, firing a short burst of six rounds, the six shots aiming for the ankles, knees and the thighs of the vampire before shifting the aim upward, firing a single round for the center mass of the undead. | |

| Hyaskus, now pissed and running on adrenalin, leaps into the air, not even knowing of the bullets, but for different reasons. So while many of the shots missed, the one aiming higher hit him in the center of his right foot, thus blowing it off due to the silver/caliber.
Focused by the pain, Hyaskus corrected the trajectory he was knocks off of when his foot was blown off, he planned to land his knee on the man's throat, hoping to crush his wind pipe before he gets a chance to either reload or get out a different gun.

| The Russian watched the vampire take flight, dropping the G36c and started scooting back the best he could. Despite his efforts, the vampire came crashing down onto his stomach. The soldiers eyes widened, letting out a loud yell of pain. The ex spetsnaz quickly drew one of his knives, thrusting it forward due to how close quarters the two had become. However, this wasn't a normal knife. The ballistic knife. Bayman pushed the switch when he thrusted forward, sending the silver blade at the vampire near point blank at the vampires throat. "I... haven't come... this far to die now..." | |

| As soon as Hyaskus landed, he aimed the Peacemaker at the eye hole of the smoke mask, taking no time to gloat, Hyaskus fired the remaining hollow point bullet into it, pulling the trigger in tandem with Bayman pushing the switch. | |

| "It looks like we both loose... Ever hear of a deadman trigger?" The Russian muttered before the bullet tore through the eye piece of his gas mask. His head jerked back, a darkness beginning to cover him. He recognized it from his time as a P.O.W. It was death. However, he wouldn't die alone. His death activated the C4 he had on him, the silver bearings covering them both in a massive explosion. | |

| "FU-" He was then cut off as his body, or rather, the singeing mess formerly known as his body was incinerated by the explosion, all that would remain of either of their bodies being Hyaskus' pendant, and Bay's smoke mask. | |
